A deed is any legal instrument in writing which passes, or affirms or confirms something which passes, an interest, right, or property and that is signed, attested, delivered, and in some jurisdictions sealed. A deed, also known as an instrument in solemn form, is the most formal type of private instrument requiring not only the maker of the deed (grantor, transferor) but also attesting witnesses as signatories. A deed has therefore a greater presumption of validity and is less rebuttable than an instrument under hand, i.e., signed by the party to the deed only, or an instrument under seal. A deed can be unilateral or bilateral. Deeds include conveyances, commissions, licenses, patents, diplomas, and conditionally powers of attorney if executed as deeds. The deed is the modern descendant of the medieval charter, and delivery is thought to symbolically replace the ancient ceremony of livery of seisin.

The use of attesting witnesses has replaced to a large extent the former use of seals to create a higher degree of formalism; this explains the traditional formula signed, sealed and delivered and why agreements under seal are also called contracts by deed. Where the use of seals continues, deeds are nothing more than a special type of instrument under seal, hence the name specialty for a contract under seal. Specialties differ from a simple contract, i.e., a contract under hand, in that they are enforceable without consideration (i.e. gratuitous), in some jurisdictions have a liability limitation period of double that of a simple contract, and allow for a third party beneficiary to enforce an undertaking in the deed, thereby overcoming the doctrine of privity. Specialties, as a form of contract, are bilateral and can therefore be distinguished from covenants, which, being also under seal, are unilateral promises.

Marco Borsato (born December 21, 1966) is a Dutch singer. He started performing in Italian before switching to Dutch in 1994. He is married to Leontine Ruiters and has three children.

Marco was born in the Wilhelmina Hospital in Alkmaar as the son of Roberto Borsato and Mary de Graaf. He has a brother, Armando, and a sister, Sylvana. The family moved to Italy, where the father started up a restaurant in Garda. Marco spent a significant amount of time in Italy and speaks fluent Italian. In fact, Marco admitted that his Italian is much better than his Dutch.

When Marco was 12 years old he decided he wanted to be a sushi chef. Marco, though brought up with Italian cuisine, had a great love for raw fish bound in seaweed. When he was older he went to school during the week and he worked in a restaurant during the weekends. During his conscription he was bound to the cavalery, where he was conscripted as a NCO. Success stayed out after Marco Borsato won the Dutch Soundmixshow on April 6, 1990 with his rendition of Billy Vera's song "At This Moment." During that time he was indeed working as a chef.

Willemijn Verkaik (born 16 June 1975), is a Dutch singer and actress. She was born in Son en Breugel, Netherlands, but grew up in Nuenen near Eindhoven. She graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory. Since then, her various musical theatre credits have included Elisabeth,The Three Musketeers, We Will Rock You and most notably Wicked, in which she was chosen as the "Favorite Current Elphaba", among all the actresses who played the role in November 2010, in an online poll with over 16,000 voters.

Verkaik created the role of Elphaba in the Stuttgart production of Wicked, which began performances on November 1, 2007, prior to a November 15 opening night. Sabrina Weckerlin was her original alternate, appearing in the two shows a week which Verkaik was not contracted to perform. Over two years later, she played her final performance on January 6, 2010, and was replaced by her current alternate at the time, Roberta Valentini. Valentini played the part until the show's closure on January 29, 2010.

Danna Paola Rivera Munguía (born 23 June 1995), better known as Danna Paola, is a Mexican actress and singer. She is best known for playing "Patito" in Atrevete a Soñar.

Danna Paola was born in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the daughter of Patricia Munguia and Juan Jose Rivera, the former singer of Grupo Ciclón and Los Caminantes. She has an older sister, Vania Rivera Munguia.

In 1999 Televisa began a casting search for talented children to participate in the children's program Plaza Sésamo, her mom decides to take her and her sister to the casting in which both are selected. In 2000 Rosy Ocampo gives her the opportunity to participate in her first telenovela Rayito de Luz with the role of Lupita, a dreamy girl.

In 2001 at the age of six she receives her first protagonist role in the childrens telenovela María Belén, causing a great impact and is highly accepted by viewers. This telenovela allowed her to win the El Heraldo de México award as child revelation of the year. The telenovela was broadcasted in over 19 countries worldwide with great acceptance and rating, it even brought a doll with its image in Brazil. Universal Music discovers her singing talent in this telenovela, so they record her first CD, Mi globo azul which contains children songs of Cri-Cri followed by a VHS of the same name. So, thanks to her talent, Danna is given the opportunity to sing to the Pope John Paul II , with the song Mensajero de paz, which comes from a tribute album to him.

Idina Kim Menzel ( /ɪˈdiːnə mɛnˈzɛl/; born Mentzel on May 30, 1971) is an American actress, singer and songwriter.

She rose to prominence for her performance as Maureen Johnson in the Broadway musical Rent, a role which she reprised for the 2005 film adaptation. In 2004 she won the Tony Award for originating the role of Elphaba in the hugely successful Broadway blockbuster Wicked.

Menzel was born in Queens, New York. Her mother, Helene, is a therapist, and her father, Stuart Mentzel, worked as a pajama salesman. Her family is Jewish; her grandparents immigrated from Russia and elsewhere in Eastern Europe. Her family lived in East Brunswick, Somerset and Marlboro, New Jersey from when she was in kindergarten to third grade, but she considers herself raised in Syosset, New York, with her younger sister Cara. Idina changed her last name to Menzel to better reflect the pronunciation the Mentzel family had adopted in America. When Menzel was 15 years old, her parents divorced and she began working as a wedding and bar mitzvah singer, a job which she continued throughout her time at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Drama at NYU prior to being cast in Jonathan Larson's rock musical Rent. She was friends with actor Adam Pascal before they worked together in Rent.
