Andy Iro

Andy Iro (born 26 November 1984) is a retired English footballer.

Andy Iro started playing college soccer for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos in 2004, spending four seasons with UCSB, helping the team to the 2006 Division I Men's College Cup. In 2008, Iro turned professional when he was drafted by the Columbus Crew with the sixth overall pick in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft. During his first season at Crew, Iro helped the side win both the MLS Supporters Shield and MLS Cup. He spent three years with the club, before being traded to Toronto FC in July 2011. He spent the 2011 season with the club, but rejected the offer of a contract extension in January 2012. In September the same year, Iro returned to England, signing for League One team Stevenage. In November 2012, he was loaned out to Barnet, and spent two months with the League Two side. He was released by Stevenage in May 2013.

Playing career

Youth and college

Iro began his career playing for youth side Kingsley United Football Club in Toxteth, England, as well as attending St. Edward's College for high school, where he played for the school team as both a forward and midfielder. Iro also spent a short period of time as a trainee at Everton. He moved to California to attend the University of California, Santa Barbara on a soccer scholarship in 2004. At UCSB, he was coached by Tim Vom Steeg and was played as a central defender and occasionally on the left side of defence. He was immediately an integral part of the 2004 UCSB team as they marched to the 2004 Division I Men's College Cup in Carson, California, where his side lost on penalties to Indiana University. Iro described the defeat to Indiana as the worst moment of his career.

Columbus Crew SC

Columbus Crew SC is a professional soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio, United States, which competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the Eastern Conference of the league. It is one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its inception. Crew SC is owned by Anthony Precourt and Precourt Sports Ventures LLC. Precourt became the second owner in the history of the club on July 30, 2013. The club's head coach is Gregg Berhalter, a former player of the United States men's national soccer team.

The franchise was founded in 1994 and originally known as the Columbus Crew, without any markers of its membership as a soccer club, until late 2014, when the club revealed a new logo and the addition of 'SC' to its moniker. The "SC" in the team moniker stands for Soccer Club, but the team name is officially "Columbus Crew SC".

The Crew currently plays its home games at Mapfre Stadium (known as Columbus Crew Stadium until 2015), the first soccer-specific stadium ever built for a MLS team, with a seating capacity of 19,968 as of the 2014 season. From 1996 to 1998, Crew SC played its home games at Ohio Stadium on the campus of The Ohio State University. In 2014, the club's 19th season at Crew Stadium, the Black & Gold set attendance records for both most cumulative attendance and most sellouts.

Fernando Tejero Muñoz-Torrero (born 24 February 1967) is a Spanish actor. Among his work, he has acted in multiple films, including Días de fútbol (2003), for which he won the Goya Award for Best New Actor, and television series like Aquí no hay quien viva (2004), for which he won the TP de Oro Award.

Early life and career

Since he was very young, Tejero knew he wanted to be an actor. However his father wanted Tejero to become a bullfighter. During his childhood and adolescence in Córdoba, Andalucía.

As a struggling actor, Tejero worked with his parents in a seafood market. According to Tejero, during this period in his life, he had his first bad experience with showbusiness. He said he met a very famous Spanish actress with whom he had a cordial conversation. She ignored him and looked at him with contempt when she discovered he worked at a seafood market.

Cate School

The Cate School is a highly selective, coeducational, independent school for boarding and day students in the 9th through 12th grade located in Carpinteria, California, eleven miles east of Santa Barbara. The school has a current enrollment of 270 students from 31 different states and 18 foreign countries.

History

Beginnings

The Cate School was founded in 1910 by Curtis Wolsey Cate, a 25-year-old graduate of Roxbury Latin School and Harvard University. Originally established in 1910 as the Miramar School, then changed a year later in 1911 to the Santa Barbara School (or SBS), the school opened as a prep school for boys in grades 7 to 12, with its first academic year enrolling 12 students in total. In its early years, the school did not include amenities such as heat, hot water, or electricity, with Mr. Cate continuing to develop the 150 acres of natural landscape he had originally purchased. Despite these initial challenges, SBS celebrated its first graduate, Dohrmann Pischel, in 1914.
