China's plans to become a military superpower
China arms race: China's military modernisation threatens US supremacy in the Pacific and could provoke a new arms race. Already, the Taiwanese are trying to buy six US destroyers to counter this perceived threat. For downloads and more information visit: http://journeyman.tv/57504/short-films/china-arms-race.html "China wants to become the stabilising power in the Far East", states military expert Junichi Abe. "This threatens US supremacy in the area". China already has the largest army in the world. It plans to build five atomic submarines, with the capability of attacking America. "China has a desperate craving for nuclear power", states Zhang Jianabo. But the real motivation for China's militarization is believed to be Taiwan. "China seeks to inhibit the autonomy of Taiwan", claims Abe. In such a scenario, Presidential advisor Michael Green believes: "the USA and Japan cannot help but become military involved." Dambisa Moyo: Is China the new idol for emerging economies?
The developed world holds up the ideals of capitalism, democracy and political rights for all. Those in emerging markets often don't have that luxury. In this powerful talk, economist Dambisa Moyo makes the case that the west can't afford to rest on its laurels and imagine others will blindly follow. Instead, a different model, embodied by China, is increasingly appealing. A call for open-minded political and economic cooperation in the name of transforming the world. Comment - China raps US over China Sea meddling
Comment - China raps US over China Sea meddling
China has warned the United States to be cautious in its words and actions with regard to territorial disputes involving China and its neighbors. The Chinese Foreign Ministry warning comes amid a diplomatic wrangle over Beijing's newly announced air defense zone in the East China Sea. Before this, Washington had warned Beijing against imposing an air defense zone over both the South China Sea and East China Sea. US State Secretary John Kerry said recently that Washington would help its regional allies in protecting their territorial waters. China and its neighbors lay similar claims to parts of the strategic and resource-rich seas. The development comes days after Chinese fighter jets chased the US and Japanese military aircraft inside China's newly declared Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) in the East China Sea. Chinese defense authorities say they have sent more fighter jets to the zone. The Chinese air force described the mission as a defensive measure in line with international law. China says foreign aircraft passing through the airspace, including passenger planes, will have to identify themselves to Chinese authorities. The zone includes the skies over islands at the heart of a territorial dispute between Japan and China. China is also locked in territorial rows with the Philippines over wide swathes of the South China Sea and has said it might set up a similar zone there. Senior Chinese officials have repeatedly called on Washington not to take sides over the issue.- published: 20 Dec 2013

So China and Japan are once again at each other's throats over the Diaoyu, or Senkaku Islands, as they're known in Japan. So why does China hate Japan? China's fake emergency exits...surprised?
China's fake emergency exits...surprised?
In China, it's normal coming across fake or counterfeit goods everywhere you go. In fact, it's probably more of a shock when things are actually real. You could say that China likes to keep it real with all its fake stuff. Take the completely harmless Made in China iPhone chargers for example, they're a killer buy and perfect for any occasion. If dairy is your thing, the Chinese make a great melamine milk. And if you're into soy sauce made from leftover human hair picked up from barbershop floors, you're also in luck as China has plenty of that. Or perhaps you're looking for some beef that is actually pork made to look like beef. Let's not forget the completely fake eggs that can be made from all unnatural products. China has also been making headlines for quite some time with its world renown gutter oil. Gutter oil is a fabulous Chinese creation. The term is used to describe recycled waste oil collected from sources like restaurant fryers, sewer drains, grease traps and slaughterhouse waste. Reprocessing is often ghetto using very rudimentary techniques for filtration, boiling, refining and removal of adulterants. The gutter oil is then packaged and resold as a cheaper alternative to normal cooking oil. Oh yeah, it's also carcinogenic, but that's not a big deal. Now thanks to the people over at LiveLeak we also now see that some emergency doors in China are also only there for show. The video shows two sets of emergency doors that are next to each other. The person shooting the video walks into the set of emergency doors on the left into a small corridor that connects to the doors on the right. Classic Chinese design. -------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. Is China taking over the world? - Truthloader
As China gets richer and richer, it's buying up more and more of the world's natural resources -- in particular those found in developing countries where it offers aid, loans and investment in return for raw materials. But although China says this money doesn't come with political strings attached, critics accuse the superpower of exploitation and colonialism. RECIBEN AÑO NUEVO 2014 DESE AUSTRALIA A CHINA VIDEO FIESTA COREA NUEVA ZELANDA

China Rises - Getting Rich (New York Times Television)
In 25 Years, China has achieved the most rapid economic advance in such a short time of any nation in history. How? By scrapping its devotion to collectivism and embracing private enterprise with the zeal of 19th-century robber barons. But is China's success riding on the backs of the poor?- published: 30 Sep 2013
