Plot
Hariharn Pillai is running his construction company with uncle Velappan. He constructs a house for the rich money lender Satyapalan, who doesnt pay them after completing the house. Though at first doesnt like him, Satyapalan's daughter Kavya falls for Hariharan Pillai. Pillai also has to take care of sister Latha, who is in love with Nikhil. How Hariharan Pillai sorts out all the issues and gets Kavya forms the rest of the story.

Plot
A post-master named Dilip Kumar re-locates to work in Mutharamkunnu. Once there, he sets about to meet the local residents and finds out that they are obsessed with wrestling. He meets with a proud and retired wrestler, Kuttan Pillai, and subsequently gets smitten by his daughter, Amminikutty. When he finds out that she an ardent fan of Mammooty, he lets it known that he is the latter's close friend. He intercepts her fan-mail, and even corresponds with her. Eventually she finds out and so does the rest of the town including her enraged father. Dilip attempts to flee but is prevented and must agree to wrestle in order to win her hand. Not proficient with any form of wrestling - especially with a mountain of a man, Dara Singh, - will Dilip succeed in his quest?

Plot
Dilip (Chiranjeevi) returns from America to find his father Harnatha Rao indulging in illegal activities. The story is about Chiranjeevi doing the ethical thing and bringing his father to justice. A sideshow is Rao Gopala Rao (in a very good role) is a business of Harnatha Rao partner who is trying to quell a worker's uprising in his factory. Vijayasanthi is the sister of the Union leader. Gummadi is the father of both the union leader and vijayasanthi in his usual role. Chiranjeevi's dance moves are very fluid.

Plot
This melodrama has a love triangle between Gohar/Dr. Rasik/Dilp Kumar along with a national twist. Leading a life of boredom typical of the colonized leisure class, Vinakumari (Gohar) an her lover Dr. Rasik (Bilimoria) suddenly come across a Gandhian ashram run by Dilip Kumar (Sandow) and other social workers. Vinakumari dedicates herself to the cause of the poor while the ashram faces problems: an entertainment carnival set up by urban businessmen leads the villagers into temptation, a famine breaks out and rapacious landlords, including Bakshiji (Bawa), Vinakumari's guardian, demand money. Eventually Dr. Rasik too joins the group, providing much-needed medical assistance to the workers in the disease-stricken countryside.

Veteran writer Salim Khan, whose son Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan recently buried the hatchet at an Eid party, spoke about how stars nowadays lack the courtesy that rival actors had back in the day.
At the trailer launch event of Sholay 3D, when asked about the rivalry between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Salim said, "It is not the case that Salman will celebrate if Shah Rukh Khan's film becomes a hit and nor will SRK throw a party if Salman's film becomes a hit. There can be no love between rivals, but there should be a professional courtesy. Back in the day, actors like Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Ashok Kumar had such qualities. Nowadays, the younger lot is much more intolerant and impatient."
Former rivals Salman and Shah Rukh Khan had worked in Karan Arjun and the King Khan recently claimed that he has no issues about working with Salman once more.

When landowner Jagannath Singh (Dilip Kumar) is murdered, his twin brother Amarnath Singh (also Dilip Kumar) decides to investigate, and finds the list of suspects is seemingly endless. From Jagannath's own son Amar (Mukul Dev), to his abused wife, Suman (Smita Jaykar), to the woman he raped, Yamini (Rekha) and her brother Kundan (Malay Chakravarty), there's a long list of wronged people with a reason to want Jagannath Singh dead.
A wealthy man named Jagannath Singh is shot dead in his own home by killer(s) unknown. Police Inspector Khan, who is assigned this case, finds out that Jagannath was shot at twice, one bullet killing him, and other embedded in the wall. Khan brings up this case before Judge Amarnath Singh, who is none other than the twin brother of the deceased. Both Khan and Amarnath ask all parties involved to gather together in Jagannath's palatial home, and there begins the investigation in his killing. The suspects include Yamini, a woman who claimed to have been molested and raped by Jagannath; her brother, Kundan; Suman, Jagannath's abused wife, and her son, Amar. Unable to bear the pressure, Amar confesses to killing his father, and is arrested by the police. Is Amar really the killer? Or was someone unknown involved in this killing? When landowner Jagannath Singh (Dilip Kumar) is murdered, his twin brother Amarnath Singh (also Dilip Kumar) decides to investigate, and finds the list of suspects is seemingly endless. From Jagannath's own son Amar (Mukul Dev), to his abused wife, Suman (Smita Jaykar), to the woman he raped, Yamini (Rekha) and her brother Kundan (Malay Chakravarty), there's a long list of wronged people with a reason to want Jagannath Singh dead.
A wealthy man named Jagannath Singh is shot dead in his own home by killer(s) unknown. Police Inspector Khan, who is assigned this case, finds out that Jagannath was shot at twice, one bullet killing him, and other embedded in the wall. Khan brings up this case before Judge Amarnath Singh, who is none other than the twin brother of the deceased. Both Khan and Amarnath ask all parties involved to gather together in Jagannath's palatial home, and there begins the investigation in his killing. Nina is the rich and spoiled daughter of a rich businessman. One day while horse-riding she loses control of her horse and is rescued by a young man named Dilip. Dilip instantly takes a liking to her and starts to frequently visit her house where he entertains her with his singing along with Nina's friend Sheela. Nina's father dislikes this and tries to make Nina realize that spending so much time with Dilip is not wise as Dilip could misunderstand her friendship with him for love. On the day of Sheela's birthday party, Dilip realizes he has fallen in love with Nina and tries to tell her. However tragedy strikes when Nina's father dies of a heart attack that same day and this leaves Nina devastated. Dilip comforts her and tries to reveal his true feelings for her but is shocked by the arrival of Nina's fiancé Rajan who has returned from London. Dilip is shocked that Nina never mentioned that she was already engaged and in love with Rajan. Rajan and Nina eventually get married and Dilip shocks Nina when he finally reveals his true feelings for Nina on the same day of the wedding. Nina is shocked by Dilip's revelation as she only thinks of him as a good friend. This revelation causes strain in Rajan and Nina's marriage as Rajan starts to suspect whether Nina could be having an affair with Dilip and notices that Nina is acting very distant towards Dilip since the day of their wedding.

Bela prepares Ashok's meals, teases and amuses him, and imagines of a happy marriage with Ashok who likes her but is not in love with her.
Bela has competition from the wealthy landowner Jamnadas's daughter Usha, who lives a lavish lifestyle in a hilltop mansion. Usha, drives a foreign car and seems more suitable for Ashok the young postmaster. They share a love of fine art and music, and Usha falls in love with his singing and arranges for him to give her music lessons on her grand piano in a boudoir adorned with fine art. Bela, heartbroken, in a fit of jealousy intervenes by lying to Usha that Ashok has already professed his love for her and is playing a double game. In a surprising display of class-transcending understanding, Usha agrees to renounce her love for Ashok in favor of Bela's claim, and to accept a proposal from the aristocratic son of one of her father's colleagues. As Usha's wedding approaches, both she and Ashok become depressed and Bela has recurring nightmares of a black-veiled rider coming to carry her away.
Bela witnesses Usha's wedding while sitting in a tree, believing that shortly afterwards she would be married off to Ashok. But the tree branch that she is sitting on breaks and she falls to the ground, severely injured. As she is brought back to her father's home in this condition, Ashok arrives and promises her father he would marry Bela. As Ashok sits on Bela's bedside to comfort her, Bela dreams again that the black-veiled rider has come to get her and dies.

Dilip Kumar's career has spanned six decades and over 60 films. Critics acclaimed him among one of the greatest actors in the history of Hindi cinema.Dilip Kumar is the first actor to receive a Filmfare Best Actor Award (1954) and shares the record for the most number of Filmfare awards won for that category with Shahrukh Khan, (eight wins).
The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 for his contributions towards Indian cinema. He starred in films of a variety of genres such as the romantic Andaz (1949), Aan (1952), Devdas (1955), Azaad (1955),Mughal-e-Azam (1960),Ganga Jamuna (1961).
In 1976, Dilip Kumar took a five-year break from film performances and returned with a character role in the film Kranti (1981) and continued his career playing central character roles in films such as Shakti (1982), Karma (1986) and Saudagar (1991). His last film was Qila (1998). Dilip Kumar has acted with actress Vyjayanthimala the most, where they both had acted seven films together including the former's home production Gunga Jamuna resulting in great on-screen chemistry and an alleged affair between them.

When landowner Jagannath Singh (Dilip Kumar) is murdered, his twin brother Amarnath Singh (also Dilip Kumar) decides to investigate, and finds the list of suspects is seemingly endless. From Jagannath's own son Amar (Mukul Dev), to his abused wife, Suman (Smita Jaykar), to the woman he raped, Yamini (Rekha) and her brother Kundan (Malay Chakravarty), there's a long list of wronged people with a reason to want Jagannath Singh dead. A wealthy man named Jagannath Singh is shot dead in his own home by killer(s) unknown. Police Inspector Khan, who is assigned this case, finds out that Jagannath was shot at twice, one bullet killing him, and other embedded in the wall. Khan brings up this case before Judge Amarnath Singh, who is none other than the twin brother of the deceased. Both Khan and Amarnath ask all parties involved to gather together in Jagannath's palatial home, and there begins the investigation in his killing. The suspects include Yamini, a woman who claimed to have been molested and raped by Jagannath; her brother, Kundan; Suman, Jagannath's abused wife, and her son, Amar. Unable to bear the pressure, Amar confesses to killing his father, and is arrested by the police. Is Amar really the killer? Or was someone unknown involved in this killing? Biography of Dilip Kumar
Muhammed Yusuf Khan took on the name Dilip Kumar as his screen name. He was born on 11th December 1922 in Peshawar which is now part of Pakistan. He was born into a Pashtun family and was one of twelve children. One of his brothers Nasir Khan was also an actor and they worked together in Ganga Jamuna (1961) and Bairaag (1976). His father Ghulam Sarwar was a fruit merchant with orchards in Peshawar and Deolali in Maharashtra.
He started a canteen in Pune where he was noticed by the director Amiya Chakravarty. With Chakravarty and actress Devika Rani's help, he entered the film industry after changing his name to Dilip Kumar.
Dilip Kumar was involved with actress Madhubala but they had to part ways as her family was opposed to their marriage. He married actress Saira Banu who was two decades younger than him in 1966. He married a second time in 1980 to Asma but the marriage ended soon after.
Dilip Kumar has been actively involved in charity work. He has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award (1994) and Nishan-e-Pakistan by the Pakistani Government in 1998. He entered politics in 2000 and was a Member of Parliament.
Jugnu (1947) was his first major success.
He worked in several movies the following year among which were Shahid (1948), which was about India's freedom struggle and starred Kamini Kaushal with whom he was romantically linked off-screen too and Mela (1948) with Nargis. Andaz (1949) was the first and last movie in which he worked with Raj Kapoor.
1950 to 1959 The early fifties saw the release of movies like Arzoo (1950), Deedar (1952), Aan (1952) and Footpath (1953). In 1955, he commanded applause for his performance in Bimal Roy's Devdas with Suchitra Sen and Vyjayanthimala.
Naya Daur (1957) was a commercial and critical success. The movie was also in the news as the director B.R. Chopra took legal action against actress Madhubala as she was signed up as the lead but backed out when her relationship with Dilip Kumar came to an end.
1960 to 1976 Dilip Kumar's next role as Prince Salim in Mughal-e-Azam (1960) was another one of his memorable performances and the movie was one of the high grossers of Bollywood. He produced and acted in Ganga Jamuna with his brother Nasir Khan.
1981 to 1989 Manoj Kumar's Kranti was his comeback movie in 1981. It was a multi starrer with Hema Malini, Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha and Parveen Babi. It was one of the biggest movies of the eighties.
1990 to 1999 The year 1991 saw Dilip Kumar in Saudaghar with Rajkumar. The movie was about two feuding families. He was seen again in Qila (1998) which is his last movie to date. He played a negative role. The movie subsequently did not fare well.
Dilip Kumar received the Filmfare Best Actor Award for Daag, Azaad, Devdas, Naya Daur, Kohinoor, Leader, Ram Aur Shyam and Shakti. He was the first actor who won the Filmfare Best Actor Award. He also had a record number of nominations and wins. He won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1993.

When landowner Jagannath Singh (Dilip Kumar) is murdered, his twin brother Amarnath Singh (also Dilip Kumar) decides to investigate, and finds the list of suspects is seemingly endless. From Jagannath's own son Amar (Mukul Dev), to his abused wife, Suman (Smita Jaykar), to the woman he raped, Yamini (Rekha) and her brother Kundan (Malay Chakravarty), there's a long list of wronged people with a reason to want Jagannath Singh dead. A wealthy man named Jagannath Singh is shot dead in his own home by killer(s) unknown. Police Inspector Khan, who is assigned this case, finds out that Jagannath was shot at twice, one bullet killing him, and other embedded in the wall. Khan brings up this case before Judge Amarnath Singh, who is none other than the twin brother of the deceased. Both Khan and Amarnath ask all parties involved to gather together in Jagannath's palatial home, and there begins the investigation in his killing. The suspects include Yamini, a woman who claimed to have been molested and raped by Jagannath; her brother, Kundan; Suman, Jagannath's abused wife, and her son, Amar. Bela, heartbroken, in a fit of jealousy intervenes by lying to Usha that Ashok has already professed his love for her and is playing a double game. In a surprising display of class-transcending understanding, Usha agrees to renounce her love for Ashok in favor of Bela's claim, and to accept a proposal from the aristocratic son of one of her father's colleagues. As Usha's wedding approaches, both she and Ashok become depressed and Bela has recurring nightmares of a black-veiled rider coming to carry her away. Bela witnesses Usha's wedding while sitting in a tree, believing that shortly afterwards she would be married off to Ashok. But the tree branch that she is sitting on breaks and she falls to the ground, severely injured. As she is brought back to her father's home in this condition, Ashok arrives and promises her father he would marry Bela. As Ashok sits on Bela's bedside to comfort her, Bela dreams again that the black-veiled rider has come to get her and dies. Biography of Dilip Kumar - The Tragedy King
Dilip Kumar's career has spanned six decades and over 60 films. Critics acclaimed him among one of the greatest actors in the history of Hindi cinema.Dilip Kumar is the first actor to receive a Filmfare Best Actor Award (1954) and shares the record for the most number of Filmfare awards won for that category with Shahrukh Khan, (eight wins). The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 for his contributions towards Indian cinema. He starred in films of a variety of genres such as the romantic Andaz (1949), Aan (1952), Devdas (1955), Azaad (1955),Mughal-e-Azam (1960),Ganga Jamuna (1961). In 1976, Dilip Kumar took a five-year break from film performances and returned with a character role in the film Kranti (1981) and continued his career playing central character roles in films such as Shakti (1982), Karma (1986) and Saudagar (1991). His last film was Qila (1998). Dilip Kumar has acted with actress Vyjayanthimala the most, where they both had acted seven films together including the former's home production Gunga Jamuna resulting in great on-screen chemistry and an alleged affair between them. Biography of Dilip Kumar
Muhammed Yusuf Khan took on the name Dilip Kumar as his screen name. He was born on 11th December 1922 in Peshawar which is now part of Pakistan. He was born into a Pashtun family and was one of twelve children. One of his brothers Nasir Khan was also an actor and they worked together in Ganga Jamuna (1961) and Bairaag (1976). His father Ghulam Sarwar was a fruit merchant with orchards in Peshawar and Deolali in Maharashtra.
He started a canteen in Pune where he was noticed by the director Amiya Chakravarty. With Chakravarty and actress Devika Rani's help, he entered the film industry after changing his name to Dilip Kumar.
Dilip Kumar was involved with actress Madhubala but they had to part ways as her family was opposed to their marriage. He married actress Saira Banu who was two decades younger than him in 1966. He married a second time in 1980 to Asma but the marriage ended soon after.
Dilip Kumar has been actively involved in charity work. He has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award (1994) and Nishan-e-Pakistan by the Pakistani Government in 1998. He entered politics in 2000 and was a Member of Parliament.
Jugnu (1947) was his first major success.
He worked in several movies the following year among which were Shahid (1948), which was about India's freedom struggle and starred Kamini Kaushal with whom he was romantically linked off-screen too and Mela (1948) with Nargis. Andaz (1949) was the first and last movie in which he worked with Raj Kapoor.
1950 to 1959 The early fifties saw the release of movies like Arzoo (1950), Deedar (1952), Aan (1952) and Footpath (1953). In 1955, he commanded applause for his performance in Bimal Roy's Devdas with Suchitra Sen and Vyjayanthimala.
Naya Daur (1957) was a commercial and critical success. The movie was also in the news as the director B.R. Chopra took legal action against actress Madhubala as she was signed up as the lead but backed out when her relationship with Dilip Kumar came to an end.
1960 to 1976 Dilip Kumar's next role as Prince Salim in Mughal-e-Azam (1960) was another one of his memorable performances and the movie was one of the high grossers of Bollywood. He produced and acted in Ganga Jamuna with his brother Nasir Khan.
1981 to 1989 Manoj Kumar's Kranti was his comeback movie in 1981. It was a multi starrer with Hema Malini, Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha and Parveen Babi. It was one of the biggest movies of the eighties.

Biography of Dilip Kumar
Muhammed Yusuf Khan took on the name Dilip Kumar as his screen name. He was born on 11th December 1922 in Peshawar which is now part of Pakistan. He was born into a Pashtun family and was one of twelve children. One of his brothers Nasir Khan was also an actor and they worked together in Ganga Jamuna (1961) and Bairaag (1976). His father Ghulam Sarwar was a fruit merchant with orchards in Peshawar and Deolali in Maharashtra.
He started a canteen in Pune where he was noticed by the director Amiya Chakravarty. With Chakravarty and actress Devika Rani's help, he entered the film industry after changing his name to Dilip Kumar.
Dilip Kumar was involved with actress Madhubala but they had to part ways as her family was opposed to their marriage. He married actress Saira Banu who was two decades younger than him in 1966. He married a second time in 1980 to Asma but the marriage ended soon after.
Dilip Kumar has been actively involved in charity work. He has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award (1994) and Nishan-e-Pakistan by the Pakistani Government in 1998. He entered politics in 2000 and was a Member of Parliament.
Jugnu (1947) was his first major success.
He worked in several movies the following year among which were Shahid (1948), which was about India's freedom struggle and starred Kamini Kaushal with whom he was romantically linked off-screen too and Mela (1948) with Nargis. Andaz (1949) was the first and last movie in which he worked with Raj Kapoor.
1950 to 1959 The early fifties saw the release of movies like Arzoo (1950), Deedar (1952), Aan (1952) and Footpath (1953). In 1955, he commanded applause for his performance in Bimal Roy's Devdas with Suchitra Sen and Vyjayanthimala.
Naya Daur (1957) was a commercial and critical success. The movie was also in the news as the director B.R. Chopra took legal action against actress Madhubala as she was signed up as the lead but backed out when her relationship with Dilip Kumar came to an end.
1960 to 1976 Dilip Kumar's next role as Prince Salim in Mughal-e-Azam (1960) was another one of his memorable performances and the movie was one of the high grossers of Bollywood. He produced and acted in Ganga Jamuna with his brother Nasir Khan.
1981 to 1989 Manoj Kumar's Kranti was his comeback movie in 1981. It was a multi starrer with Hema Malini, Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha and Parveen Babi. It was one of the biggest movies of the eighties.
1990 to 1999 The year 1991 saw Dilip Kumar in Saudaghar with Rajkumar. The movie was about two feuding families. He was seen again in Qila (1998) which is his last movie to date. He played a negative role. The movie subsequently did not fare well.
Dilip Kumar received the Filmfare Best Actor Award for Daag, Azaad, Devdas, Naya Daur, Kohinoor, Leader, Ram Aur Shyam and Shakti. He was the first actor who won the Filmfare Best Actor Award. He also had a record number of nominations and wins. He won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1993.

Dilip Kumar, born Muhammad Yusuf Khan on 11 December 1922, is an Indian actor and a former Member of Parliament. He is commonly known as "Tragedy King", and is described as "the ultimate method actor" by Satyajit Ray.
Starting his career with Jwar Bhata in 1944, Kumar's career has spanned five decades and over 60 films. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest actors in the history of Hindi cinema. Kumar was the first actor to receive a Filmfare Best Actor Award and holds the record for the most number of Filmfare Awards won for that category with Shahrukh Khan; eight wins. He starred in films of a variety of genres such as the romantic Andaz (1949), the swashbuckling Aan (1952), the dramatic Devdas (1955), the comical Azaad (1955), the historical Mughal-e-Azam (1960) and the social Ganga Jamuna (1961).
In 1976, Kumar took a five-year break from film performances. In 1981, he returned with a character role in the film Kranti and continued his career playing central character roles in films such as Shakti (1982), Karma (1986) and Saudagar (1991). His last film was Qila in 1998. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 for his contributions towards Indian cinema. Dilip Kumar has acted with actress Vyjayanthimala the most, where they both had acted seven films together including the former's home production Gunga Jumna resulting great on-screen chemistry and alleged affair between them.
