Fare Forward Voyagers (Soldier's Choice) (or simply, Fare Forward Voyagers) is an album by American fingerstyle guitarist and composer John Fahey, released in 1973. It contained three songs, one comprising a complete side of the original LP.
Following the fulfillment of his two-album contract with Reprise Records and lackluster sales, Fahey was released from Reprise and went back to recording for his own Takoma label.
Fahey originally dedicated the album to Swami Satchidananda, but later said the primary reason he was involved with the "spiritual community in the mountains of Lake County, Northern California" was because he was in love with the Swami's secretary. Relating the background to the recording of Fare Forward Voyagers to Byron Coley in his article "The Persecutions and Resurrections of Blind Joe Death", Fahey recalled "Probably the primary reason I got involved with them was that I fell in love with Swami Satchidananda's secretary, Shanti Norris. So, I was doing benefits for them, hoping to score points with her, and along the way I learned a lot of hatha yoga. I could go over there and get food any time I liked. I didn’t believe in Krishna or anything. It was like being in the middle of The Thief of Baghdad.”
La princesse jaune (The Yellow Princess) is an opéra comique in one act and five scenes by composer Camille Saint-Saëns to a French libretto by Louis Gallet. The opera premiered at the Opéra-Comique (Salle Favart Theatre) in Paris on 12 June 1872.
Like many French artists at this time, Saint-Saëns was influenced by the Japonism movement in Paris. He appealed to this public taste by choosing a story about a Japanese princess, although it is set in the Netherlands. The music is characterized by a "light and brisk" quality that uses pentatonic harmony to evoke an "oriental" sound. The story follows Kornélis, a student who is fascinated by all things Japanese, and his cousin Léna, who is in love with Kornélis. Kornélis, however, is too obsessed with his portrait of Ming, a Japanese girl, to notice his cousin's affections for him. In a fantastical dream caused by a potion, Kornélis is transported to Japan. At first enthralled, he eventually becomes disillusioned as he comes to the realization that he is in love with Léna.
The Yellow is the name of the second EP released by electronica duo Lemon Jelly, according to the insert of Lemonjelly.ky, on September 6, 1999. It was limited to 1,000 10" copies, the first 240 of which featured hand screen-printed sleeves. The tracks from the EP were later incorporated, for more accessible listening, into the critically acclaimed Lemonjelly.ky album. When the inner sleeve was pulled out, the Lemon Jelly logo appears briefly through a series of die-cut holes in the outer sleeve creating a piece of real world animation.
From 1998 to 2000, Franglen and Deakin released three limited-circulation EPs, The Bath (1998), The Yellow (1999), and The Midnight (2000), on their very own label, Impotent Fury. The EPs were a critical success, and led to the duo being signed to XL Recordings.
"His Majesty King Raam" uses samples from "Evergreen", "Two For The Road", "Softly As I Leave You" and "The Greatest Gift" performed by Henry Mancini and his orchestra.

Fare Forward Voyagers (Soldier's Choice); originally released in 1973 on Takoma Records; reissued on Ace Records UK (2007) "This early-'70s effort by the great fingerpicking solo guitarist actually defies what has come to be known as the "Swami Satchidananda rule for guitarists." Without naming any names, it has been observed in the past that when a guitarist decides to make a recording in tribute to the Swami -- who was quite the subject of idolatry in this time period among certain performers -- the results are usually among the worst in that artist's discography. Not so for Fahey, who didn't strike most of his fans as the type who would want to have a guru, anyway. Perhaps this is his album that is most influenced by Indian classical music, judging from some of the tunings and scales ...
