Plot
TOMCHI is a story of six notorious children whose mischievous and impish activities have created havoc in their school and society. But their life takes a u-turn when a cute and adorable Dog-'Tomchi' comes into their lives. The entry of this pretty new friend proves valuable for them as they learn the crucial responsibilities and decency in their attitude. They transform from a roguish gang to a civilized team just for the sake of their beloved friend Tomchi. But their joy and ecstasy does not last long when they come to know that the dog does not belong to them. Now the well-mannered kids decide to return their dear friend to its real owner. But before they could proceed for this step, Tomchi gets stolen. Now their only motive is to find Tomchi and return it to its owner.

Plot
Jay Kapoor lives with Jiya and her parents in Mumbai after the passing of his Delhi-based parents in an automobile accident. Both he and Jiya are in love, but she wants him to establish himself as a writer before committing to a marriage. When Jay spends all his time playing video games, she gives him an ultimate to find a job within two months or she will re-locate to Australia. Jay does get an assignment of Rs.4 Lakhs, starts writing, collects two installments of his payment, and a pleased Jiya decides to accept his marriage proposal. On the day of the formal engagement, her life will be shattered when Crime Branch Inspector Gupte will arrest Jay for being involved in the heist of a diamond called 'Constellation'.

Plot
Don Muthu Swami is one of Bombay's most fearsome gangsters. On his deathbed, his father forces him to make a promise: that from now on he will lead a decent life. From that moment onwards, the don has a new purpose in life: to become Sir Muthu Swami instead. On of his new goals is to become fluent in Urdu, for which purpose he hires the young Jaikishan as a teacher. Don Muthu Swami has a beautiful daughter, Sanjana, whom he wants to get married to Pradhan, the son of his close friend. However, the don's right hand man, Preetam, asks for her hand as well. To impress Don Muthu Swami, he claims to be very rich by stealing millions from his employer. Sanjana herself, on the other hand, is desperate to get married to Jaikishan, and to scare off Pradhan, she fakes to be pregnant. The Don believe Preetam must be the culprit, but as it turns out, the girl Preetam loves is not Sanjana, but another girl who claims to be Don Muthu Swami's daughter, Ranjana.

Plot
Narang is an accomplished and wealthy industrialist who lives with his daughter, Neena, in a palatial home. His daughter is now of marriageable age, and he would like her to marry his associate's, Bhisham, son, Vicky. But Neena is in love with a much poorer man named Jaikishan alias Jaggu. When Neena informs her father that she would like to marry Jaggu, he summons Jaggu's mom, Shanti, and instantly recognizes her from his questionable past. He belittles her, humiliates her and asks her to leave his house. When Jaggu finds out he goes to meet Narang, and asks him to change his decision, but he too gets insulted, and is asked to leave, never to see nor speak to Neena again. Jaggu promises him that he will return within one year and by that time he will be even more wealthy than Narang. Jaggu befriends a homeless man named Vishal and together they set forth to meet Jaggu's deadline. Things are going pretty well for Jaggu, as he has been able to get a sizable loan from a bank, and has started his own construction business. This success has got him enemies, and one day someone places a bomb in his car. Jaggu survives, but is critically wounded and in need of blood. His blood group is the same as that of Vishal - but Vishal refuses to give any blood to save Jaggu. Shanti is shocked and appalled at this, and sets forth to find out why her son's closest friend refuses to help him in this dire time of need.

Plot
Shortly after the double homicide of his dad's business partner, Mehta, and Shilpa Mehta, Akash Sandhu returns home to Ratnapur, and runs into the ghostly apparition of Shilpa. After recovering from the shock, he goes on a business trip to Mahabuleshwar, meets and falls in love with Shilpa's look-alike Shalini. He meets with her dad, who agrees to get them married. Before he returns home, he decides to introduce Shalini to his friend, Rajesh Mehta, but are unable to locate her. They approach the local Police for assistance, and it is then Akash will be devastated and utterly baffled when he is told that Shalini has been dead for more than 20 years.

Plot
After being dismissed from his employment as a newspaper editor, for writing against S.K. Vardhan, a influential politician and underworld don, Vinod Kumar, re-locates to the slums of Bombay, and starts his own publication. He soon runs into problems with the local street-gangs, one of which is headed by the notorious Raja. Vinod adopts a positive approach, and this brings out the best in Raja, who even manages to take Vinod's wife, Sudha, to hospital, risking his life, during a Bombay Bandh. Raja then decides to go straight, give up his gang, and study further, encouraged by girlfriend, Geeta. He leaves the slums to upgrade. Several months later, he returns back, anxious to get working with Vinod and his publication, only to find that Vinod is now a criminal don, who has no interest whatsoever in any publication, nor in Raja.

Plot
Young Arjun (Amitabh Bachchan) is brought up by his Daddu (Om Prakash). His Daddu decides for him to go to the city in search of a new job and life. While in the city he meets up with Bhairon (Ram P. Sethi) who guides him into finding a job as a servant in a 5-star hotel owned by Raja (Shashi Kapoor). While in the hotel, Arjun meets Poonam (Smita Patil) and falls in love with her. During this time, many attempts are made to kill Raja by the one and only Girdar Singh (Satyendra Kapoor) and his son Ranjeet (Ranjeet). All these attempts are thwarted by Arjun. Will he be able to save Raja from these attacks?

Mahesh Chopra lives a middle-classed lifestyle with his Government-employee dad, and mom, Shanti, in Government quarters in Bombay. Here he is enrolled in an Arts college, and is in love with wealthy Kiran Mehta, much to the chagrin of her businessman dad. He successfully graduates, and his dad wants him to carry on and get a post-graduate degree. Before he could do so, his dad retires, they are forced to vacate their apartment, and move into slums, where Mahesh's life spirals out of control.
