The game is the ninth edition of the long-running WWE SmackDown vs. Raw (later renamed to simply WWE) video game series based on the professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It is the sequel to 2006's WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007, succeeded by WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, and is the first WWE game to include the promotion's ECW brand. It is also the first WWE game to be available for all seventh generation game consoles.
Each wrestler now has two fighting style categories, one primary and one secondary. Each fighting style has its advantages and disadvantages in each particular match type. There are eight styles altogether: high-flyer, hardcore, submission artist, powerhouse, showman, brawler, dirty and technical. In addition, creative manager of THQ Cory Ledesma stated early in production that he planned on having numerous wrestler animations redone.
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 is a professional wrestling video game released by THQ and developed by Yuke's Future Media Creators. The game is based on the professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It is the eighth installment of the WWE SmackDown! series and is the successor to 2005's WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 and was succeeded by WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. On March 31, 2006, THQ, Yuke's and WWE officially confirmed the game. The game was released in November 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 consoles and in December 2006 for the PlayStation Portable system.
The game introduced a few key new features including an analog control system, interactive hotspots, and fighting within the arena crowd. The game also included several improvements on the previous game's existing match types and modes. The Xbox 360 version was the first game in the SmackDown series to be published on a seventh generation video game console and the first SmackDown game to be released on a Microsoft console. It is also the first game in the series to be released outside the PlayStation consoles.
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke's and published by THQ for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Wii, and Xbox 360 video game consoles. It is the tenth video game in the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw (later renamed to simply WWE) series, and is the sequel to its 2007's predecessor, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 and is succeeded by 2009's WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010.TOSE oversaw development for the Nintendo DS version. The game was released on November 9, 2008 in North America.
The video game is based on the professional wrestling promotion, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and is named after the promotion's two brands, Raw and SmackDown. The game introduced a few key new features including the Inferno match, a revamped tag team match, and four new game modes: Create-a-Finisher, Road to WrestleMania, Career and multiplayer season.
The Road to WrestleMania (RTWM) mode debuted in this game, replacing the popular Season mode from previous games. It was then featured in every new game in the series as well as WWE '12, before it was removed for WWE '13. This mode allowed the player to play through personalized storylines for John Cena, Triple H, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, and a tag team storyline for Batista and Rey Mysterio.
A top is a toy designed to be spun rapidly on the ground, the motion of which causes it to remain precisely balanced on its tip because of inertia. Such toys have existed since antiquity. Traditionally tops were constructed of wood, sometimes with an iron tip, and would be set in motion by aid of a string or rope coiled around its axis which, when pulled quickly, caused a rapid unwinding that would set the top in motion. Today they are often built of plastic, and modern materials and manufacturing processes allow tops to be constructed with such precise balance that they can be set in motion by a simple twist of the fingers and twirl of the wrist without need for string or rope.
The motion of a top is produced in the most simple forms by twirling the stem using the fingers. More sophisticated tops are spun by holding the axis firmly while pulling a string or twisting a stick or pushing an auger. In the kinds with an auger, an internal weight rotates, producing an overall circular motion. Some tops can be thrown, while firmly grasping a string that had been tightly wound around the stem, and the centrifugal force generated by the unwinding motion of the string will set them spinning upon touching ground.
A top is clothing that covers at least the chest, but which usually covers most of the upper human body between the neck and the waistline. The bottom of tops can be as short as mid-torso, or as long as mid-thigh. Men's tops are generally paired with pants, and women's with pants or skirts. Common types of tops are t-shirts, blouses and shirts.
The neckline is the highest line of the top, and may be as high as a head-covering hood, or as low as the waistline or bottom hem of the top. A top may be worn loose or tight around the bust or waist, and may have sleeves or shoulder straps, spaghetti straps (noodle straps), or may be strapless. The back may be covered or bare. Tops may have straps around the waist or neck, or over the shoulders.
In mathematics, the category of topological spaces, often denoted Top, is the category whose objects are topological spaces and whose morphisms are continuous maps or some other variant; for example, objects are often assumed to be compactly generated. This is a category because the composition of two continuous maps is again continuous. The study of Top and of properties of topological spaces using the techniques of category theory is known as categorical topology.
N.B. Some authors use the name Top for the category with topological manifolds as objects and continuous maps as morphisms.
Like many categories, the category Top is a concrete category (also known as a construct), meaning its objects are sets with additional structure (i.e. topologies) and its morphisms are functions preserving this structure. There is a natural forgetful functor
to the category of sets which assigns to each topological space the underlying set and to each continuous map the underlying function.
Resolvins are dihydroxy or trihydroxy metabolites of the polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, primarily eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) but also docosapentaenoic acid (DPA). These metabolites have been shown to be made by the cells and tissues of various animal species and humans. Resolvin (or Rv) metabolites of EPA are termed E resolvins (RvEs), those of DHA are termed D resolvins(RvDs), and those of DPA are termed resolvins D (RvDsn-3DPA) and resolvins T (RvTs) (RvDn-3DPA). The EPA-derived resolvins are nonclassic eicosanoids. Certain isomers of RvDs are termed aspirin-triggered resolvin Ds (AT-RvDs) because their synthesis is initiated by aspirin-acetylated COX2 to form 17(R)-hydroxy rather than the more classical 17(S)-hydroxy resolvins whose synthesis is initiated by lipoxygenases; however, an as yet unidentified cytochrome P450 enzyme(s) also forms this 17(R)-hydroxy intermediate and thereby contributes to the production of AT-RvDs. Resolvins are members of an expanding family of polyhydroxylated polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) metabolites named "specialized pro-resolving mediators" (SPM). In addition to the resolvins, SPM include lipoxin, maresin, and protectin D1 (also termed neuroprotectin) metabolites of arachidonic acid (for lipoxins) or DHA (for maresins and protectins) as well as more recently defined and therefore less fully studied metabolites of the omega-3 PUFA isomer of DPA, 7Z,10Z,13Z,16Z,19Z-docosapentaenoic acid (clupanodonic acid) and the metabolites of the N-acetylated fatty acid amide of the DHA metabolite, docosahexaenoyl ethanolamide. SPM form during the later stages of inflammatory responses, have various, often complementary anti-inflammatory, and are thought to be key mediators in resolving these responses. The putative anti-inflammatory effects of dietary omega-3 fatty acids such as fish oil, it is suggested, are due to the conversion of EPA, DHA, and/or DPA to resolvins.
Oh hey guess who is back talking about WWE games again. We are now on to WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008. SVR 2008 is a game that was released back in November of 2007 featuring stars like John Cena, Undertaker, CM Punk etc. Out on the PS3 and XBOX 360 in FULL HD. It was highly anticipated for various reasons. To me though I just wanted Jeff Hardy, but how would the game follow up SVR 2007 such a beloved game? Was it even possible? Well the game came out to mixed reviews, but die-hard fans were not fans. However, time has passed and its 2020 and 12 years later, how does this game hold up? It can’t be THAT bad right? Let’s take a look. Twitter.com/WrestlinGifs Instagram.com/WrestlinGifs
