Samuel James "Sam" Champion (born August 13, 1961) is the weather anchor of ABC's Good Morning America and weather editor of ABC News.

Champion was born in Paducah, Kentucky to Sylvia and James H. Champion. He has one sibling, a sister name Teresa. His father, who passed away in 2010, was a Lt. Colonel in the US Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. Sam has a B.A. in broadcast news from Eastern Kentucky University, where he interned at WKYT-TV in Lexington, Kentucky.

Champion is a veteran of ABC. He was also a veteran weatherman for WABC-TV's Eyewitness News in the New York City media market since 1988, and has continued to do fill-in work on WABC-TV since taking the network job full-time. He currently works on Good Morning America as a weatherman, making reportedly $1.5 million per year. He was also seen on a segment of World News with Diane Sawyer on January 4, 2010. On April 7, 2012, he debuted as host of Sea Rescue, an educational and informational program in Litton's Weekend Adventure that focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation, and in many instances release of animals back into wildlife.

Albert Lincoln "Al" Roker, Jr. (born August 20, 1954) is an American television weatherman as well as an actor and book author. He is best known as being the weather anchor on NBC's Today. On Monday, July 20, 2009, he began co-hosting his new morning show, Wake Up with Al, on The Weather Channel, which airs weekdays from 6am to 7am ET, one hour earlier than Today. He holds an expired American Meteorological Society Television Seal, #238. Writing with Dick Lochte, Roker began a series of murder mysteries in 2009 that feature Billy Blessing, a celebrity chef turned amateur detective. The second book in the series, The Midnight Show Murders (2010), was nominated for a 2011 Nero Award.

Roker was born in Queens, New York, the son of Isabel, of Jamaican descent, and Albert Lincoln Roker, Sr., a labor relations negotiator, bus driver and dispatcher of Bahamian descent. Roker initially wanted to be a cartoonist. He was raised Catholic (in the faith of his mother) and graduated from Xavier High School in Manhattan. He worked on several projects as a member of the school's Cartooning & Illustration Club. He attended the State University of New York at Oswego where he double-majored in graphic design and broadcasting/journalism. Roker is the cousin of the late actress Roxie Roker, who was most notable for her role on the sitcom The Jeffersons and the mother of popular rock musician Lenny Kravitz.

Josh Elliott is a television journalist who is the news anchor for ABC's Good Morning America. Previously, he was co-anchor for the live telecast of ESPN's SportsCenter from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET with Hannah Storm or Sage Steele. He formerly filed reports for SportsCenter, filled in as a co-host on Cold Pizza and ESPN First Take, and appeared on ESPNEWS programming.

Elliott was born on July 6, 1971. After attending Loyola High School of Los Angeles, Elliott attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he majored in English literature and worked for the university paper, The Daily Nexus. He then moved on to graduate school at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where he earned his master's degree.

He worked in television as a producer for Galaxy Productions before moving onto 20th Century Fox. He began there in comedy development and later worked in physical production. After graduation from Columbia, Elliott worked for Sports Illustrated for six years, covering events in most major sports.^{[citation needed]}

Philippe Pierre Jacques-Yves Arnault Cousteau, Jr. (born January 20, 1980) is the son of Philippe Cousteau, having been born several months after the death of his father, and the grandson of Jacques-Yves Cousteau. As a member of the prominent family, Philippe is continuing the work of his father and grandfather by educating the public about environmental and conservation issues.

Born in Santa Monica, California, Philippe grew up in France and the United States. He graduated from St. Andrews University in Scotland where he earned both a bachelors degree and a Master’s degree in History. In 2000, he co-founded EarthEcho International with his mother Jan Cousteau and his sister Alexandra Cousteau. EarthEcho International is based in Washington, D.C., and its mission is to "empower youth to take action that protects and restores our water planet."

In 2007, he co-founded Azure Worldwide, an environmental consulting, development, marketing and media company. Through an alliance with the University of Virginia, where he is an OpenGrounds Fellow, Philippe is aiding in the development and promotion of a revolutionary interactive game that simulates the impact of individuals and communities on the health of critical water resources.

Philippe Cousteau (December 30, 1940 – June 28, 1979) was a documentary film maker specializing in environmental issues, with a background in oceanography. He was the second son of Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Simone Cousteau.

Born in Toulon, Philippe Cousteau first dived with an aqua-lung in 1945. He was a professional diver from the age of 7. A pilot and a witness of the advance of science in the art of diving and underwater adventure, he grew up traveling the world, learning about different cultures, and acquiring several languages.

In February 1967 Cousteau accompanied his father on the RV Calypso for an expedition to film the sharks of the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean. As well as being the lead photographer for the expedition, Philippe also chronicled his experiences in the 1970 publication Shark: Splendid Savage of the Sea. He coproduced numerous documentaries with his father until his death, including his own PBS series, "Oasis in Space," concerning environmental issues.

Cousteau lent his technical expertise to the U.S. Navy's SEALAB program. In the aftermath of aquanaut Berry L. Cannon's death while attempting to repair a leak in SEALAB III, Cousteau volunteered to dive down to SEALAB and help return it to the surface, although SEALAB was ultimately salvaged in a less hazardous way.
