Arizona 3) How Old are you? 25 5) Whats your top 3 Main characters in SF? Just Dudley really, I mess around w Ryu and Yun for fun but I don't have the willpower/time to put in the work to be competitive with them 6) How long do you practice per day/been playing SF? Depends, sometimes as long as 3-4 hours, I guess you could say I average about 10 hours a week. I've been playing for almost 2 years. I played with my friends casually in super and ae though. 7) Who is your favorite player/look up to in the FGC that also uses your main? Smug for sure... I'm a shameless smuglette. GO ON, BRING THE HATE, I LOVE IT 8) Do you participate in local tourneys? if so, which was the most memorable? Yup, most memorable was the first ranbat we had this season since I was new to the scene. I got 2nd. 9) Are you a Pad or Arcade stick player and why? Stick player, gives me more control and better overall execution. 10) What is your worst match up and why? Juri for sure, I can be throwing jabs right in her face and still get low profiled by her cr.mk. It's risky to counter poke her since her lowprofile/airborne pokes neuter my whiff punish game. Dudley's answers to them are slow and risky. Her zoning game doesn't care about what dud can do to get around it. She's really hard to anti air without meter too. 11) If you had one word to describe your play style what would it be? Passive-Aggressive. 12) Now that Ultra is finally out, what are your thoughts on the changes of your character/s? I'm really happy with Dudley's changes from 2012. His forward fierce makes people think twice about backdashing, his kidney blow doesn't whiff when it shouldn't, and his rolling thunder is pretty dumb now. 13) Which version of Street Fighter is more balanced in your opinion, Vanilla SF, AE, AE 2012 or Ultra and why? Ultra, I feel like there isn't too big of a gap between the top and bottom tier characters anymore. My favorite change is how DP fadc is punishable now. 14) Whats one thing you feel needs to be changed in order for the FGC to go on a major scale? Where players can finally live off Fighting Games. The games have to be able to attract new players by bridging the skill-gap, that itself is a given. I think games like Killer Instinct and Guilty Gear are on the right track since they have very in-depth tutorials. They should become the standard moving forward. Also, the mentality among the players can be too cut-throat and judgmental. I know that in my scene, people are cool enough to help you out in the weaker areas but it's not always the case elsewhere. Online for example, sometimes the newer players can get alienated/insulted by the intermediate and advanced players. The online attitude in general can be toxic and there is way too much pride too. If you get wrecked by someone or don't know a match-up then you should be all over the opportunity to play them again. Conversely, even if I'm playing against someone who is less-skilled, I can still learn by tightening my reactions, situational awareness, and other areas that I know I need to improve on. Save the pissing contest for actual tournaments, winning isn't anywhere near as important as improving (especially online). 15) Whats Next for you? I want to become the guy to beat at my local, then travel to majors. 16) Any shout out you would like to give? Shoutouts to Smug, Kokujin, Mr.Kimokoan, ThirtyfourEC, Chaotix, all the Dudley players. Shoutouts to everyone that exposes me for my weaknesses/bad habits and motivates me to step up my game! **BONUS** 1)Why the Gamer Tag? Mocha Latte has been my nickname for awhile due to my complexion and my addiction to coffee. His over-the-top, dandy-man personality is hilarious. His fighting style is refined. His combos are fun to watch. He has a handle-bar mustache.
