Condé Nast, a division of Advance Publications, is a magazine publisher. In the U.S., it produces 18 consumer magazines, including Architectural Digest, Bon Appétit, GQ, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, and Vogue, as well as four business-to-business publications, 27 websites, and more than 50 apps for mobile and tablet devices. The company, headquartered in New York City, was founded in 1909 by Condé Montrose Nast and has been owned by the Newhouse family since 1959. S.I. “Si” Newhouse Jr. is the chairman and CEO of Advance Publications, Charles H. Townsend is Condé Nast’s chief executive officer and Robert A. Sauerberg is Condé Nast’s president.

Condé Nast is largely considered to be the originator of the “lifestyle magazines”, a type of magazines focused on a particular class or interest instead of targeting the largest possible readership. Its magazines focus on a wide range of subjects, including travel, food, home, culture, and other interests, with fashion the larger portion of the company's focus. More recently, Condé Nast has expanded its offerings to include marketing services and consumer-focused products such as apps and licensed merchandise. In 2010, GQ became the first Condé Nast title available on the iPad.

David James Gandy (born 19 February 1980 in Billericay, Essex, England) is an English model.

Gandy began modeling in 2002 after winning a daytime-TV model search competition (organized by Richard and Judy). At the time he had a job delivering cars to a car magazine. Gandy then signed with Public Image Worldwide, modeling mostly for catalog work in the UK market before making top model status for Dolce & Gabbana. He has appeared in numerous campaigns and catwalk shows for the luxury brand and has worked with supermodels such as Gemma Ward and Naomi Campbell . He is best known for his advert with Dolce & Gabbana's fragrance "Light Blue" which had 11million online hits and saw a 50 ft poster of him grace Times Square. He also modeled for the luxury brand's 2008 calendar, shot by top photographer, Mariano Vivanco. He returned to become the face of the second Light Blue fragrance campaign for 2010.

Other campaigns he's worked for include: 7 for all Mankind, Shiatzy Chen, Zara, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Stefanel. He also appeared on covers for VMan and L’Optimum and editorials for Harper's Bazaar and Spanish Glamour. In November of 2011, he appeared on the cover of Details (magazine) which was shot by photographer Norman Jean Roy. He modeled for Banana Republic's Spring 2012 collection. On 26 June 2009, Forbes Magazine ranked Gandy as the world's third most successful male model, behind Matt Gordon and Sean O'Pry.

Dawn Tarnofsky-Ostroff is the former President of Entertainment of The CW Television Network. She was in charge of all creative efforts of the network and oversees such areas as current programming, series development, scheduling, research, marketing and publicity.

Ostroff began her career in news as a reporter for WINZ, a CBS affiliate in Miami. She also worked in local news at WPLG and WTVJ in Miami.

Ostroff joined Lifetime Television in October 1996 as Senior Vice President, Programming and Production. She was Executive Vice President of Lifetime starting in 1999.

Ostroff served as President of UPN Entertainment from February 11, 2002 until 2006, when she joined The CW.

Now in its 5th season, The CW is America's youngest skewing broadcast network, and Dawn Ostroff was in charge of the network’s primetime slate, which during the 2010-2011 season featured series including The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Life Unexpected, One Tree Hill, America’s Next Top Model, 90210, Supernatural and Smallville, as well as new series Nikita, starring Maggie Q, and Hellcats, starring Aly Michalka and Ashley Tisdale.
