The Autumn Steam Gala in 2013 for the West Somerset Railway was to take on the theme of the Cambrian Railways on the Welsh Coast. As with previous events the railway renamed all stations to names that can be found along the route of the cambrain, most notable is Minehead being renamed as Pwllheli which was one of the termini of the Cambrian System, the other being Aberystwyth.
