Traditionalist Youth Network Protests At Boxcar Books In Bloomington, IN

On Monday, August 26th, four members of the Traditionalist Youth Network (TYN) protested outside of Boxcar Books  in Bloomington, IN with signs openly advocating the lynching of blacks, gays and Jews. Boxcar Books was holding an event to send books to prisoners when they arrived. The white supremacists were severely outnumbered and amongst them was Bloomingtons favorite fascist, Thomas Buhls. “Racist, Fascist, Anti-Gay Trad Youth Go Away!”

On Friday, August 23rd a representative from the Traditionalist Youth Network at IU–a university chapter of a national white supremacy organization, came to Boxcar Books and announced plans to protest Boxcar on Monday, August 26th because Boxcar is a “Marxist organization”. The group posted images on their Facebook of a black figure being lynched with the word “communism” scrawled across it. They tagged Boxcar Books in this picture and wrote “Just expect us” underneath. They know we are their enemy, and they decided to attack.

Community members were quick to respond to the threat of white supremacist organizing in Bloomington. Over the weekend folks spread word to friends, neighbors, and local businesses, rallying strong support against TYN’s racist, homophobic message.

Boxcar Books opened on Monday at 9am. Several dozen people spent the morning at Boxcar writing letters to prisoners, sharing food, and making signs reading “Bloomington is for queers” and “Immigrants welcome here”. Students visiting Boxcar to pick up textbooks on the first day of classes were alerted that racist organizing is happening at IU and a great number of people called, messaged, or came by Boxcar throughout the day to offer their support. Banners against fascism were dropped on campus and downtown.

Around 2pm, four xenophobic chauvinists arrived at Boxcar chanting, “racist, fascist, anti-gay, Trad Youth will not go away”. Three of the miscreants were recognized by counter-protesters as folks from the local area including Thomas “Bullshit” Buhls, KKK Klansman. They were joined by Matt Heimbach, co-founder of TYN. About 80 counter-protesters challenged the TYN’s racist, homophobic, transphobic, anti-semitic rhetoric. The group was surrounded on all sides, sprayed with a garden hose, duct tape lassoed, condom-bombed with water-filled condomns, and pelted with “the people’s apples” as they ran away after about a 30 minute barraging.

Monday’s counter-protest was a remarkable showing of individuals in solidarity against racism and white supremacy. Though Boxcar Books was targeted for today’s particular action, this was never a singular threat against Boxcar or MWPP but rather an assault on the safety of all.

While retreating, wet and defeated, TYN members announced that they would be back shouting, “expect us again!”

PDX Nazi Punk Tom Frederick Christensen Moves To Chicago

On May 13th of 2012 our comrades at Rose City Antifa released information showing that Tom Fredrick Christensen, AKA "Trigger Tom", was in fact a neo-nazi. He was attempting to enter into Left-wing and activist political circles in Portland and was found on stormfront promoting the neo nazi organization known as volksfront (VF). Since this release it appears that Tom has moved to Chicago and is slowly starting to make connections to various sects of the punk and metal scene here. Below are the full details of his neo-nazi ties.

Rose City Antifa wishes to alert anti-racists and allies about Thomas Fredrick Christensen, AKA “Trigger Tom,” a white supremacist currently a part of the metal and punk scenes in Portland. Christensen has come to our organization’s attention most recently for his attempts to enter into Left-wing and activist political circles in Portland. “Trigger Tom” Christensen is currently friends with a number of local Left-wing spaces and organizations on Facebook, and our organization is concerned that Christensen may be gathering intelligence for neo-Nazis, the state, or both.

Some of Christensen’s links to white nationalist and neo-Nazi movements are outlined below. Christensen does not appear to have undergone a radical change of heart since he began professing these racist and extreme-Right affiliations. Christensen last logged into his account with “NewSaxon”--a neo-Nazi social networking site--on March 28th of this year, less than two months ago.  He has made over 350 posts on the white supremacist Stormfront.org forum. Christensen’s most recent post on Stormfront occurred Thursday, May 10, 2012. At the time of writing, Christensen’s pseudonyms are “Whitepunx” on Stormfront and “Teufelhunden” on NewSaxon. Both profiles remain active. Christensen cross-referenced the two profiles himself in a Stormfront forum post dated August 16, 2010, showing “Whitepunx” on Stormfront to be “Teufelhunden” on NewSaxon.

Christensen has a photo of his face on his NewSaxon social networking profile, to which

he added the caption “Nazi Punk”. All of Christensen’s personal information (for example, his date of birth) matches these white power profiles, and there are photos on these two racist sites that correspond to Christensen’s other, not clearly Nazi, online accounts. Christensen has posted information concerning anti-fascists on Stormfront.org. It appears that Christensen is actively fishing for fresh information on anti-fascists and Leftists.

In his signature for the Stormfront forum, Christensen promotes Volksfront International, a neo-Nazi organization active on several continents. “Volksfront” is also the first of Christensen’s “Interests” listed on the NewSaxon social networking site. The Volksfront organization was formed in 1994 within the Oregon prison system, and currently maintains a membership base on the outside in Portland, Eugene, and elsewhere in the state. Throughout its history, Volksfront has been involved in several acts of extreme violence to further its cause, including the 2003 murder of Mark Randall Townsend, a homeless man in Tacoma, Washington, by the leader of a probationary Volksfront unit and his associates. In 2010, Christensen also linked himself to Volksfront via his Facebook page, by promoting the Volksfront-affiliated black metal act Immortal Pride. Christensen, now trying to befriend Leftists on Facebook, has since revised his Facebook profile.

Volksfront are not the only neo-Nazis with violent tendencies that are promoted by Christensen. On June 28, 2010, Christensen/“Whitepunx” posted on Stormfront to praise JT Ready, a neo-Nazi who led armed anti-immigrant militias along the  Arizona/Mexico border. Ready murdered four others, including an infant, before committing suicide on May 2 of this year. In addition, Christensen associates online with members of the American Front, another neo-Nazi group. Eleven members of the American Front in Florida have been arrested--with a twelfth currently being sought--this month in a conspiracy case surrounding plans to attack those of other races as well as anti-racist political opponents. Tom Christensen also celebrates neo-Nazi terrorists of the past, with his NewSaxon profile proclaiming the racist “14 words” motto (“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”) This motto was created by David Lane, a now-deceased member of The Silent Brotherhood/The Order, a white supremacist terrorist group responsible for bank robberies and murder in the 1980s.

According to one of his own internet posts, Christensen usually tries to fly below the radar in an effort to gather information on those he considers his opponents. As Christensen/“Whitepunx” stated on the Stormfront forum:

“I was never an anti [antifascist] but I’ve hung out with a few of them. I used to be a big punk rocker in the music scene and there were some antis that ran around in the same scene. I was friends with a few. They weren’t trying to recruit me, or anybody really. They did not, however, know I was a WN [white nationalist]. I kept my beliefs to myself and would shut down any opinions the[y] expressed that seemed to have holes in them. It’s been fairly useful to know some of these people. I now know who all the major players are in the anti and SHARP [Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice] scene.” (March 13, 2011)

In a particularly troubling recent Stormfront post, Christensen discusses the possibility of gathering evidence for the state:

“I had an interesting thought the other day and wanted peoples opinions. If you were asked by the Police to provide or find evidence that would incriminate enemy’s of the movement, i.e. Leftists, reds, anarchists. Would you do it? Would you ‘rat’ or ‘narc’ on the Left side?” (January 2, 2012)

As with many other participants in the white nationalist movement, we have found that Christensen also has a history of domestic violence.

In other creepy news, Christensen works with children. Unbelievably, Christensen worked in childcare at the Portland Jewish Academy in 2006. Christensen also worked at Square Gator Inc., an after-school program provider for children, in 2010. This is quite disturbing given his extreme racist views, such as those expressed on Stormfront: 

“My boss signed me up for a Teacher’s conference this weekend and I was really excited to go. I love learning new things, especially things I can take into the classroom. But when I read the statement [from] the Keynote Speaker I was instantly disappointed [due to its multicultural message]... There is a large population of muslim children in my school and I know children there have trouble staying/being white. Now we are supposed to further push white children and their culture to the back to make way for even MORE cultural diversity and awareness? I am not so optimistic right now.” (November 4, 2010)

What Do We Mean By "Fascism"?

Competing with the Left

Fascism is not a danger because it is ruling class policy or is about to be adopted as policy. Not even because it could have major influences on this policy. Nor is it a danger because of the "rahowa," racial holy war, that is advocated by some fascist factions. The policies of official capitalism carried out through the schools and the criminal justice and welfare systems are both a far greater and a more immediate threat to the health and welfare of people of color than fascist instigated racial attacks and their promotion of racialist genocide. The real danger presented by the emerging fascist movements and organizations is that they might gain a mass following among potentially insurgent workers and declassed strata through an historic default of the left. This default is more than a possibility, it is a probability, and if it happens it will cause massive damage to the potential for a liberatory anti-capitalist insurgency. The left had better begin to deal with the fact that issues that are regarded a part of our movement; "globalization," working class economic demands, "green" questions, resistance to police repression etc. are now being organized by explicit fascists and others who might as well be. Nor do we have a patent on decentralized direct action. That is exactly what the fascist debate around "leaderless resistance" is about. Finally, the question of who and what, exactly, is anti-capitalist remains very much unsettled. The assumption that in fighting fascism we would automatically enjoy majority support has crashed -- just look at India or Austria right now. As has the delusion that fascism built its movements solely on bigotry and violence. Even the Nazi movement not only strongly manipulated themes of social justice and restoring civic order, but built its mass base by a grassroots network of fighting squads, self-help groups and social services. What fascists did crudely in 1930 is being done in a much more sophisticated way today -- as we can see in the Muslim world. We forget that fascism has always been mainly a movement of the young. That many youth in 1930s Germany viewed the Nazis as liberatory. As opposed to the German social-democrats, for example, who preached the dutiful authority of parents over children, the Hitler Youth gave rebellious children the power to keep their own hours, have an active sex and political life, smoke, drink and have groups of their own. Wilhelm Reich pointed out long ago that fascism in practice exposed every hypocrisy and internal cultural repression of the old left. (Sakai, "The Shock of Recognition")

While it intensifies oppression and murderously attacks the left, fascism also appropriates leftist anti-elitism in distorted form. In place of a structural analysis that focuses on dismantling systems of power, fascists portray evil elites as an insidious cultural or racial threat to be purged. For example, fascism attacks bourgeois values and "parasitic" business elements (sometimes, but not always, defined as Jewish) while defending the underlying institutions of private property and class exploitation. Historically, this approach has enabled fascism to tap into real social grievances, such as those of some middle-class groups who resent the power of big business but also have a stake in class privilege and feel threatened by working-class movements or oppressed communities below. Totalitarian mass politics

Fascism doesn't just terrorize and repress. It also inspires and mobilizes large masses of people around a vision of collective rebirth in a time of crisis. Building a mass movement outside traditional channels is central to fascism's bid to win state power. As a regime, fascism uses mass organizations and rituals to create a sense of participation and direct identification with the state. Fascism celebrates the nation, race, or cultural group as an organic community to which all other loyalties must be subordinated. In place of individual liberties or social justice, fascism offers its followers a culture of action, virility, heroic sacrifice, cathartic public spectacle, and being part of a vast social organism. I think many people look at fascism and say, "What a load of crap. How could anyone really believe that stuff?" Even many antifascists look at the fascist movement as a joke, violent, but a joke. No doubt the fascist movements have their share of the knuckle-draggers, idiots, and the politically inept, but don’t all movements have these types? I would actually say that in a real fascist movement, the more inept and foolish would be eliminated from the ranks. Fascism prides itself on ability, commitment, and sacrifice.



Fascist movements of the past were popular because they offered a total ideology with accompanying programs for action. Millions embraced fascism not because these people were stupid but because fascism provided a vision for social transformation amidst a time of international crisis. Fascism was able to mobilize masses of people.



I think this is important. The perspective I hold essentially sees fascism as a real movement of ideas that can draw people in and motivate them. Revolution

[B]y "revolutionary" the left has always meant overthrowing capitalism and building a socialist or communal or anarchist society. Fascism is not revolutionary in that sense, although it may use those words. Fascism is revolutionary in a simpler use of the word. It intends to seize State power for itself. Not simply to sit atop the old pile, but in order to violently reorder society in a new class rule. One cannot read "The Turner Diaries" seriously or understand Timothy McVeigh's politics (he was slaughtering the federal government not the Black Radical Caucus) without facing this. The old left propaganda that fascism is "a tool of the ruling class" is today just a quaint idea. (Sakai, "Shock of Recognition")

Fascism overthrows old political elites and sweeps away established forms of political rule. It posits society as an organic hierarchy and rejects the Enlightenment principles of pluralism, equality, and individual rights. In the name of a fascist cultural revolution, it tries to reshape all institutions to embody a unified ideology imposed from above. Some kinds of fascism go further and revolutionize the socioeconomic order, too, as when German Nazism restructured the industrial heart of Europe with a system of exploitation based largely on plunder, slave labor, and genocidally working people to death. People of color and the global south

Two points: First, there is a real potential for working relationships and alliances between white fascist movements and various nationalist and religious tendencies among oppressed peoples. In no way does this potential involve the denial of the reality of white supremacy and racial and national oppression. It only means that the left cannot count on the responses to this pattern of oppression, privilege and domination fitting into its neat and comfortable categories.

Second, there is no reason to view fascism as necessarily white just because there are white supremacist fascists. To the contrary there is every reason to believe that fascist potentials exist throughout the global capitalist system. African, Asian, and Latin American fascist organizations can develop that are independent of, and to some extent competitive with Euro-American "white" fascism. With the failure of State socialism and national liberation parties in the capitalist periphery, in the Third World, the far right including fascism is grasping at the leadership of mass anti-colonialism. Mass movements based in religious fundamentalism and various types of warlordism exist everywhere in the third world. They often have anti-capitalist features and frequently these have a quasi-fascist aspect. This should not be surprising. The crumbling structures of the national liberation states and the fragmented and demoralized elements of the communist movements in these areas are more likely to be fertile grounds for fascist development rather than a force against it. The foreign control of capital, labor, and commodity markets distorts the development of parliamentary and trade union traditions. The form of global capitalism that dominates in the periphery of the world capitalist system is not healthy terrain for the reformist leftism that predominates in capital’s historic center. Men and women

[Fascism] exults in the violent military experience that is said to be "natural" for men, while scorning the soft cowardly life of the bourgeois businessmen and intellectuals and politicians….

It was early 18th century euro-capitalism itself that first redefined women not as free citizens and "not as patriarchal property of individual men, but as a natural resource of the nation-State". Fascism exalts this, and makes of women a semi-slave resource of the State restricted to the margins of an essentially male society.

One part of this discussion is whether political movements or social phenomenon can be said to have gender. Yes, fascism appeals to women as well as men. Yes, Nazism owed much to German women, no matter how unwilling feminists now are to admit that. But we have said "men" so often when discussing fascism because we are being literal. It is a male movement, both in its composition and most importantly in its inner worldview. This is beyond discrimination or sexism, really. Fascism is nakedly a world of men. In an emerging fascist culture, the traditional forms of oppressing women become exaggerated beyond the point of recognition. The patriarchal nature of fascism places women in a particular class, or sub-class. Women become mere property, dominated and exploited by a male authority.

But herein lies the contradiction…. A fascist movement will draw its strength from both men and women. Hitler's rise to power wasn’t merely the work of stormtroopers in the streets, it was made possible by the mass support of women. Hitler promised the creation of a cultural value system in which the contributions of "Aryan" women to the fascist German society would simply be child rearing and care of the home and hearth. A new proletarian slave class of gypsies, Jews and North Africans -- made up of men, women and children -- would handle the work previously done by "Aryan" women. While all far-right movements are male supremacist, they embody a range of doctrines and policies on women and gender issues -- including some drawn from the left and even feminism. (Lyons, "Notes on Women and Right-Wing Movements")


Capitalism

Fascism grows out of the masses of men from classes that are abandoned on the sidelines of history. By transforming men from these classes and criminal elements into a distorted type of radical force, fascism changes the balance of power. It intervenes to try and seize capitalist State power -- not to save the old bourgeois order or even the generals, but to gut and violently reorganize society for itself as new parasitic State classes. Capitalism is restabilized but the bourgeoisie pays the price of temporarily no longer ruling the capitalist State. That is, there is a capitalist state but bourgeois rule is interrupted. The new fascism is, in effect, "anti-imperialist" right now. It is opposed to the big imperialist bourgeoisie (unlike Mussolini and Hitler earlier, who wanted even stronger, bigger Western imperialism), to the transnational corporations and banks, and their world-spanning "multicultural" bourgeois culture. Fascism really wants to bring down the World Bank, WTO and NATO, and even America the Superpower. As in destroy. That is, it is anti-bourgeois but not anti-capitalist. Because it is based on fundamentally pro-capitalist classes.

Fascism, in this slowly accelerating global crisis of transformation, believes in what we might call basic capitalism, o.g. capitalism. It is the would-be champion of local male classes vs. the new transnational classes. Enemy of emigrant Third World labor and the modern supra-imperialist State alike, fascism draws on the old weakening national classes of the lower-middle strata, local capitalists and the layers of declassed men. To the increasing mass of rootless men fallen or ripped out of productive classes -- whether it be the peasantry or the salariat -- it offers not mere working class jobs but the vision of payback. Of a land for real men, where they and not the bourgeois will be the one's giving orders at gunpoint and living off of others. (Sakai, "Shock of Recognition")

In or out of power, fascism is not a capitalist puppet but an autonomous force, whose agenda sometimes clashes with capitalist interests in important ways. Business support was crucial to both Italian and German fascists in their drives for power, and they in turn aided big business by smashing the labor movement, imposing top-down stability, and promoting centralization of capital. But as these fascist regimes consolidated themselves, big business increasingly lost political control: it lost the power to determine the main direction of state policy. In Germany, the Nazi program of conquest and genocide simply overrode capitalist priorities -- such as exploiting scarce skilled workers instead of slaughtering them -- even if big industrialists made millions along the way. Transforming class society

While usual classes are engaged in economic production and distribution, fascism to support its heightened parasitism is driven to develop a lumpen-capitalist economy more focused on criminality, war, looting and enslavement. In its highest development, as in Nazi Germany, fascism eliminates the dangerous class contradiction of the old working class by socially dispersing & wiping it out as a class, replacing its labor with a new unfree proletariat of women, colonial prisoners and slaves. The "extraordinary" culture of the developed fascist State is like a nightmare vision of extreme capitalism, but the big bourgeoisie themselves do not have it under control. Fascism de-proletarianized Aryan society. Or to put it more precisely: it created an Aryan society that had never existed before by de-proletarianizing and genociding the former German society. The Nazis pursued Adolf Hitler's evolving strategy, which was to simultaneously promote both techno-industrial development and the Aryan re-organization of classes. If it is the superior race man's destiny to be both a fierce soldier and ruler over others -- as the Nazis held in a core belief -- then how can this superior race man at the same time be packing groceries for housewives at the supermarket or bucking production on the assembly line?…. By the millions, newly Aryanized men were shifted into military & police service and into being supervisors, office workers, foremen, straw bosses and minor bureaucrats of every sort. The new proletariat that started emerging was heavily made up of involuntary foreign & slave laborers, retirees, and -- despite Nazi ideology about women's "natural" place in the kitchen and nursery -- women. The German left communist, Alfred Sohn-Rethel… thought that the German fascist state and society were developing features that foreshadowed a new "transcapitalist" exploitative social order. The most important of these features was fascist labor policy where, in significant areas of the economy the distinctively capitalist difference between labor and other factors of production was obliterated. Labor, not just labor power, was consumed in the process of production just like raw materials and fixed capital. The implications are barbaric and genocidal and genocide was what occurred. But this was not the genocidal aspect of continuing primitive accumulation that is a part of "normal" capitalist development. That type of genocide is directed mainly against pre-capitalist populations and against the social formations that obstruct the creation of a modern working class and the development of a reservoir of surplus labor. The German policy was the genocidal obliteration of already developed sections of the European working classes and the deliberate disruption of the social reproduction of labor in those sectors -- all in the interests of a racialist demand for "living space." Classical versus neo-fascism

Classical fascism took shape in an era of European industrialization and nation-building, competing colonial empires, and an international Communist movement inspired by the recent Bolshevik Revolution. Now both old-style colonialism and state socialism have almost vanished, while corporate globalization is shifting industries across the world and reshaping nation-states. Far-right movements are responding to these changes in various ways. They promote nostalgia for old empires but also right-wing anti-imperialism, old-style nationalisms but also internationalist and decentralized versions of authoritarian politics. They tap into a backlash against the left but also grow where the left’s weakness has opened space for other kinds of insurgent movements. And they promote different versions of anti-elitism, often targeting U.S. or multinational capital but sometimes focusing more on local elites. (Lyons, "Two Ways of Looking at Fascism")

Woman And Her Girlfriend Beaten In Homophobic Attack

The two women clutched each other, pinned against a car by as many as 10 men who taunted them for being gay and took turns punching and kicking them on the dark street.

“It was punches, kicks, everything being thrown at us,” said one of the women, 23. “We just held each other until somebody said, ‘Here come the police.’ ”

Police have labeled the attack a hate crime and have charged one man so far. The rest remain at large.

The attack occurred late Saturday night as the women walked down North LeClaire Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

A man they knew from the neighborhood started following them, the woman said. Earlier that night, the couple had passed him as he stood with other men. As has happened before, the woman's masculine dress prompted anti-gay slurs, she said. The woman's girlfriend, 25, told the men to stop, in vain, the woman said.

Now, as the man followed them, he kept shouting slurs and daring the woman to fight, she said. “Tell your b---- to stop looking at me,” the man told the woman's girlfriend, whom he knew from high school.

The woman said she did her best to ignore him but he kept following. Her girlfriend tried to reason with the man, asking him to leave the couple alone, the woman said.

But then a second man came up, cursing both of the women, and the first man took a swing and punched the woman, she said. The couple said they fought back and other men quickly joined in, dragging the women apart.

The couple struggled to get back together, pressed against a car as the beating continued and no one came by to help, the woman said. “I didn’t think we were going to make it out,” she said.

Finally, one of the men said the police were coming. The attackers, laughing, fled in one direction and the women went the other way. Both women had lost their shoes in the scramble, and someone had ripped one of the victim’s shirt off. The men stole their phones and cash.

No officers arrived, and the couple ran back to the woman's building and asked a neighbor for a phone to call for help. Bruised and bleeding from the nose and mouth, the woman said she passed out and woke up as paramedics were working on her in an ambulance.

At the hospital, doctors took a CT scan of her head and X-rays of her ribs and legs, she said. They found swelling but nothing broken. Her girlfriend was not as seriously injured.

Terry Glover, 24, of the 0-100 block of North Parkside Avenue, has been charged with two counts of felony hate crime and two counts of felony robbery. He is being held on $1 million bail. Police said they are still looking for the others.

The woman said she has left the neighborhood.

“It really shouldn’t matter who I like or who I love,” she said. “I should be able to walk the streets wherever I want to go and talk to whoever I want to talk to.”

Dale Duncans Swastika Flag Spurs Anger And Debate In An Elkhart Apartment Complex

ELKHART — Two small U.S. flags sprout from flower pots outside an apartment.

Hank Stow, a woman who lives at Walnut Hills, used to occasionally fly a large U.S. flag from her balcony, sometimes a Notre Dame flag. Not anymore.

After a neighbor flew a Nazi flag, causing a minor uproar, managers of the apartment complex cracked down on such expressions. No matter the flag’s colors, tenants can’t fly anything from their balconies. Thus Stow’s limited to the two small flags, flying discreetly from the flower pots on the floor of her second-floor balcony.

She betrays no hint of resentment. But ask her about Dale Duncan — the neighbor who unfurled the Nazi banner on April 15, the day of the Boston Marathon bombing, and May 27, Memorial Day — and she exclaims loudly.

“He put that ... flag up and was laughing,” Stow said, seated in a recliner adjacent to the balcony, the exterior of Duncan’s unit visible across the street, the TV set tuned to a medical advice program. “I hollered from right here. I said, ‘Mr. Duncan, you need to take that flag in.’”

Duncan didn’t, of course, and the sight of a large red flag with a black swastika in a white circle
caused an uproar. People in cars stopped, gawked, took pictures, Stow said. Duncan — whose garb consists of Civil War-era attire — sat there on his porch, for at least a time, taking it all in, the flag rippling.

“He had it right over the (balcony) railing and it was just flying everywhere,” Stow said. Duncan, she added, tipped his hat “like a crazy person” when she hollered at him.

Speaking from his small, neat apartment, Duncan decried what he sees as an infringement of his free speech rights — the subsequent crackdown on flags. A Nazi flag and Adolph Hitler picture decorate one wall inside, a map of the Interurban Trolley public transportation system hangs from a closet door. A purple box of raisin bran sits atop the refrigerator.

“A couple of neighbors, they weren’t violent, but they called the office and they complained and now nobody can fly a flag,” Duncan said, clad in gray wool pants and suspenders that mimic the garb Confederate soldiers wore. He had called The Elkhart Truth to report the situation.

Still, he doesn’t report any plans to fly the Nazi flag outside again, much as he’d like to. He hints at concerns about getting the heave-ho from his apartment, one of a couple hundred or so units at the Walnut Trails complex in eastern Elkhart.

“Course my flag doesn’t talk. But it brings out volumes,” Duncan said.

The former farm hand and military veteran who now relies on disability checks to get by said he identifies with a Detroit-based group called the National Socialist Movement, has been drawn to the cause since he was 21.

Should Duncan have to put his flag in the closet? Does he deserve attention? Should he and his message about racial superiority be ignored, kept in the dark, under a rock?

That red, black and white flag — the same as used in Hitler’s Germany — was hard to miss for those living around him who saw it. It’s hard not to talk when it’s right there. And the calls came in. Walnut Trails reps won’t go on the record, but the phone rang, people complained. The callers weren’t happy.

Stow, who hails from Myrtle Beach, S.C., and speaks with a southern lilt, said some didn’t know what to make of the flag. Especially when Duncan brought it out the day of the Boston bombing, which spurred widespread alarm across the nation, speculation about terrorists. He also flew it on Hitler’s birthday, a few days later.

A provocateur?

A kook about to go off the deep end?

A violent racist?

“They was scared. They didn’t know what was going on,” said Stow.

Walnut Trails management reacted. They contacted Duncan, he said, and posted reminders around the complex about rule No. 9 in the standard lease agreement. No flags, period.

Apartment officials can’t be accused of singling anyone out, attacking any particular message. Just keep your balconies clear of any and all banners. It’s about keeping things tidy, preventing showdowns between competing messages.

“Notice effective immediately! Flags and or banners are not permitted to be hung from the windows, balconies or patios as stated in your Lease Agreement,” the reminder reads. It continues: “There are NO EXCEPTIONS.”

So who is this guy?

Duncan is 59 and worked maybe 10 years as a hired help on a Wakarusa-area dairy farm, until about a year and a half ago. He talks of previous stints in Chicago and Virginia and said he previously served in the U.S. Marines and the Indiana National Guard.

He plans to run for mayor of Elkhart in 2015, though he doesn’t seem to be that familiar with the actual chief executive, Dick Moore. Just thinks running the city would be a good job.

While he’s talking, an African-American woman walking past his ground-floor apartment outside — a neighbor — pauses and looks in through the sliding door that connects to his small outdoor patio. They exchange a few pleasantries.

“Well I hope everything’s going all right,” she says before walking off.

Even Stow doesn’t think Duncan is totally a bad sort, necessarily.

“I get along with him,” she said. “When I see him out there I say, ‘Hi Mr. Duncan. How are you doing?’”

Duncan dismisses talk of hate, violence, white supremacy. Philosophically, his thrust is against communism, he maintains.

But there’s a strong dose of anti-Semitism and he casually uses racial and ethnic epithets.

“National socialism is against communism, not Jews. But too many Jews was in the Communist Party,” he said.

He’s a Holocaust denier, thinks different races of people should stick to themselves, shouldn’t mix. Asked if he thinks whites are a superior race, he doesn’t answer directly, but maintains that white Europeans are responsible for more inventions than others. He doesn’t hate anyone, he maintains.

“Whatever you do in the paper, do not refer to me as a white supremacist. Do not refer to me as a hate mongerer,” he said.

Still, there’s the big red Nazi flag, a symbol for genocide, hatred, anti-Semitism, racism. He sometimes even wears a Nazi armband. It’s hard to soft-pedal your views when you use the swastika as shorthand for your belief system. And for many, most probably, it’s no ice breaker for reasoned political discourse.

People sometimes flip him off when he wears his armband.

He was at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs health clinic in Goshen recently when he got in a confrontation with a man offended by the armband swastika. Same thing happened with a woman in a grocery store here.

“She said I was repugnant,” Duncan said. “I called her a communist as she went out the door.”

Fascist And Pro-Rape Musician Boyd Rice Smoked Bombed At Empty Bottle Show

We had no reason to assume the show wasn't shut down; the smoke bomb went off, the venue was evacuated, there was no music playing, and someone at the empty bottle told a fan "were done for the night". Regardless of how they responded to the incident, the Empty Bottle hosted a racist and pro rape musician and may have possibly allowed the show to continue after the smoke bomb incident. Former Rice partner Lisa Crystal Carver's memoir "Drugs Are Nice" (Snowbooks, London 2006) provides an outline of the time she spent living with and financially supporting Boyd Rice. In her graphic account of their shared lives together Carver recalls how Rice was jailed for assaulting her. Carver finally concludes that Rice, is an alcoholic failure and an 'unemployed fascist'. Before and to an extent even after Carver came along, Rice depended on financial handouts from his mother. In her memoir Carver describes the fascist emblems with which her partner decorated their flat “ A giant Nazi flag is taped to the wall. Right next to the Tomorrowland Disney poster..." (page 146).

Rice’s mistreatment of Carver included physically restraining her and subjecting her to regular beatings and floggings. Carver, despite her growing fear of Rice, stayed with him for the sake of their baby until, in an alcoholic rage, he smashed her head against a nightstand until she became unconscious. This led to Rice’s arrest, trial and imprisonment.

Rice does not conceal his hatred of women. As revealed in this quote from Misanthrope:

‘Back to the rumours. Are you a misogynist? "Yeah." Rice nods fervently for the record. [Laughs.] "Yeah, more and more all the time." What makes you feel that way? "Just a lot of experience with women. I don't think women deserve the same rights as men. I don't think women are on an equal footing with men. I think they're totally different creatures. I think the world operated better when they had less say over how the way things went, had less control." And regarding his piece "R.A.P.E.", which is appallingly pro-rape but allegedly tongue-in-cheek: "I was poking a bit of fun, but it's like there's more than a grain of truth in everything I said in there. I think all the stuff I said was basically true. Which is why it's funny when it's funny. And it's why it upsets women, when it upsets women. Because, you know, they can't really deny most of that stuff. " "Well that's why when women start having these intellectual arguments with me I say at a certain point, "Listen, I refuse to even argue with a woman." They say, "Well, why is that?" and I say, "Because you overreact, you get all emotional, and fly into a tizzy."

Rice was also close to Church of Satan founder LaVey, and rumoured to be a member of its "Council of Nine" and to have initiated others into it. Rice regularly visited convicted murderer Charles Manson (who had ordered his followers to murder actress Sharon Tate amongst others) and organized a campaign to free him. Through Manson, the group came into contact with James Mason, former member of the American Nazi Party and the National Socialist Liberation Front, currently a member of the Universal Order, which views Charles Manson as the next Hitler. Rice was also a member of the neo-Nazi American Front and was very close to its president, Bob Heick.

This photograph was additionally published in the book 'Blood in the Face: The Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nations, Nazi Skinheads, and the Rise of a New White Culture' by James Ridgeway.

Heick was influenced by the racist National Front in 1980’s Britain. Indeed Heick’s group was unique in that it advocated a "third positionist" ideology combining both racism and a right-wing ‘cultural’ ‘war of position’. The American Front led a nationwide rally December 9, 2006, on behalf of incarcerated members of The Order, a 1980s white supremacist terrorist group. While the largest gathering occurred in southern California, several banners describing Order members as "prisoners of war" were found around Orlando and Maitland.

Heick was present at an event, "8/8/88," that Rice explained "was a recapitulation of a destruction ritual that Anton LaVey performed on August 8, 1969." It was shown on Geraldo Rivera's "Satanism" special. Perhaps not coincidentally, the eighth letter of the alphabet is H, and 88 is considered by some to signify the words "Heil Hitler."

Walt Kaldenberg is another associate of Rice still actively engaged in promoting race hatred. Going public on the online pages of Amazon.com in the course of reviewing Kevin Coogan's book 'Dreamer of the Day: Francis Parker Yockey and the Postwar Fascist International'. Kaldenberg writes, 'about 70 or more of the people in the book I know or have known. Every one from the little old lady who got Rockwell into National Socialism and her husband...to Keith Stimely who about force fed me Yockey, and Boyd Rice who played a part in my wedding. It's like reading a high reunion letter'.

Kaldenberg is also the author of the notorious article, 'Death Of The White Race', in which he claims that ' I don't know, nor do I care, how many Jews died in the Holocaust. If Hitler did kill six million Jews, I won't lose any sleep over it. The Jews have been kicked out of nearly every civilized nation on Earth. If the Jews weren't so evil, people wouldn't kill them. If any one is to blame for anti-Semitism, Hitler, and the Holocaust, it's the Jews.'

Rice was interviewed in 1986 by the white supremacist leader, Tom Metzger of White Aryan Resistance. In it he was asked whether industrial music is the "beginning of an Aryan underclass movement." A London concert Wakeford’s band gave in 2006 was according to a blog posting attended by Troy Southgate (another former National Front activist and Neo-Folk musician and more recently founder of the English Nationalist Movement and the National Revolutionary Faction; Southgate describes the latter as "a hardline revolutionary organisation based on an underground cell-structure similar to that used by both the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the IRA", operating on the principle of leaderless resistance. Racist Frat Prank At U Of C In Chicago

A fraternity at the University of Chicago is under fire after pulling a stunt on an African-American mail carrier that has been decried as both racist and homophobic.

U.S. Postal carrier Iran Becton told the Sun-Times members of the university's Phi Delta Theta fraternity had him "needlessly" drag more than six dozen postal supply boxes to the chapter's house in the 5600 block of South University Avenue.

“About a week after Memorial Day, I had an order to bring 79 of the boxes," Becton said. "I came to the address and explained to the frat member that I would have a lot more supplies. I went back to the truck for the boxes about six or seven times. After the last trip, one of the frat guys came out and said it was a practical joke. Another guy said that I should read the name backwards and I’ll get the joke.”

According to CBS Chicago, the name on the order was “Reggin Toggaf;” read backwards, the first name is a racial slur and the last name is a slur for gay men.

Becton said he felt insulted "humiliated" and wants an apology; the Chicago Division Postal Inspection Services is reportedly investigating and mail delivery to the Phi Delt house has been suspended until they issue a written apology to Becton. The Sun-Times notes in addition to the impact on Becton, the prank involved "the abuse and possibly the destruction of postal property," which is a criminal offense.

Ironically, the incident came just days after the university hosted a diversity initiative for which the school's paper, The Chicago Maroon, reported "anti-racism activist and writer Tim Wise spoke about the ignorance of dominant social groups as a persistent problem in America and the University of Chicago community."

The Phi Delt prank wasn't the first time a U of C fraternity has been accused of being insensitive and offensive. In 2012, the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity drew criticism for its depiction of Latinos and a planned "Conquistadors and Aztec Hoes" theme party, according to United Press International.

Fraternities and sororities around the country seem to earn another racially or culturally insensitive embarrassment each semester; in February, Duke University's Kappa Sigma fraternity drew fire for an "Asia Prime" party .

Later the same month, Washington University in St. Louis' Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter was suspended for an incident involving pledges who allegedly sang racial slurs to black students.

State Leader Chris Rothe Resigns. Illinois NSM's Latest Incarnation Fractures As Soon As They Began

After a few antifascist attacks against Chris Rothe, including a flier drop at his place of business and his neighborhood,  he has resigned from the National Socialist Movement, giving up his chosen role as state leader. A major factor that led him to make this decision was not only the attacks but the lack of support from the NSM after the attacks occurred. Though this does not necessarily mean Chris isn't a nazi, he is no longer affiliated with that  particular organization. Since they have lost supporter William Kennedy, as well as members Suzan Lenner, Billy Woods, and the hated and proud skins, for the same reason, the NSM is left without a functional chapter in Illinois.

There were rumors going around that the NSM hoped to host the conference in Chicago next year, but with their Illinois unit in shambles, we seriously doubt that. It appears that Missouri or Texas is the likely location for the NSM 2014 conference.

Brian Moudry Sentenced To Ten Years

At around 2:15 PM, Brian Moudry walked into court at the Dirksen Federal Building for his sentencing. The back of his head read "Blued eyed Devil". Not a single supporter was present aside from his mother. Moudry has been locked up for a year awaiting sentencing. During this time, he has gotten into two altercations: On April 12, 2013, Moudry assaulted another inmate using a combination lock in a sock as a weapon. The staff person, who submitted the report, stated that Moudry was observed striking the victim in the head several times with a lock in a sock. The victim attempted to distance himself from inmate Moudry who continued to pursue the victim and then began to throw food trays toward him and other inmates. According to the incident report, “at no time did the victim attempt to fight back. During the assault, Moudry shouted, “Yeah, I’m a white motherfucker from Chicago, motherfuckers! Fuck all of yall!" On March 8, 2013, Moudry was in a physical altercation with another inmate. According to a memorandum pertaining to the altercation, staff responded to an alarm triggered due to two inmates fighting. The other inmate involved in the altercation stated that Moudry approached him and said, “who do you think you are the police, you don’t give me any orders about making my bed.” The inmate further reported that when he turned his back, Moudry “proceeded to pick up a broom and tried to hit him with it.” According to the report, the other inmate turned around to defend himself, Moudry dropped the broom, and they began to exchange punches until ordered to stop fighting. According to the memorandum, Moudry reportedly stated that “I got into a fight and that’s all I’m saying.” Judge Robert Gettlemen told Moudry that he is "Lucky the fire went out" and said otherwise it would have weighed on his conscience. When asked if Moudry had anything to say, Moudry replied "No". From there he was sentenced to the statutory maximum of 120 months (with the ability to be reduced by 15%) and owes  restitution in the amount of $1708.32. The Judge acknowledged the defenses request for substance abuse and mental health treatment (Due to a long history of mental health issues such as schizophrenia) and recommended a facility closest to Chicago that could meet that recommendation, while also maintaining the appropriate security level. 


The Incident:

On June 17th 2007 Brian Moudry, Marcin Golebiowski (3847 N Pontiac Ave Chicago, IL), and Daniel E Marlin were drinking in Brian Moudrys garage at 304 s Reed st in Joliet, IL.  At around 5am, Police were called to the scene of a crime a few houses south of Moudrys at 318 s Reed st by an eye witness claiming to have seen a man with an orange shirt and blue jeans walking northbound with a tank of gasoline after splashing gasoline on the north side of the residence. The residence was being rented by a black family and had inside eight children–ranging from four to fourteen years of age. The officers, familiar with Moudry and his white supremacist views, went to Moudrys house shortly after and seen the garage door open with candles on. Inside was Golebiowski and Marlin. Moudry was not inside at this time. Oddly enough, Golebiowski matched the description and was pointed out by the wtiness. Golebiowski was placed in custody and Daniel Marlin was brought down to the Joliet police dept for investigation. Both Marlin and Golebiowski told investigators that Moudry used the word "nigger" several times in reference to the new neighbors at 318 Reed st.

Ultimately, on March 10th, 2008, the Will County States Attorney’s Office somehow dismissed the charges against Golebiowski. Moudry was then charged in a three-count indictment. On January 18, 2013, Moudry pled guilty to Count Two of the Indictment which charged him with the use of fire in the interference of another occupying a dwelling because of the occupant’s race, in violation of Title 42, United States Code, Section 3631(a). Moudry was a member of the Creativity Movement (TCM), formerly known as the World Church of the Creator (WCOTC), and got his first white pride tattoo at the age of 14. According to reports, around 4am Moudry went and tried to set the house on fire from the south side of the residence. After Moudry returned to his garage he bragged “I did it, I did it, I set that fucking house on fire.” Moudry then realized that the fire he set had extinguished. He returned to the residence, poured more gasoline on a north-facing exterior wall of the residence and ignited a second fire. While there, a 14-year-old girl who lived in the home observed the fire and went outside the residence to investigate. The girl saw tsomeone holding a red can near the corner of the house. After igniting the second fire, he returned home briefly. At gunpoint, a witness drove Moudry from the residence to another area of Joliet.  Moudry then took numerous actions to destroy evidence from the arson, including disposing of the gas can, his clothing and cleaning the vehicle in which he and the witness rode in. Moudry then attempted to provide an alibi for himself by purchasing food with a credit card at a Dunkin Donuts.

Our Conclusion:

Regardless of our opinion towards the fascists, South Side ARA won't be applauding this sentence. Groups like the SPLC  may wish for prison time, but unlike them we don't see prison as the answer. Nor do we see all prisoners as scum. We wish not to have other inmates subjected to Moudry antics. We don't wish for our friends, family, and comrades who are incarcerated, to be hit in the head with locks by white supremacist. We would rather see Moudry on the streets receiving "justice" at the hands of anti-fascists. It is true that we did not prevent this arson attempt but neither did the state. Instead, the state has allowed Moudry the ability to organize with white supremacy gangs behind the wall. On the streets of Chicago, at this point in time he wouldn't be so capable.

Exposing NSM Illinois State Leader Chris Rothe

Update 6/13/13: After a few antifascist attacks against Chris Rothe, including a flier drop at his place of business and his neighborhood,  he has resigned from the National Socialist Movement, giving up his chosen role as state leader. A major factor that led him to make this decision was not only the attacks but the lack of support from the NSM after the attacks occurred. Though this does not necessarily mean Chris isn't a nazi, he is no longer affiliated with that  particular organization.

Chris Rothe is the Illinois State leader of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), the largest neo nazi organization in the United States, The NSM may be a joke in some regards but they have more than one murder on their hands. Chris lives in Naperville, is a foreman at a construction company (United brotherhood of carpenters and joiners local 1889 - 28600 Bella Vista PKWY Warrenville, IL 60555, (630) 821-7932), and used to be a member of the notorious neo-nazi group known as the National Alliance (NA). Chris claims that he once got a guy laid off based on the fact that he was black and says that he hopes to one day start his own company in which he will only hire white people.  Although Chris may not be attending or hosting many events that we know of, he does believe in a violent race war in which "blood has to be spilled". For all of these reasons, we believe Chris Rothe is someone worth paying attention to.

Meet Odinist, Juggalo, And Former NSM Member Billy Woods

Billy Woods is a National Socialist and Odinist from Decatur, IL. He first came across our radar after discovering that he was part of the NSM's Illinois unit months back. Since then, it is believed that he has left the NSM, and is not in good standing. Regardless, he still remains a nazi. South Side ARA has had a busy year. This zine is a taste of some of the people we pay attention to, actions we’ve participated in or support, and ideas at the forefront of militant anti-fascism, from April 2012 to April 2013. This is our 4th annual zine and we hope you’ll copy, distribute, and talk about what’s in here. More importantly, we hope you’ll watch out for those people outed in here and start acting, as you can, to fight fascism, racism, sexism, anti-semitism, islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, capitalism, and all oppression.

This zines content is extremely similar to three before it, except this issue also contains a somewhat large portion that relates to the militant disruption of a white supremacist event in Tinley Park, IL last May by antifascists. This incident led to the arrest and imprisonment of five antifascists known as the "Tinley Park 5",  or the "TP5". The zine features the original communique, attendee information, private email correspondence, theoretical analysis of the incident, and support info for the Tinley Park 5.

The NSM Hit Twice. 2013 National Conference Disrupted By Antifa

Update 4/19/13: Since we first posted this, we have gotten 4 confirmations that the hotel asked the NSM to leave. If this is true, thank you to everyone for successfully shutting down their 2013 national conference!

The National Socialist Movement (NSM) planned to hold their annual conference and rally this year in Atlanta, GA. The conference portion was to take place at the same place they were staying at; the Wellesley Inn Hotel (1377 Virgina ave Atlanta, GA), booked under the "Richard Wight group". In 2011, Anti- Racist Action showed up to their conference in Pemberton, NJ and a fight involving 20 plus people ensued. Several nazis in the NSM were hospitalized with antifa suffering only minor scratches. Now, for the second time in 3 years, ARA and other antifascist comrades found their meeting location and disrupted it.


After intercepting private conversations between NSM members, ARA put together a country wide phone jam involving many antifascist and radical organizations. At around 6pm the calls came in hard and folks raised their concern over the neo nazi conference taking place at the Wellesley Inn.  Meanwhile, according to a posting on Atlanta indymedia, some anonymous ATL antifascists rushed the hotel smashing  NSM South Carolina member Richard Wight's car.

On April 19th, Atlanta antifascists descended upon the Wellesley Inn Hotel, where the  neo nazi group known as the National Socialist Movement was holding their annual conference. We smashed every window and a tire of their member Richard Wight's car. We did this to disrupt their conference, avert their attention off of the conference, to hit them monetarily, and show them that there will always be consequences for fascist organizing.

At first, upon receiving the concerned calls, the hotel seemed concerned, but soon enough they made a pathetic attempt at denying the NSM's presence. Eventually, the hotel claimed they asked them to leave! Thank you to every single person who helped with the phone jam.

direct result of antifa harassment, the NSM made it a goal to quietly build a strong and active Illinois unit. The NSM thought they were doing pretty well in their efforts, with Buddy Rumble being the lead coordinator from the outside.

The truth is however, that one of their younger members turned informant for antifa after being contacted weeks prior to the conference. The Hated and Proud Skins were to pick up our mole late Thursday night for the conference, but according to an email, were instead "ambushed by antifa, leaving their car unable to make it to the meeting". Chris Rothe apparently was unable to make it to the meeting as well. This means, that not a single member of the Illinois NSM made it to their failed national conference.

Infiltrated: The American Nazi Party In Illinois

The ANP are a "Political-Educational Association" group led by Rocky Suhayda (38564 Scott Dr Westland, MI 48186-3854 Age: 55-59 rsuhayda@att.net). This group claims George Lincoln Rockwell as their founder, but there is no real connection to the original ANP or its successor organizations. The ANP are most recently known for coming out in support of the occupy movement, and sending their political advisor; John Taylor Bowles, to speak at high schools such as Worthington Kilbourne High School (1499 Hard Road Columbus, OH 43235(C) 614-403-8843) in which a faculty member named David Strausbaugh actually invited him.

The ANP have also recently added a "non-aryan sympathizer page" to their website. This is a page for non-whites who want to support the ANP. Of course being a member and attending events as a non-white person is still not allowed. This effort on the ANP's part to find token supporters for their cause is not unheard of and has been used before by white supremacists to gain validation and legitimacy for their ideas. The reality is that fascism and neo-nazism are not an answer to class exploitation. In reality the fascists will only divide the working class further by entrenching nationalism, white supremacy and xenophobia,  and have historically attacked leftists, immigrants, and labor unions for their roles in undermining their nationalist ideology. Furthermore, the ANP may be critical of capitalism but are not genuinely interested in destroying it or living in a classless/stateless society. Instead they want a world that recreates capitalism and the state ran by, and for, their master race.

There have been a few on-line attacks against the ANP including one on Bowles days before prior to their annual xmas together in NC that exposed the leadership of the ANP,  released personal details on Bowles, and made available juicy private conversations between Bowles and several others.

In Illinois, some antifascists infiltrated the organization, and have learned quite a bit about the ANP, specifically the Illinois unit. Thanks!

Recruiting:

After contacting the ANP, as an interested Illinois based individual, we were put in touch with the Security Division/Illinois unit leader, Paul Kozak. After a few emails and a phone call Paul sent us to meet at Louisa's pizza, a favorite for the Illinois ANP. Paul was a strange man with no social skills. He was a grumpy man who thought very highly of himself. Paul claims he is a private investigator with 15 years military experience.

Along with Paul was his right hand man Tony Ptak. Tony is from Lombard, IL and claims to sell autographs of sports memorabilia through ebay and out of his house. (indistinguishable tattoo on left forearm and another on left hand of a small cross)Tony was a more sociable, friendly character who did 6 years in prison for armed violence and aggravated battery after bashing and then stabbing Dennis Lindsey with a bottle on September 18, 1987. Tony claims that while in prison, he made a relationship in prison with Clark Martell, the one time leader of the now extinct CASH crew. They warned us that there was someone in the parking lot keeping watch and Tony claimed that he(Tony) was "packing", but after hearing their supposed stance on guns and violence who knows what he was packing or if he was at all . We sat down and spoke for a while about what the ANP is, What they do and what they don't do. Here are some of the things we have learned from our conversation.


Membership:

Although the ANP claim to have 200 people, Paul claims to only know of 30 full members. Women are NOT allowed for full membership. They can only be financial supporters.  The way that you become a patched in member and move up in the ranks is by bringing in two people. It seems that the Illinois unit only have 3-5 members with Paul and Tony being the main players.

Violence:

They consider themselves to be very legalistic. They do not condone even discussing violence.  In their eyes, anyone who discusses violence is an informant. They do not do arms training.

Meetings:

Illinois meetups happen in Dixon, IL through a guy named Tim and are at most, two times a year. Outside of that there are no formal meetings. Anytime a few members get together, it is considered to be a "meeting". The annual Christmas party used to happen at the redneck shop, which is no longer ran by racists. There is also a national ANP meeting every year in Michigan, where their leader Rocky Suhayda is from.

Allies and enemies:

The ANP are allies with no one. They hate all other organizations especially the NSM. They say that the ANP "cares about every one of their members unlike other groups".

During the tasty dinner date, in which they paid for, Paul and Tony were also very adamant about not dressing like a skinhead. They want members to be clean cut and normal looking, aside from at get togethers where they wear nazi uniforms.

After the first meeting Paul stepped out of the picture and handed off responsibility to Tony. Tony attempted to schedule informal meet ups and  provides you with literature which you are expected to distribute. Literature distribution seems to be the only thing the ANP does outside of their own circle of elitist nazi fucks.

Douvris Brothers Charged With Hate Crime In Attack On Cabbie In Lincoln Park

Two brothers were charged with a hate crime after attacking a cabdriver and chasing him down a Lincoln Park street while calling him a "stupid f-----g Asian," authorities said.

William and Spiro Douvris beat, robbed and shouted slurs at the cabbie Tuesday night after becoming enraged when the driver took them to the wrong address, prosecutors said.

The victim, 24, said Wednesday he was frightened during the incident on the North Side and is glad the two men were charged with a hate crime.
"They were trying to beat me," he said in an interview with DNAinfo.com Chicago, asking not to be identified. "I was afraid."

According to Assistant State's Attorney Erin Antonietti, the cabdriver picked up the men and then pulled over to drop them off in the 3200 block of North Geneva Terrace. But the brothers said that was the wrong address and demanded he take them to the 2200 block of North Geneva Terrace, Antonietti said at a bond hearing Wednesday.

When the cab arrived at the second address, the two brothers became "angrier and started calling the victim a stupid Asian," Antonietti said.
William Douvris, 24, of Kildeer, jumped out of the back seat when the driver stopped near Schubert and Halsted streets, according to court documents. He opened the front passenger side door and hit the cabbie in the shoulder four times before punching the rearview mirror, prosecutors said.

His brother Spiro Douvris, 22, who lives in Barrington, then jumped out and flung the driver's door open, according to the documents. The younger brother hit the man in the chest twice and grabbed two cellphones that belonged to him, prosecutors said. He also hurled one of the phones at the driver's head, the documents said.

Witnesses said they saw the Douvris brothers chase the driver around the cab and down the street while shouting slurs at him, the records state. One witness tried to break up the "fight," and police were called at about 9:30 p.m., prosecutors said.

When the men were arrested a short time later, police recovered the cabdriver's other cellphone. Police also said the brothers had $3,000 in cash.

In his two years driving a cab, the victim said he has experienced nothing even close to what happened to him Tuesday.

"Generally, people in Chicago are nice, except on the weekends when they tend to get drunk," he said.

The driver said he was not hurt too badly and now was feeling "fine."
In addition to the hate crime charges, the two brothers each face charges of battery and robbery. William Douvris also was charged with criminal damage to property for allegedly breaking the rearview mirror.

Cook County Judge Edward Harmening set bond for both men at $50,000.
The brothers' parents, who attended the bond hearing, declined to comment after court.

An attorney representing the brothers said they have no criminal record, and they work together at Zippy's Pizza in the suburbs, where Spiro Douvris is CEO.

According to the Illinois Secretary of State website, the business license for Zippy's Pizza has been dissolved. A website for the restaurant also was shut down.
