Police hunt robbery suspect

POLICE are hunting down the suspect in a robbery incident inside a chicken outlet Thursday on Bacaca Road, Barangay 19-B Poblacion, Davao City.
San Pedro police identified the victim as Florence Alonzo Erracho, 27, employee of the chicken outlet Chooks-To-Go of Catalunan Grande, while the suspect was identified as Elizalde Narca Wabina, 22, and a resident of R. Castillo St., Barangay San Antonio, Agdao.
Investigation conducted by San Pedro police revealed that while the victim was waiting for customers around 7:40 p.m. the suspect appeared at the store and introduced himself as a finance officer of the company.
But when Erracho allowed Wabina to enter the store, the latter pulled out a bladed weapon, pointed it at the victim and declared a heist.
Erracho was forced to give in P10,700 worth of sales to the suspect. The suspect wounded Erracho on his arm before fleeing onboard a motorcycle.
The victim reported to the San Pedro police and was able to identify the suspect through the rogue gallery of the police.
As of this posting, San Pedro police is conducting a manhunt operation for the apprehension of the suspect and the possible recovery of the stolen cash.
