Opio Lindsey, known by his stage name, Opio, (born: 1974), is a member of the four-member, Oakland-based underground hip hop group, Souls of Mischief, and the eight-member, underground hip hop collective, Hieroglyphics.
Opio has appeared on all four Souls of Mischief albums, both Hieroglyphics studio albums, and released his solo debut, Triangulation Station, in February, 2005 on the Hieroglyphics' own independent label, Hieroglyphics Imperium Recordings.
Opio's second solo album, Vulture's Wisdom, Volume 1, was released on July 15, 2008 on Hieroglyphics Imperium Recordings as well.
Paulo Peacock (born July 17, 1974), better known by his stage name, Pep Love, is an American hip hop artist and motivational speaker. He is also one of the founding members of the Oakland, California-based underground hip hop collective Hieroglyphics.
Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Pep Love relocated with his family to Oakland, California as a teenager.
Pep Love is a practictioner of Capoeira martial arts and is a vegan.
Pep Love made his recording debut on Casual's 1993 album, Fear Itself. In Oakland, he partnered with fellow DJ/producer Jay-Biz to create the The Prose. They released one album, The Shamen in 1993 before being incorporated into the collective Hieroglyphics in 1995.
Pep Love released his solo debut album, Ascension, in 2001 and Ascension Side C in 2003, through the Hieroglpyphics' self-owned, independent label, Hieroglyphics Imperium Recordings. In 2005, he released his third solo album, The Foundation in 2005. He is expected to release The Reconstruction in 2011.
He also contributed significantly to both of the Hieroglyphics' studio albums, 3rd Eye Vision (1998) and Full Circle (2003).
