Archeologists in Turkery say that within a symbolic coffin they discovered a small piece of the cross that Jesus was crucified on. The piece was found at the site of Balatlar church in the Sinop province of Turkey and was taken to a laboratory for further examination.

M u d u r n u - is a small town and a district of Bolu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey, 52 km south-west of the city of Bolu. It covers an area of 1,349 km², and the population (2011) is 20,528 of which 4,936 live in the town of Mudurnu The town has a long history and the name Mudurnu comes from the Byzantine princess Modrene (Μωδρηνή in Byzantine Greek), and the ruins of the Byzantine castle can still be seen above the town. This is an attractive district of forest and mountain. Mudurnu itself is a historical town with a number of well-preserved Ottoman Empire period houses. Tatlıca irili ufaklı 28 ayrı şelale barındırmaktadır.[1] Erfelek'e yaklaşık 10, Sinop'a ise 45 km uzaklıktadır. Şelaleler aslen Ayancık ilçesine bağlıdır ama Erfelek'e daha yakındır. Şelaleler Karasu Deresi üzerindedir. Burada tırmanma ve trekking yapılabilir. Şelale kenarındaki oyuklar ve taş şekiller basamak olarak kullanılıp yukarı tırmanılır. 28 şelaleden, ilk şelaleye tırmanılamaz. Bu şelaleyi dönüş yolundan geçmek gerekir. Bazı şelalelerden yukarı, dönüş yoluna çıkış vardır. Bu dönüş yolu ise sadece doğada yürümek için de kullanılabilir. Dönüş yolu üstünde çay bahçeleri vardır. Şelalelerin en tepesinde de bir cafe bulunmaktadır. Son yıllarda şelaleleri ziyaret sayısı fazlalaşmıştır. Bu filmin amatör ham videoları, Ramazan Aydın tarafından gönderilmiştir.
