Today, after two weeks of fighting in South Sudan that is believed to have killed more than 1,000 people, representatives from both the government and rebel forces met in Ethiopia to discuss the possibility of peace.

But back in South Sudan, the fighting continued.

Both sides hope to gain territory to strengthen their position at the bargaining table. Rebels captured the city of Bor days ago; now the Sudan People\'s Liberation Army (SPLA) is trying to win it back. Bor is 125 slow, painful miles from the capital city of Juba—a trip made far quicker by helicopter. And so VICE flew to the front lines with the SPLA.

Huge march in Spain after ban on Eta prisoner rally

At least 100,000 people have marched through the northern Spanish city of Bilbao after a rally in support of jailed Basque militants was banned.
Permission had been granted only for a silent march but some demonstrators shouted slogans in support of the Basque separatist group Eta.
Victims of Eta violence said the march made a mockery of their suffering.
Late last year, Spain\'s high court ordered the release from prison of several Eta members.
It was acting on a ruling by the European Court of Human Rights, which found Spain had acted illegally when it retroactively applied legislation that stopped them being eligible for early release.
Many of the prisoners had been convicted of murder.
Eta declared an end to its armed campaign in 2011 after being blamed for the deaths of more than 800 people over four decades.
However, successive governments in Madrid have refused to negotiate with the group.
\'A double sentence\'
Between 100,000 and 110,000 people joined Saturday\'s march, sources in the city told Spain\'s Efe news agency.

Ahead of a possible assault on the city of Fallujah, Iraqi government forces battling an al-Qaeda offensive near the Syrian border have launched air strikes on suspected militant locations in Anbar Province. Government officials in western Anbar have also recently met with tribal leaders to urge them to help repel the militants, who have taken over parts of Ramadi and Fallujah, strategic cities on the Euphrates River. Al-Qaeda\'s Islamic State of Iraq and ISIL have been steadily tightening their grip in Anbar in recent months, in a bid to create a Sunni Muslim state. But last week\'s capture of positions in Ramadi and large parts of Fallujah was the first time in years Sunni insurgents have taken ground in the province\'s major cities, and actually held the positions for days. In Fallujah, ISIL\'s task has been made easier by disgruntled tribesmen who have joined its fight against the government. Thousands of people who live in Fallujah have fled the city. However, on Thursday morning, there were some reports claiming the situation has stabalised, accompanied by calls for residents to return home. Report by Mark Morris.

Francois Hollande has threatened to take legal action against a French magazine which claims he is having an affair with an actress.

A source in the French president\'s office says he feels his privacy has been breached and he\'s studying what action to take.

??Closer??, the weekly tabloid magazine in question, claims Hollande regularly rides pillion on a scooter driven by his bodyguard to visit a Paris apartment block to see actress Julie Gayet. It has printed extensive details of their alleged comings and goings.

There has been no comment from Gayet\'s lawyers. She filed a complaint for breach of privacy last March after rumours of an affair became public.

Hollande, who came to power in 2012, is in a long-time relationship with ex-journalist Valerie Trierweiler, who has assumed the functions of France\'s first lady.

This Dictatorship is run by Thaksin Regime and his sister's government, Yingluck Shinawatra Administration. Although they claimed that they came from election and people should have no rights to overthrow them, millions of massive Thai people disagreed and were out on the streets risking their lives as they could not stand them to corrupt the country anymore. Whether the peaceful protests of millions of people can overthrow a shameless government is remained to be seen. Huge march in Spain after ban on Eta prisoner rally For more Latest and Breaking News Headlines SUBSCRIBE to http://www.youtube.com/user/24X7BreakingNEWS At least 100,000 people have marched through the northern Spanish city of Bilbao after a rally in support of jailed Basque militants was banned. Permission had been granted only for a silent march but some demonstrators shouted slogans in support of the Basque separatist group Eta. Victims of Eta violence said the march made a mockery of their suffering. Late last year, Spain's high court ordered the release from prison of several Eta members. 'A double sentence' Between 100,000 and 110,000 people joined Saturday's march, sources in the city told Spain's Efe news agency. Billed as a march for "human rights, understanding and peace", it was organised by Basque nationalist and separatist political parties after a judge banned a rally calling for Eta inmates to be moved closer to their families. A prisoner group had dropped its demand for a general amnesty last month in an apparent bid to engage the governments in Spain and France, which also has a significant Basque region. One marcher, 52-year-old Itziar Goienetxia, told AFP news agency she lived in the Basque country and had to travel 1,200km (746 miles) to visit her husband in jail in the southern city of Cadiz. "It's a double sentence," she said. The victims' association AVT had applied in vain to have the march banned, saying it gave "grave offence to each and every victim of terrorism". "The only aim of the initiative is to pay homage to prisoners of the terrorist group Eta," it argued. Subscribe to ITN News: http://goo.gl/zRYiYn Ahead of a possible assault on the city of Fallujah, Iraqi government forces battling an al-Qaeda offensive near the Syrian border have launched air strikes on suspected militant locations in Anbar Province. Government officials in western Anbar have also recently met with tribal leaders to urge them to help repel the militants, who have taken over parts of Ramadi and Fallujah, strategic cities on the Euphrates River. Al-Qaeda's Islamic State of Iraq and ISIL have been steadily tightening their grip in Anbar in recent months, in a bid to create a Sunni Muslim state. But last week's capture of positions in Ramadi and large parts of Fallujah was the first time in years Sunni insurgents have taken ground in the province's major cities, and actually held the positions for days. In Fallujah, ISIL's task has been made easier by disgruntled tribesmen who have joined its fight against the government. Thousands of people who live in Fallujah have fled the city. However, on Thursday morning, there were some reports claiming the situation has stabalised, accompanied by calls for residents to return home. Report by Mark Morris. Rebels captured the city of Bor days ago; now the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) is trying to win it back. Bor is 125 slow, painful miles from the capital city of Juba—a trip made far quicker by helicopter. And so VICE flew to the front lines with the SPLA.
