She was 37 years old. The news of her death was confirmed by Kyle Luker of industry entertainment Her representative. Her husband actor Zack Robidas, whom she married in 2013 and known for portraying the role of TV journalist Mark Ravenhead on HBO's Succession & his role in “Sorry for Your Loss” took to Facebook on Wednesday & confirmed the news in a Facebook post, thanking her fans for their outpouring support after his wife’s diagnosis. Robidas's post read “Please don’t say Marnie lost her battle to cancer. It’s simply not true. I watched her kick cancer’s ass every day since diagnosis,” He continued with, “She is incredible. We chose to attack her diagnosis with blind optimism. We only talked about the future and continued moving forward. Ending with, I don’t know if this was right but it’s all we knew how to do.” Schulenburg welcomed her baby in December 2019 and 5 months later she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on May 8, 2020, which her doctors had mistaken for a mastitis diagnosis common to new mothers that's according to a lengthy post on her Instagram narrating her diagnosis. She described this form of cancer as the "most insidious kind, inflammatory breast cancer which doesn’t look like typical breast cancer, more aggressive, affects younger women, and disguises itself as a breastfeeding infection adding In her last Instagram post on mother's day, the actress shared how it wasn't a guarantee that she was going to be home for mother's day. however She had got released from the hospital late Friday night but had to be sent home with an oxygen machine. Marnie Schulenburg was born May 21, 1984 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, U.S. She started her acting career, in musical theater, the classics, and William Shakespeare. Schulenburg came to stardom with her role as Alison Stewart In 2006 and starred in a cross-over episode on The Young and the Restless, in 2007 she made her debut on As the World Turns a character she retained till its final episode on September 17, 2010. in 2010. Schulenburg earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for her portrayal of Alison Stewart in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series . The mother of one made her film debut in 2009 a romantic comedy ''Made for Each Other.
