For the first time of the European PBRJ tour history, Volcom organized the French stop in ISOLA 2000 in South Alps. Thanks to the rails by Scandinavian Shaper, local shapers built a great set up consisting of a camel box, a flat rail and a kinked one. Around 50 riders signed in, with half of them being ultra motivated kids under 15 years old! The Girls Division was super impressive. The little Emma Carrere, 13 years old was just on fire all the day long and took the cake in front of Chloé Bernard and the youngest girl, Julia Pereira, 11 years old. The 15 and under year old division was the most busiest one, full of kids ready to show their skills front of the eyes of their parents and coach! Finally, Eymeric Level won the Nitro bindings and ton of Volcom goodies, followed by Hugo Colchi and Valentin Rigaud. After his winning in the 16 years old and over division, Malveen Valdent came back at home with a new Nitro snowboard plus Volcom gears, Clement Caspar taking the second place and Arthur Millevill finishing third. The Open division saw a fierce battle between the two-standout riders of the day Vincent Remond from Auron and the Isola local legend, Mathieu Siboni. In the end, Vincent won in front of Mathieu and Sebastien Caffarelli took the 3rd place. Everybody went home with prizes and the top 5 of each division will qualify to the European PBRJ Championships taking place in Avoriaz on the 30th of March (8000€ prize money) That was a great day, full of smiles and good mood with high level snowboarding.
