Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Philips Airfryer. This is supposed to be a healthy alternative to deep fried cooking.

You can fry, bake and grill with this unit. It works on hot air. The Airfryer is 15.1 inches tall and inches 11.2 inches wide. The unit is plastic and weighs 15.4 lbs. It can cook up to 28 ounces of food. Included with the unit is a user manual and recipe book.
There is a guide with max amounts and cooking times for frozen food, meat, french fries. There are recipes for fries, spring rolls, chicken wings, steak, a whole cornish game hen, salmon and even a vanilla souffle.

This is the air outlet and it shouldn’t be blocked. There is cord storage on the bottom.
Let’s go ahead and test the Airfryer. First I’ll make french fries using the recipe in the booklet. I’ve cut three medium peeled russet potatoes about ½ inch thick and soaked them in water for 30 minutes. I drained the potatoes and patted them dry.
Plug in the unit. The power on indicator lights up. Preheat to 360 degrees. Turn the temperature dial to 360 and the timer to 3 minutes. Mix in 1 tbsp of olive oil to the potatoes. After 3 minutes, the unit is hot. Pull the pan out. Put the potatoes in, don’t fill past the max line. Also, the more space there is in the pan, the crispier your food will be. Slide the pan back. The pan is very hot so it’s best to hold the handle. Set the timer to cook for 30 minutes. Shake the basket a few times during cooking. Press the basket release button and lift the basket out. Sprinkle them with salt while they’re hot.
Next I’ll make chicken wings. The airfryer can be used right after the fries are done to cook the wings, you don’t have to wait. This is about 2 pounds wings that I’ve seasoned. Preheat the Airfryer to 360 degrees. Place the wings in the basket and cook for 15 minutes. Shake it halfway through.
You can use this unit to reheat food, set the temperature to 300 degrees and the timer for up to 10 minutes.
To clean, turn the unit to 0 and unplug. Remove the pan and cool. The outside of the unit can be wiped with a damp cloth. The basket and pan are dishwasher safe. I would wash the with hot water and dishwashing liquid. Don’t use any abrasive sponges to clean the unit as it is non-stick.
Make sure all the parts are dry before you store the unit.

Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Philips Airfryer. This is supposed to be a healthy alternative to deep fried cooking. The unit is plastic and weighs 15.4 lbs. It can cook up to 28 ounces of food. Included with the unit is a user manual and recipe book. There is a guide with max amounts and cooking times for frozen food, meat, french fries. Let’s go ahead and test the Airfryer. First I’ll make french fries using the recipe in the booklet. I’ve cut three medium peeled russet potatoes about ½ inch thick and soaked them in water for 30 minutes. I drained the potatoes and patted them dry.
Plug in the unit. The power on indicator lights up. Preheat to 360 degrees. Turn the temperature dial to 360 and the timer to 3 minutes. Mix in 1 tbsp of olive oil to the potatoes. After 3 minutes, the unit is hot. Pull the pan out. Put the potatoes in, don’t fill past the max line. Also, the more space there is in the pan, the crispier your food will be. Slide the pan back. The pan is very hot so it’s best to hold the handle. Set the timer to cook for 30 minutes. Shake the basket a few times during cooking. Press the basket release button and lift the basket out. Sprinkle them with salt while they’re hot.
Next I’ll make chicken wings. The airfryer can be used right after the fries are done to cook the wings, you don’t have to wait. This is about 2 pounds wings that I’ve seasoned. Preheat the Airfryer to 360 degrees. Place the wings in the basket and cook for 15 minutes. Shake it halfway through.

Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Philips Airfryer. This is supposed to be a healthy alternative to deep fried cooking.

You can fry, bake and grill with this unit. It works on hot air. The Airfryer is 15.1 inches tall and inches 11.2 inches wide. The unit is plastic and weighs 15.4 lbs. It can cook up to 28 ounces of food. Included with the unit is a user manual and recipe book.
There is a guide with max amounts and cooking times for frozen food, meat, french fries. There are recipes for fries, spring rolls, chicken wings, steak, a whole cornish game hen, salmon and even a vanilla souffle.

(For 12 normal mini meringues) YOU WILL NEED:
2 Eggs
100g Golden Caster Sugar
1/2 Tsp of Cornflour
1/2 Lemon for zest and juice
Food Colouring
Piping Bag
Metal bowl and whisks
Baking Paper/Parchment
Writing icing for decoration
1) Heat oven to 120c fan/140c/gas mark 1
2) Clean your metal - no grease! (vinegar/lemon and wipe)
3) Separate your egg whites into metal bowl - NO YOLK
4) Whisk your egg whites slowly (build up dem protein strands) when it starts to bubble SPEED IT UP!
5) Slowly add sugar/cornflour/lemon zest/juice
6) When it’s thicc and shiny it’s done - STIFF PEAKS!
7) Scare someone with the upside-down test
8) Separate into different bowls and add tiny bit of food colouring
9) Get piping bag and carefully spoon in
10) Stick baking paper to tray
11) Delicately spoon meringue into piping bags
12) Delicately pipe onto baking tray in shapes - leave space to rise!
13) Cook in oven for 30 minutes - they're done when you can lift them off the paper easily!
14) Leave to cool on a wire rack
15) Decorate with icing sugar or NOT WHATEVER
16) Share photos of how yours turned out better than ours and enjoy eating them as they're actually v delicious.

Recipe:
100g Shredded Wheat
80g Dark Milk and White Chocolate
1.5 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup
30G Butter
A bag of mini eggs.
1.Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie and add 1/3 of the golden syrup and butter.
2. Crumble in 1/3 of the Shredded Wheat.
3. When thoroughly mixed spoon evenly into baking cases.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 with the milk, then white chocolate.
5. Decorate with Mini Eggs on the top of the baskets.
5. Cool in a fridge for 2 hours.
6. Present in an unnecessary but impressive way.
7. Eat and regret your life choices.

100g Shredded Wheat
80g Dark Milk and White Chocolate
1.5 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup
30G Butter
A bag of mini eggs.
1.Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie and add 1/3 of the golden syrup and butter.
2. Crumble in 1/3 of the Shredded Wheat.
3. When thoroughly mixed spoon evenly into baking cases.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 with the milk, then white chocolate.
5. Decorate with Mini Eggs on the top of the baskets.
5. Cool in a fridge for 2 hours.
6. Present in an unnecessary but impressive way.
7. Eat and regret your life choices.

The South Bank Show: Philip Larkin
In March 1981 Melvyn Bragg travelled to Hull to interview the poet, librarian and jazz critic Philip Larkin for a production of the South Bank Show. The programme was broadcast 30th May 1982. Soak the oxtails in salt water. Scrub them together and let them soak for 30 minutes...
How To Make The Best Jamaican Style Oxtails
Jamaican Style Oxtails Recipe
Soak the oxtails in salt water. Scrub them together and let them soak for 30 minutes then rinse them off thoroughly.
Chop up 1 onion, 3 bell peppers(multi-colored) 1 tomato, scallions, and 2 stalks of celery into very small pieces.
Place oxtails in a mixing bowl
Add 2-3 tbs of browning & seasoning sauce, 2 tbs of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbs of ketchup and 1 tbs of minced garlic
Massage oxtails in those ingredients
Season with 2 tbs of seasoning salt, 1 tbs of ground Jamaican all spice, 1 tsp of garlic and onion powder, and 1 tsp of black pepper.
Add chopped peppers, onions, scallions, and celery to the bowl of seasoning oxtails
Let them sit overnight
The next day place a pan over medium high heat
Add about 3 tbs of oil to hot pot
Add your oxtails and vegetables allow them to fry for 10-15 minutes.
Add beef broth of water or both and fill the pot of to the top
Cover with a top and allow the oxtails to simmer for 4 hours
Stir every 20 minutes
Chop up some tomatoes and add the butter beans and tomatoes within the last 10 minutes of cooking time
