AdyaShakti and the Three Bija Mantras
The Great Goddess as AdyaShakti creates the Three Shaktis : MahaSarasvati, MahaLakshmi and MahaKali from the sound of the three bija mantras : ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं (aim hrim klim) and assigns to them their powers of creation, preservation and destruction in relation to the three gunas : white sattva, red rajas and black tamas.
ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चे ॐ
The three aspects of AdyaShakti become the Shaktis of the Trimurti : Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.
.:.
In the Devi Bhagavata Purana, the Goddess states in front of the Trimurti that :
I am Adi Parashakti, Goddess Bhuvaneshvari.
I am the owner of this universe.
I am the Absolute Reality.
I am dynamic in feminine form and static in masculine form.
You are three parts of me.
You all are my partial expansions.
You have appeared to govern the universe under my jurisdiction.
You are the masculine form of Absolute Reality, while I am the feminine form of that Reality.
I am beyond form, beyond everything, and all the powers of God are contained within me.
You will admit that I am the Eternally Limitless Power.
I shall now assign each of you a task.
She then commanded :
Brahma ! You will be generator of the universe; the Goddess Sharada is your Shakti, my form by which I will be recognized as the Goddess of Wisdom and the primeval sound.
Lord Brahma, this Goddess will be with you when you create the universe.
She continued :
Lord of Lords, Narayana !
You are the Supreme, Immortal Spirit.
You are formless, yet you take form.
I assign you to be the preserver of the universe.
You will take a different incarnation in order to save this universe's inhabitants.
Oh Narayana !
You are the Supreme of all the deities with form.
You have created Lord Brahma, and Brahma will further create thirty-three-thousand other gods and goddesses.
My Great Power, Goddess Mahakali, has been born from your mystic sleep.
You are the Paramatman.
Your consort will be Goddess Shri, who is none other than the incarnation of my light, as without light, one can neither see nor be seen.
When life evolves, you will take the form of Vishnu, the one who will perform the task of observing and preserving this universe.
Oh Lord Rudra, the Greatest God, you are the personification of time, which is above all.
You will perform the task of destroying and regenerating this universe.
When you are formless, time stands still.
It is due to my power that you become dynamic and are capable of bringing about the destruction and regeneration of this universe.
Your consort is Goddess Mahakali, but due to meditation, you will be able to surpass all of my forms.
It is then that I will incarnate from your left half in my manifested form.
This form will be my truest manifested form.
Lord Shiva, She will perform the task of destroying evil and will be your consort.
.:.
Aum Shakti is used to describe the name of the Goddess when She is without attributes.

Guru Poornima (25th July 2010)
GURU BRAHMA GURU VISHNU GURU DEVO MAHESWARA
GURU SAKSHAT PARA BRAHMA THASMAI SRI GURAVE NAMAHA
"Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu, Guru is Maheswara
Consider Guru as your everything. All are embodiments
of Divinity. In fact, all that you see is nothing but the
Divine Cosmic Form (Viswa Virat Swarupa)"
Guru Poornima is the full moon day in the month of ‘Ashada’, the fourth month in the Indian lunar calendar, corresponding to end of June or early July. It is also called ‘Vyasa Poornima’, as this full moon day marks the birthday of the great sage Veda Vyasa, who categorized the vast body of Vedic knowledge in to the four Vedas – Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva. Even the writing of the eighteen Puranas (ancient Hindu legends) was completed by him on this day.
“The term ‘Guru’ means one who dispels the darkness of ignorance. ‘Gu’ means one who is beyond attributes (or gunas), ‘ru’ implies one who is beyond forms (rupa). This refers only to God. That is why the Guru is hailed as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva (the holy trinity of Hindu belief). Only God is the true Guru. All others are merely teachers, like the teachers of different subjects in a college. ‘Guru’ is the one who reveals the guri (target) to the disciple. ‘Guri’ here refers to the Atmic Principle (the principle of the self)”.
- Sathya Sai Baba
Discourse: 20th July, 1997
"Guru is Brahman. He is the Creator; He Himself is the creation and He is the One that exists in the creation. The universe is filled with Brahman. It becomes clear that the One who Himself has become the universe is the Guru.
Guru is Vishnu. Who is Vishnu? Vishnu is one who has the quality of pervasiveness. He is the Doer and also what is done. The universe is the action, God is the Doer. God is the consciousness behind the cause and effect. The whole universe is the form of Vishnu. This Vishnu is the Guru.
Guru is Maheshvara. Who is Maheshvara? He is the one who rules all beings in the Universe. He commands and ordains everything in the universe in the right manner. Sun-rise and Sun-set go on according to His command. Seasons, rain, the day and night are His commands. Eeshvara is one that makes everything--follow its discipline without any lapse. Guru is not one who merely teaches. A Guru is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, He is God himself.
Gurupuurnima means full moon without any defect or lacuna. Moon is nothing but mind. When the mind is completely perfect, it sheds light. Gurupuurnima is not performed by circumambulation and offerings to the Guru. What is the real offering? It is the offering of one's love. To know that God exists everywhere is circumambulation. If you understand these terms, everyday is Gurupuurnima. There is only one Guru, that is God and there is no other Guru. Contemplate on that Guru." - Sathya Sai Baba

Little Krishna Part 2
Krishna stories childhood in Vrindaban.
The Tenth Canto of the holy purana Srimad-Bhagavatam tells the story of Krishna's appearance and activities in this world. Hindus all over the world celebrate the birth of Krishna, as it is described in these ancient scriptures. Srila Prabhupada wrote the Krishna Book, a summary study of the Tenth Canto, which includes all these stories and more.
The Advent of Lord Krishna
Krishna was born in a tense historical period preceeding a devastating war. The warring factions built up so many weapons that the burden on the earth became unbearable. Finally the goddess of Earth took the form of a cow and prayed to Lord Brahma for relief. Lord Brahma called all the demigods to the shore of the Milk Ocean to hear Mother Earth and to worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Vishnu. Lord Brahma fell into trance reciting the Vedic hymns known as the Purusa-sukta and heard the voice of Lord Vishnu. Then he announced, "O demigods, hear from me the words of God. He is aware of the distress on Earth and wants you demigods to incarnate as sons and daughters in the Yadu dynasty. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna, will personally appear as the son of Vasudeva. Therefore you will all have the benediction of joining the eternal pastimes of Lord Krishna."
Lord Brahma consoled the cow and sent her home, then returned to his planet, Brahmaloka. The demigods then began to take birth in the Yadu dynasty, awaiting the appearance of Lord Krishna. The members of the Yadu dynasty, headed by Vasudeva and Devaki, along with their friends, relatives and well- wishers were all demigods. The residents of Vrindavana, headed by King Nanda, Queen Yasoda and Queen Rohini, were also demigods.
King Kamsa was another relative in the family, however he was not a demigod. He usurped the throne of his father, Ugrasena, and put him in prison. When Devaki, a member of Ugrasena's family, married Vasudeva, she received a large dowry of elephants, horses, chariots and servants. After the wedding, Kamsa took the reins of the wedding chariot and started to escort the couple home. Along the way, a voice from the sky addressed him: "You foolish king, the eighth son of Devaki will kill you!"
Kamsa pulled Devaki down by her hair, drew his sword and prepared to kill her on the spot, but Vausdeva begged for his bride's life and promised to let him kill the eighth child, so that the oracle would not be fulfilled. Kamsa agreed to spare her life, but locked Vasudeva and Devaki in a stone prison. Thereafter, he mercilessly killed the first six sons of Devaki. Devaki's seventh son miscarried but mystically transferred to the womb of Queen Rohini in Vrindavana. This became Krishna's older brother, Balarama. Soon thereafter, Devaki became pregnant with her eighth child.
