საქართველოს პრემიერ--მინისტრი ირაკლი ღარიბაშვილი ევროპის რეკონსტრუქციისა და განვითარების ბანკის მმართველ დირექტორს ოლივიე დეკამის შეხვდა. შეხვედრას გაცნობითი ხასიათი ჰქონდა და მასზე განხილული იყო ევროპასთან ურთიერთობის გაღრმავებისა და ევროპული ინვესტიციების მოზიდვის საკითხები. EBRD-ი საქართველოში ამ ეტაპზე დაახლოებით 1.8 მილიარდ ევროს ინვესტიციას ახორციელებს, საიდანაც ფინანსდება 150--მდე პროექტი, უმეტესობა დაფინანსებისა კი კერძო სექტორზე მოდის. ოლივიე დეკამი არის EBRD-ში საქართველოსთან მიმართებაში ზოგადი პოლიტიკის განმსაზღვრელი უმაღლესი პირი, ის ევროპის რეკონსტრუქციისა და განვითარების ბანკში თურქეთის, აღმოსავლეთ ევროპის, კავკასიისა და ცენტრალური აზიის ქვეყნებს კურირებს.

The role of private sector investment in food security is being increasingly emphasized worldwide. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which has had a cooperation with FAO since 2002, launched its Private Sector for Food Security Initiative (PSFSI) in 2011 to encourage and advance private sector participation to achieve higher food production through technical assistance, policy dialogue and direct financing. The FAO Investment Centre has supported this Initiative through technical assistance, facilitation of public-private policy dialogue, value chain analysis to guide investment decisions, and the management of the EastAgri and MedAgri information-sharing networks.

Danas je u općini Gradačac potpisano Mandatno pismo između Evropske banke za razvoj (EBRD) i općine Gradačac. Potpisivanju ovog pisma prethodilo je odobrenje EBERD-a i Odluke Općinskog vijeća o davanju prethodne saglasnosti na kreditno zaduženje općine kod EBRD-a za realizaciju projekta vodosnabdijevanja južnog dijela općine Gradačac.
Radi se o kreditu sa rokom otplate 15 godina uz grejs period od 3 godine sa povoljnom kamatnom stopom za infrastrukuru od 6 miliona eura i donatorskim sredstvima u iznosu od 2 miliona eura.
Predstavnici EBRD-a istakli su, da su na osnovu analize dokumentacije, ovaj projekat sa projektom sanacije prečistača otpadnih voda i dijela sekundarne mreže u prioritetu planova za ove investicije u 2014. godini
Realizaciju ovog projekta i kredita vršit će se standardnim postupkom EBRD-a , koji podrazumijeva zaključenje ugovora sa državom Bosnom i Hercegovinom i otvorenog postupka nabavki uz superviziju konsultanta koje angažuje EBRD.
Općinski načelnik mr.sci Edis Dervišagić upoznao je visoku delegaciju EBRD-a, o dosdašnjim aktivnostima na pripremi realizacije ovog projekta od ideje, interesa građana, izrade projektne dokumentacije, odlukama Općinskog vijeća i upoznavanja organa FBiH i BiH o ovom visokoprioritetnom projektu.
Općinski načelnik izrazio je zadovoljstvo u ime građana općine Gradačac da je ova institucija prepoznala i prihvatila zahtjev za učešće u realizaciji istog.
Predstavnici EBRD-a u pratnji Općinskog načelnika sa saradnicima obišli su lokaciju postojećeg prečistača otpadnih voda.
Općina Gradačac na osnovu odluke Općinskog vijeća uputila je zahtjev Federalnom ministarstvu finansija, radi dalje procedure po ovom projektu, kao i pristupila rješavanju imovinsko-pravnih odnosa po Odlukama Općinskog vijeća o utvrđivanju javnog interesa.
Očekivati je, da će se u prvoj polovini 2014. godine potpisati konačni ugovor i pristupiti realizaciji ovog najznačajnijeg projekta na općini Gradačac.

Realizaciju ovog projekta i kredita vršit će se standardnim postupkom EBRD-a , koji podrazumijeva zaključenje ugovora sa državom Bosnom i Hercegovinom i otvorenog postupka nabavki uz superviziju konsultanta koje angažuje EBRD.
Općinski načelnik mr.sci Edis Dervišagić upoznao je visoku delegaciju EBRD-a, o dosdašnjim aktivnostima na pripremi realizacije ovog projekta od ideje, interesa građana, izrade projektne dokumentacije, odlukama Općinskog vijeća i upoznavanja organa FBiH i BiH o ovom visokoprioritetnom projektu.
Općinski načelnik izrazio je zadovoljstvo u ime građana općine Gradačac da je ova institucija prepoznala i prihvatila zahtjev za učešće u realizaciji istog.
Predstavnici EBRD-a u pratnji Općinskog načelnika sa saradnicima obišli su lokaciju postojećeg prečistača otpadnih voda.
Općina Gradačac na osnovu odluke Općinskog vijeća uputila je zahtjev Federalnom ministarstvu finansija, radi dalje procedure po ovom projektu, kao i pristupila rješavanju imovinsko-pravnih odnosa po Odlukama Općinskog vijeća o utvrđivanju javnog interesa.
Očekivati je, da će se u prvoj polovini 2014. godine potpisati konačni ugovor i pristupiti realizaciji ovog najznačajnijeg projekta na općini Gradačac.

Founded in 1991, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) uses the tools of investment to help build market economies and democracies in 30 countries from central Europe to central Asia. Its mission was to support the formerly communist countries in the process of establishing their private sectors. By the seventh meeting, representatives of 40 nations and two European institutions had reached agreement on the bank's charter, its initial size,and the distribution of power among shareholders.
Headquartered in London, the EBRD is now owned by 63 countries and two intergovernmental instituitions. Despite its public sector shareholders, it invests mainly in private enterprises, usually together with commercial partners.
EBRD provides project financing for banks, industries and businesses, both new ventures and investments in existing companies. It also works with publicly owned companies to support privatization, restructuring state-owned firms and improvement of municipal services.
