Jiangsu Nangang Dragons (江苏南钢龙) or Jiangsu Dragons or Jiangsu Nangang or formerly known as Jiangsu Dahua are a basketball team in the South Division of the Chinese Basketball Association, based in Nanjing, Jiangsu.

In the 2004–2005 season, the Jiangsu Dragons finished in first place in the South Division, defeated the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the quarter-finals and the Yunnan Bulls in the semi-finals, but lost to the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the finals.

 Jiangsu (help·info) (simplified Chinese: 江苏; traditional Chinese: 江蘇; pinyin: Jiāngsū; Wade–Giles: Chiang-su; Postal map spelling: Kiangsu) is a province of the People's Republic of China, located along the east coast of the country. The name comes from jiang, short for the city of Jiangning (now Nanjing), and su, for the city of Suzhou. The abbreviation for this province is "苏" (sū), the second character of its name. It is the province with the highest population density in China, though provincial level municipalities like Shanghai, Beijing, and Tianjin have a higher density.

Jiangsu borders Shandong in the north, Anhui to the west, and Zhejiang and Shanghai to the south. Jiangsu has a coastline of over one thousand kilometers along the Yellow Sea, and the Yangtze River passes through its southern parts. Since the inception of economic reforms in 1978, Jiangsu has been a hot spot for economic development, and now has the highest GDP per capita of all Chinese provinces. The wealth divide between the rich southern regions and the north, however, remains a prominent issue in the province.

Stephon Xavier Marbury (born February 20, 1977) is an American professional basketball player, currently playing for the Beijing Ducks in China. He won a championship with the Ducks in 2012.

The 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m), 205 lb (93 kg; 14.6 st) point guard was selected out of the Georgia Institute of Technology by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 4th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft, but was traded shortly thereafter to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He was an NBA All-Star in 2001 and 2003 and was voted into the All-NBA Third Team in 2000 and 2003.

Marbury has often gone by the nickname "Starbury", a name created during his youth. Marbury, the sixth of seven children, was born and raised in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. He attended elementary school PS 238. During his teenage years, he starred at NYC powerhouse Abraham Lincoln High School, After his senior year Marbury was named New York State Mr. Basketball. He was often heralded as the next great NYC point guard, expected to follow the success of NBA stand-outs Mark Jackson and Kenny Anderson.

Wilson Chandler (born May 10, 1987 in Benton Harbor, Michigan) is an American basketball player who currently plays for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has previously played for Zhejiang Guangsha of the Chinese Basketball Association and the NBA's New York Knicks. He played college basketball at DePaul University for two years before declaring for the 2007 NBA Draft, where he was a first-round selection of the Knicks. Chandler is listed at 6 ft 8 in. and 220 lbs. He plays the forward position. Chandler has exceptional leaping ability, finishes well at the basket, and is improving his mid-range jumper.

While he was growing up in Benton Harbor, Michigan, which is about a three hour drive from Detroit and two hours from Chicago, Chandler was raised by his grandparents. Chandler started playing basketball at Fairplain East Elementary School (in Benton Harbor, Michigan) when he was in fifth grade.

Chandler went to Benton Harbor High School in Michigan. He received Michigan All-State mentions as a sophomore and junior, while averaging 22.4 points and 12 rebounds as a junior. He helped the Tigers to a 19–4 record. He was also named to the first team All-State by the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan. As a senior, he averaged 24 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks per game. That year, Chandler and the Tigers went undefeated during the regular season and were ranked #1 in the state. They were beaten by eventual state champion Holt High School in the regional final. Chandler was named Mr. Basketball of Michigan for 2005.

Michael Deane "Mike" Harris (born January 23, 1945) was the 22nd Premier of Ontario from June 26, 1995 to April 15, 2002. He is most noted for the "Common Sense Revolution", his Progressive Conservative government's program of deficit reduction in combination with lower taxes and cuts to government programs.

Harris was born in Toronto, Ontario, the son of Hope Gooding (née Robinson) and Sidney Deane Harris. He grew up in North Bay, where his father operated the Wasi Falls Resort fishing camp. Harris first attended Waterloo Lutheran University (now Wilfrid Laurier University) but left after a year. At the age of 21, following his father's purchase of a ski-hill, Harris moved to Sainte-Adèle, Quebec where he became a ski instructor over the course of two years. After the unravelling of his first marriage, he enrolled at Laurentian University and North Bay Teacher's College where he received his teaching certificate. He was employed as an elementary school teacher at W. J. Fricker Public School in North Bay where he taught grade seven and eight mathematics for several years in a new open-concept class of 120 students. He continued his previous career as a ski-instructor at Nipissing Ridge on weekends as well as working at his father's fishing camp during the summer season. He eventually left the teaching profession as the success of the ski resort escalated. After his father sold his own ski-hill operation, Harris landed a position managing North Bay's Pinewood Golf Club.
