Why am I seeing a pop up when I try to log in?

We have responded to our members' feedback to continue to improve the Eureka Report offer. So, we now have a financial services license. This means we are able to provide our members with general advice and recommendations. For our current members this is at NO additional cost to their paid up subscription. All you need to do is read and accept the terms and conditions of the license and continue on to the site.

What kind of financial services does Eureka Report offer?

ASIC authorises Eureka Report to carry on a financial services business to provide general financial product advice in the following classes of products;

  • Deposit and payment products - Basic deposit
  • Deposit and payment products - Non-basic
  • Direct deposit and payment products - Non-cash
  • Payment derivatives
  • Government debentures, stocks or bonds
  • Managed investment schemes, including IDPS
  • Retirement savings account products
  • Securities
  • Superannuation
  • Standard margin lending facility

What do I do if I don't want to accept the Terms and Conditions of the Financial Services Guide?

What do I do if I have a complaint about the general advice Eureka Report has given me?

You will need to lodge your complaint in writing by sending an email to info@eurekareport.com.au or call us during business hours. Your issue will be reviewed in line with the requirements of our license and a response will be provided in the specified timelines.

How do I log in?

You’ll notice the log in panel is at the top right hand corner of the site, consistent with many other sites and applications that you probably already use.

Help! I still can't log in... 

Sometimes you may experience issues logging in to the report. This can be due to your internet browser history can easily be fixed by clearing your cookies.

You can clear your history and cookies in your internet browser; below are links that explain how to do this in different browsers. Just click the relevant browser link below applicable to you (i.e. what browser you are currently viewing Eureka Report in)

How can I find the section/author/article I’m looking for?

We have recently improved the search function so when you enter a search term, all the current and past articles, tools and information relevant to that term will display. you can further refine your search using the options that are displayed to the righ hand side of your search results page.

Where is the Latest Edition?

The Latest Edition is located on the homepage when you log-in to the website.

How do I find an archive or chronological list of articles?

To see the Chronological list of all Eureka Report articles please select the 'read more articles' option below the most recently published section on the home page. From here you will be able to narrow you search by using tick boxes on the right hand side of the page.

How can I find all the articles by a particular contributor?

Go to “The team” menu in the top navigation on the home page and click on the contributor of your choice.  All the articles by that contributor will then be displayed, along with a brief biography.

How does the navigation work?

You can access all your topics of interest from the top navigation bar.

“Investing topics”: we’ve grouped all the sector information under the first drop down menu;

“Portfolios”: now includes a new model portfolios section alongside the personal portfolios of Alan Kohler and James Kirby;

“Market reports” largely replaces Markets in our previous navigation;

“EurekaTV” replaces Interactive in our previous navigation, and you’ll find a new series of Inside Line videos in this section;

“Events” showcases current and future events of interest to you, like this year’s inaugural Eureka Congress.

Will I have to log in every time I visit?

No.  The first time you visit the site you will need to log in, select the "remember me" option for the site to remember your password. Once you have done that the first time, the site will remember you (as long as you have cookies enabled). 

Do I need a username and password?

Yes, all members need a username and password to access content on this site.

Where are Letters to the Editor?

The Letters to the Editor section is accessible from the home page.  The link is on the right hand side of the home page, about half way down, under “Kohler’s Graphs”.

What happened to my Thursday “Weekly PDF Review” email?

The Thursday “Weekly PDF Review” will now be included in Alan’s Weekend Briefing, emailed on Saturday mornings.

As a subscriber to I get access to Alan’s Weekend Briefing and other Eureka emails?

Yes. Your Monday, Wednesday and Friday email updates are sent straight to your inbox.  Your Thursday “Weekly PDF Review” is now included in Alan’s Weekend Briefing, emailed on Saturday mornings. Links in your emails will take you directly to the article of interest, and the home page will also have a link to Alan’s Weekend briefing.

What is the Joint Venture product you are involved in, and is this a publicly listed company now?

The joint venture partners are listed companies – Clime as owner of MyClime is an ASX listed company ( ASX code CIW), and Eureka Report as a subsidiary of New Ltd is part of the Newscorp group ( ASX code NWS). The Joint Venture entity is called Stocks In Value

I am paid up to Eureka Report and/or also to Clime. Does this mean I get a reduced fee for being on both now?

In the future we will indeed be offering you bundled versions of the products with attractive price positions - stay tuned

As a current member of one/both products what is the impact on me as a result of this joint venture?

As a member of one or both products, the venture will not impact you directly today – you will continue to receive all the reports and information you currently enjoy. The aim is to give you more, under the terms of the JV,  we are committed to developing the stock valuation service  offering – and we have a whole range of modifications and updates that will be released over the coming months.
