There are so many hilarious things that happen in the day-to-day life of a parent that sadly they are usually the only adult around to witness. That’s where social media steps in. Because whether you’re venting, commiserating, sharing or poking gentle fun at it, parenthood is a joke that you know a hell of a lot of other people are in on. Each week, the Huffington Post collects the funniest tweets from parents and publishes them in a gallery. Last week’s were particularly hilarious, with gems such as this: and this: It got me thinking that we could probably find some equally funny posts from within the ranks of Kidspot. After a bit of digging, I discovered that not only are my fellow Kidspotters some of the funniest people on the planet, they also have some of the funniest kids on the planet. Which I guess stands to reason. Collected here are some of the social media parenting highlights of 2013 – from children and their theories on life, to hilarious notes and parenting confessions.
