Featured in a new UNDP Publication, a Success Story from Bulgaria symbolically marks the Closure of the Project Management Office in the Country

‘New Life for Old Buildings’, the ‘Bulgarian model’ for rehabilitation of old panel multifamily houses, is a part of a recently published collection of development stories on energy efficiency from Eastern Europe and Central Asia, entitled ‘Empowering Lives, Building Resilience.’ The publication was officially presented by UNDP Administrator Helen Clark and the Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS Cihan Sultanoglu during a launch event in New York, in front of an audience of diplomats, journalists and experts. The release of yet another success story from Bulgaria, in the span of the last two years alone, symbolically marks the last weeks of the work of the UNDP Project Management Office in the country.
