Bhupendra Nath Bose (1859–1924) was an Indian politician and President of the Indian National Congress in 1914.

Bose was born in Krishnanagar, West Bengal in 1859. He graduated from the Presidency College, Calcutta in 1880. He completed his master's degree in 1881 and his law degree in 1883.

From 1904 to 1910, Bose was a member of the Bengal Legislature. During this period, he was involved in the nationalist movement. In 1905 he presided over the Bengal Provincial Conference held at Mymensingh. He joined the anti-partition agitation and campaign against British goods throughout Bengal. He opposed the passing of the Press Act in 1910. He became the President of the Indian National Congress in 1914.

Bose was a member and under-secretary in the Council of the Secretary of State for India from 1917 to 1923. In 1923 he was made a member of the Executive Council of the Governor of Bengal. He then became the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calcutta. He was the first president of Mohun Bagan AC, Calcutta. He died in 1924.

Jagdish Singh is an Indian boxer and a boxing coach from Bhiwani district of the Indian state of Haryana. He founded the Bhiwani Boxing Club (BBC) in 2001, which produced four members of the five member boxing team in Beijing Olympics 2008, including the bronze medal winner, Vijender Kumar.

The credit for turning Bhiwani into an elite boxing center largely goes to an intrepid Sports Authority of India coach Jagdish Singh, who has been at the center since 1996. He was awarded India's highest honour for sports coaching, the 2007 Dronacharya Award.

A former national boxer, Jagdish has produced boxers like a factory, in a country of cricket crazy people. He is known for his unconventional training methods. Due to his no-compromise attitude, politics in committee kept him away from Beijing and from his quartet (Akhil, Jeetendar, Dinesh and Vijender). More than 1000's have graduated from his academy and have won nearly 161 medals at international arena and 312 national medals ranging in different competitions from world championship to Olympics. Currently there are 135 odd being trained. Boxers are encouraged to fight without chin guards, thus making them tough and skillful. Mittal Champions trust is also funding the boxers at his center for sometime now.

Anand Mohan Singh is a politician from village of Panchgachiya, district Saharsa, Bihar, India. He belongs to royal zamindar Tomar Rajput clan, which takes pride in establishing reputed cities of Delhi and Gwalior. He is the founder of the Bihar People's Party and was also a member of the Janata Dal (United).

He rose to fame in mainstream politics when he helped his wife Anand win an election for the Vaishali parliamentary constituency in 1994 as an independent candidate. Riding high on this success, his party (Bihar People's Party) contested from all the seats of Bihar in the following state elections and saw modest success. Singh was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Sheohar constituency in 1996 and 1998. He was convicted in the murder of an IAS officer and has been put for charge. The IAS officer is said to have tried to control a mob which was not in his constituency, and subsequently got attacked by the mob itself. It is said^{[by whom?]} that Anand Mohan must have provoked the mob to beat the IAS officer, though there are chances that the mob themselves reacted badly of having been beaten and charged by the IAS officer, despite not having jurisdiction. Anand Mohan later authored several inspirational books and poems while he was held captive in Saharsa jail. In January 2012, he released a book of poems titled Qaid mein Azad Kalam, which was inaugurated by personalities such as Jaswant Singh, Bhim Singh, Rajeev Pratap Rudy, and many more notable leaders.

Bipin Chandra Pal (Bengali: বিপিন চন্দ্র পাল; November 7, 1858 - May 20, 1932) was an Indian nationalist. He was among the triumvirate of Lal Bal Pal.

Bipin Chandra Pal was born in Poil Village, Habiganj District, Bangladesh, in a wealthy Hindu Vaishnava family. His father was Ramchandra Pal, a Persian scholar and small landowner. His son was Niranjan Pal, one of the founders of Bombay Talkies. B.C. Pal is known as the 'Father Of Revolutionary Thoughts' in India and was one of the freedom fighters of India. He was a radical.

Bipin Chandra Pal was a teacher, journalist, orator, writer and librarian, he was famous as one of the triumvirate of three militant patriots of the Congresses - the "Pal" of Lal Bal Pal. The trio was responsible for initiating the first popular upsurge against British colonial policy in the 1905 partition of Bengal, before the advent of Gandhi into Indian politics. Pal was also the founder of the journal Bande Mataram.

Badruddin Tyabji (Tyab Ali) (1844–1906) was the third President of the Indian National Congress. He was succeeded by George Yule.

Badruddin Tyabji was the "First Muslim" to become the "President of Indian National Congress".

He was born on November 22, 1844 in Mumbai, India. He was the son of Mullah Tyab Ali Bhai Mian, a Sulaimani Bohra, and a scion of an old Cambay emigrant Arab family.

He sent all of his eight sons to Europe for further studies, at a time when English education was considered an anathema for Muslims in India. Badruddin Tyabji returned to India in 1821 as the first Indian Solicitor, one of the other brother was sent to Najran for religious studies. Apart from Badruddin Tyabji (who at one time was the vice-chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University ), all of his other brothers were prominent and well respected members of Indian establishment. Their accomplishments included the first Muslim Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, the first Indian barrister and the first Muslim to qualify as an Engineer.
