*Dyēus (also *Dyēus ph₂ter) is the reconstructed chief deity of the Proto-Indo-European pantheon. He was the god of the daylight sky, and his position may have mirrored the position of the patriarch or monarch in society.

Rooted in the related but distinct Indo-European word *deiwos is the Latin word for deity, deus. The Latin word is also continued in English divine, deity, and the original Germanic word remains visible in Tuesday (originally "Day of Tīwaz") and Old Norse tívar (gods), which may be continued in the toponym Tiveden (Wood of the Gods, or of Týr).

Dyeus was addressed as Dyeu Ph₂ter, literally "Sky Father" or "shining father", as reflected in Latin Iūpiter, Diēspiter, possibly Dispater and deus pater, Greek Zeu pater, Sanskrit Dyàuṣpítaḥ or DyausPitrah. In his aspect as a father god, his consort was Pltwih₂ Mh₂ter, "Earth Mother".

Sven Kramer (born April 23, 1986 in Heerenveen) is a Dutch long track speed skater. He is the Olympic champion of the 5000 meter in Vancouver 2010, and five-time European and five-time World Allround Champion. He is also three-time world champion and world record holder in the 5,000 m, 10,000 m, and the team pursuit (the latter alongside Wouter Olde Heuvel and Erben Wennemars). Before Shani Davis he was first in the Adelskalender; as of March 7, 2009, he is second behind Davis. Winning the 2010 World Allround Championship, he was the first speed skater in history to win 4 consecutive world allround championships, and 8 consecutive international allround championships.

Sven Kramer was born on April 23, 1986 in Heerenveen, Friesland, Netherlands. He is the son of former speed skater Yep Kramer, and the four year older brother of speed skater Brecht Kramer.

In the 2004 season he came in second at the Junior allround world championships.

In December 2004 he won the Dutch Allround Championships at just 18 years old and thus qualified for the European Allround Championships for the first time, where he won the silver medal. At the World Allround Championships 2005 he came in third. At the end of that season he signed a contract with the Dutch TVM-team.

Jan Blokhuijsen (born April 1, 1989 in Zuid-Scharwoude) is Dutch long track speed skater who skates for the commercial TVM ploeg.

In 2007, he got his VWO degree at school. After a successful period in skating and inline skating (in which he won several Dutch and European titles at the junior categories and a second place at the world championships in Korea) he decided to focus only on the speedskating. In February 2008, he won the Dutch Allround Speed Skating Championships junior title at the ice rink of Groningen. Later in the same month he became world champion at the junior world championships speedskating, where he finished in front of his teammates Koen Verweij and Berden de Vries. Together with them he also won the world title at the team pursuit.

As of February 2011, he is at the 6th position in the adelskalender.

Koen Verweij (born August 26, 1990 in Koedijk) is a Dutch speedskater and inline speed skater. At the end of the skating season 2008-2009 he made a transfer from the Jong Oranje team of the national skating union (KNSB) to the commercial team of TVM.

At December 30, 2007 he skated his first 10 km race at the Dutch all-round championships at the Kardinge ice track in Groningen. He finished the tournament at a fifth position which resulted in qualification as first reserve rider for the European all-round championship in Kolomna. This was a remarkable accomplishment, because he only was a junior rider at that moment, riding faster races than Sven Kramer did at the same age.

Later in the same season he participated in the world junior championships in Changchun. He won the silver medal just after his teammate Jan Blokhuijsen and in front of his other teammate Berden de Vries. It was the first time since 1997 that all medals were captured by skaters from the same country.

At the Dutch all-round championships 2009, Verweij finished 4th, also due to his spectacular improvement of his 10 km personal record, and qualified for the European all-round championships. However this tournament started with a big deception, because he fell on the 500m. However, he managed to finish the tournament at the 12th position. His season was crowned with a victory on the World Junior Skating championships where he won the 3000m, the 5000m the all-round title and the team pursuit. Because of these outstanding results he won the Egbert van 't Oever Aanmoediging award for the best young Dutch skater.

Marco Borsato (born December 21, 1966) is a Dutch singer. He started performing in Italian before switching to Dutch in 1994. He is married to Leontine Ruiters and has three children.

Marco was born in the Wilhelmina Hospital in Alkmaar as the son of Roberto Borsato and Mary de Graaf. He has a brother, Armando, and a sister, Sylvana. The family moved to Italy, where the father started up a restaurant in Garda. Marco spent a significant amount of time in Italy and speaks fluent Italian. In fact, Marco admitted that his Italian is much better than his Dutch.

When Marco was 12 years old he decided he wanted to be a sushi chef. Marco, though brought up with Italian cuisine, had a great love for raw fish bound in seaweed. When he was older he went to school during the week and he worked in a restaurant during the weekends. During his conscription he was bound to the cavalery, where he was conscripted as a NCO. Success stayed out after Marco Borsato won the Dutch Soundmixshow on April 6, 1990 with his rendition of Billy Vera's song "At This Moment." During that time he was indeed working as a chef.
