But when the waitress with whom hes having a casual fling is accidentally killed, he desperately turns to loser and lifetime friend Marvin Croat for help. Marvin agrees to make the body disappear but the reality of performing this gruesome act drives him into a state of depression and guilt. He turns to Kip for solace but becomes increasingly angered at Kips nonchalance. Marvin begins asking for favors which Kip initially fulfills, but as the demands grow, Kip refuses to give into blackmail, forcing Marvin to resort to more violent methods of getting the payback he feels he deserves. This leads both men to murderous acts neither had ever suspected themselves capable of.

Ils pressent Aaron, le frère de Moïse de leur construire une idole d’or, en fondant les bijoux qu’ils avaient emportés avec eux. Celui-ci comprit que le peuple était dans un tel état d’angoisse et de désarroi qu’il pouvait plonger dans toutes les folies. Avec l’or fondu, il construisit un veau d’or que les Hébreux adorèrent à l’imitation du taureau Apis qui était adoré en Égypte.
Lorsque Moïse descendit du mont Sinaï, il vit les Hébreux adorer une idole, contrairement au troisième Commandement. Moïse il fut pris d’une si grande colère qu’il brisa les Tables de la Loi sur un rocher.

Plusieurs récits, ou chansons désigne le veau d’or comme étant le dieu néon.

Kip Desmond has everything: a thriving career, a beautiful wife, an affluent lifestyle. But when the waitress with whom hes having a casual fling is accidentally killed, he desperately turns to loser and lifetime friend Marvin Croat for help. Marvin agrees to make the body disappear but the reality of performing this gruesome act drives him into a state of depression and guilt. He turns to Kip for solace but becomes increasingly angered at Kips nonchalance. Marvin begins asking for favors which Kip initially fulfills, but as the demands grow, Kip refuses to give into blackmail, forcing Marvin to resort to more violent methods of getting the payback he feels he deserves. This leads both men to murderous acts neither had ever suspected themselves capable of.

~Réflexion~
Alors que Moïse faisait l’ascension du Mont Sinaï pour y recevoir les Tables de la Loi, les Hébreux, libérés de l’esclavage en Égypte, oublient les prodiges que Dieu a faits pour eux.
Ils pressent Aaron, le frère de Moïse de leur construire une idole d’or, en fondant les bijoux qu’ils avaient emportés avec eux. Celui-ci comprit que le peuple était dans un tel état d’angoisse et de désarroi qu’il pouvait plonger dans toutes les folies. Avec l’or fondu, il construisit un veau d’or que les Hébreux adorèrent à l’imitation du taureau Apis qui était adoré en Égypte.
Lorsque Moïse descendit du mont Sinaï, il vit les Hébreux adorer une idole, contrairement au troisième Commandement. Moïse il fut pris d’une si grande colère qu’il brisa les Tables de la Loi sur un rocher.

Aujourd’hui, le veau d’or désigne souvent l’idolâtrie dont le centre de celle-ci est l’argent. L’excès des sociétés modernes à placer leur confiance dans le consumérisme et les biens matériels peut être rapproché de l’épisode du Veau d’or. Plusieurs récits, ou chansons désigne le veau d’or comme étant le dieu néon.

The "Council Chords" joined me for "Sounds Of The Emerald Isle" Irish Radio show on April 17, 2016. This show is in its 35th year on the radio and is the 3rd time the "Council Chords" sang 'Live' on the show. They previously appeared on the 30th and 31st Anniversary Show. The members who were present with Jim Larkin were: Tom Monahan * Tim Cruise * Todd Petti * Shaynah Barnes * Tony Donegan * Amy Korim * Tom Brophy * Jack Lally. This was by far the hardest show to do. At the beginning everything went wrong. Laptop Computer froze up, Mouse didn't work (making it difficult to play songs on the playlist from CD's), One camera didn't work at the start, My Zoom device did not work at all. I use this device to record in mono off the board and record the live acts in stereo. As a result of this...

This show is in its 35th year on the radio and is the 3rd time the "Council Chords" sang 'Live' on the show. They previously appeared on the 30th and 31st Anniversary Show.
