Plot
In the best screwball comedy tradition, Coin Toss tells the story of love and luck turning on the toss of a coin. Tom Bennet is trying to do the right thing, but his good intentions keep getting derailed by his scheming fiancé and a hustler who want his $350 million dollar lottery ticket. Mix in skullduggery with a stolen investment formula, a childhood sweetheart, and a couple of homicidal pensioners, and Tom has a long way to go before he learns that it's okay to lose once you've learned what's worth winning!

Plot
The film revolves around Meera, a happy corporate wife and cookbook writer whose life turns upside down when her husband walks out on their marriage. Responsible for not just her children but her mother and grandmother and their old family home in Bangalore, Meera takes up a part-time job with a cyclone studies expert, who is dealing with his own traumatic past. The two narratives come together and, through a series of coincidences, the lives of Meera and her employer get intertwined in strange ways. Parallels are constantly drawn between life and the unpredictability of cyclones.

Plot

Plot
In a typical Californian neighborhood sits a very atypical family. The Gupta family, an Indian family of five, making their crazy way as best as any family can. In this episode, the family is introduced. Sunny, a college student with a serious lack of social life, fights ever constantly with his witty and sometimes eccentric mother Veera. Varun, a stern Indian father, demands the best of his children and is willing to use some unconventional means to attain it. Anjali, the baby girl of the clan, tries her best to live a normal teenage life while battling against her cultural expectations. Last and least, Yash is the adopted and maltreated son fighting for love. After their usual daily activities, the family leaves for an Indian party with their aunt Meghan. Hilarity and despair ensues when Veera is jealous of Meghan's new boyfriend, Meghan tries to kill her mother, and the entire party is robbed.

Plot
Bangkok-based Tara Mishra and Nikhil Singh meet at a wedding ceremony and fall instantly in love with love with each. They move in together and continue to live a fairly blissful lifestyle until Tara is invited to India to attend a wedding. Nikhil not only refuses to accompany her but also refuses to introduce his widowed mother, Meera, who is now living with another male, Dilip, to her. Tara, a talented singer/dancer, feels neglected as he is always focused on his business, is not prepared to make any long-time commitment, and forgets important events. An encounter with a taxi-driver compels Nikhil to change his mind, but things do no work out, Tara leaves him and shortly thereafter passes away in an accident. A devastated and guilt-ridding Nikhil returns home, cradling her photo and falls asleep. He wakes up the next morning with Tara alive and well next to him. Was he hallucinating the events from the previous day or was he being warned by fate to change his ways?

Meera (Hindi: मीरा) is a 1979 Hindi language film by Gulzar. The film is based on the life of Meera, a Hindu saint-poet who renounced princely comforts in pursuit of her love for Lord Krishna. The film portrays the life and times of Meera from a historical perspective rather than a mythological one. Through Meera's life, Gulzar has shown a woman's struggle to find her independence, dignity and spiritual satisfaction in a society where women are supposed to be worthy of only taking care of the household chores.
The story is set around 1580, in the time of King Akbar. Biramdev (Dr Shreeram Lagoo) is the king of Medta, a province in Rajasthan. He has two daughters, Meera (Hema Malini) and Krishna (Vidya Sinha) and a son, Jaimal (Dinesh Thakur). Meera is in deep emotional love with Lord Krishna, so much so that she considers Lord Krishna to be her husband. Akbar (Amjad Khan) is becoming stronger day by day and hence other small provinces are trying to join against him. Medta, in one such political agreement, decides to join hands with Raja Vikramajit (Shammi Kapoor). As a part of this agreement Meera is married (against her wish) to Vikramajit's son, Rana Bhojraj (Vinod Khanna). But even after getting married her love for Lord Krishna remains the same and she follows her own ideals and way of living which are not very acceptable to Bhojraj and his family. One thing leads to another and one day Meera is declared as an outcast and traitor who failed to play a wife's duties towards her husband, a bride's duties towards her family, and a woman's duties towards society. She is jailed and a public trial is ordered to decide her fate. But Meera is still unshakable and her spirituality keeps her going. She is not even afraid of death. Finally she is given a death sentence and is ordered to drink a cup of venom in front of the public.
