Willard Wigan, MBE (born 1957) is a sculptor from Birmingham, England, who makes microscopic art. His sculptures are typically placed in the eye of a needle or on the head of a pin. A single sculpture can be as small as 0.005 mm (0.0002 in). In July 2007 Willard Wigan was honoured by HRH Prince of Wales with an MBE for his services to art.

As a child with undiagnosed dyslexia, Willard Wigan was ridiculed in class by his primary school teachers for not learning to read. Wigan attributes his early drive in sculpting, which began at the age of five, to his need to escape from the derision of teachers and classmates. Wigan has since aimed to make even smaller artworks, visible only with a microscope.

The subjects of Wigan's works range from popular culture to architecture. The sculptor often refers in his work to other artists and historical events. Amongst his most famous pieces are a minute reproduction of Michelangelo's David, carved out of a single grain of sand and a commissioned miniature version of the Lloyd's building in London. Wigan has recently created a miniature sculpture representing the Obama family and has carved a statue of astronaut Buzz Aldrin in the eye of a needle, in celebration of the fortieth anniversary of the 1969 lunar landing. Other works include a microscopic Betty Boop and a copy of the FIFA World Cup trophy, both about 0.005 mm (0.0002 in) tall. As a child, Willard suffered from dyslexia and learning difficulties. He struggled at school and was ridiculed to make him feel as though he was nothing; Willard found solace in creating artwork of such minute proportions that they were not visible to the naked eye. He wanted to show the world that nothing did not exist, deducing that if people were unable to view his work, then they would not be in any position to criticise it.

Sarah Richardson is a Canadian interior decorator and television personality who started out her career as a prop stylist in 1994. Since then, Richardson has hosted the design series Room Service, Design Inc., Sarah's House and Sarah's Cottage for HGTV in Canada.

Richardson was born on October 22, 1971 and grew up in Toronto, Ontario . Her mother, Susan Cuddy, was director of design and development for the old City of Toronto. Her father, Douglas Richardson, is a retired professor of history of art and architecture at the University of Toronto. Her brother, Theo Richardson, is also a designer with Rich, Brilliant, Willing, based out of New York City. Richardson's parents divorced when she was 5.

Richardson attended Havergal College for high school. In 1993, she received a B.A. in Visual Arts (a combination of Art History and Studio Arts) from The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

Richardson is married to Alexander Younger, the owner of advertising and marketing agency, Design Lab. They met as children - Younger was a friend of Richardson's brother - but did not begin dating until 1998. The couple live in Toronto with their two daughters Robin (born 2006) and Fiona (born 2008). They also own a summer house on Georgian Bay in Ontario, which she decorated and featured in her televised series Sarah's Cottage, seen in Canada and the U.S. on HGTV. The house is powered by solar energy.
