Kam Air (Persian: کام ایر‎) is an airline headquartered in Kabul, Afghanistan. It operates scheduled domestic passenger services and regional international services. Its main base is Kabul International Airport.

The airline was founded on 31 August 2003 by Zamari Kamgar and was the first privately owned passenger airline in Afghanistan. Its first flight operated on 8 November 2003 between Kabul, Herat and Mazari Sharif with a Boeing 727. Kam Air's first plane was provided by General Abdul Rashid Dostum as payment for supplying Dostum’s army with fuel and food.

Kam Air had announced launch of European operations from August 2010, with Vienna coming online first and then London (Gatwick), but according to a Reuters news report, both were supposedly cancelled by British and Austrian authorities due to aircraft safety issues after a few flights .

Effective 24 November 2010, all Afghan carriers were banned from flying to the European Union.

It has its headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan, opposite to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China. At one time it was headquartered in the Kabul Business Centre in Shah-e-Naw, Kabul. As of 2012 a ticketing office is at the Kabul Business Centre.

Kam (from Sanskrit kama) meaning deep desire, uncontrolled longing, concupiscence, sensuality or lasciviousness is counted among the five cardinal sins or sinful propensities in Sikhism. In common usage, the term stands for excessive passion for sexual pleasure and it is in this sense that it is considered an evil in Sikhism.

The Gurus rejected lust. Yet they recognized the four purusarthas, referred to in gurbani as char padaraths or the four human pursuits as the Granth Sahib declares "Dharma, Artha, Kam and Moksha follow God's devotee like shadow" (SGGS 1320). However, in Sikhism, Kam is not unrestricted gratification of carnal desires, but an impulse which needs to be kept under check like other impulses and passions. Unrestrained propensity towards Kam, especially sexual relationship outside the marital bond, is condemned in the strongest terms in Sikh codes of conduct as well as in the Scripture. It is a destructive evil and a deadly sin. Kam is heavily discouraged as it "can build barriers against God in their lives".

Haroon Tanha (Persian: هارون ثنها‎ - Hāroon Tanhā; 6 September 1981), is a singer-songwriter from Afghanistan.

Tanha was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. He attended Abdul Hadee Dawee high school and in 1996 left Afghanistan post-graduation. He lived in Russia and Ukraine prior to moving to Belgium where he studies Business. His debut album "Sarbakhod" was released in 2006.

He can sing in Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Arabic and Russian.
