V/Line is a not for profit regional passenger train and coach service in Victoria, Australia. It was created after the split-up of VicRail in 1983. V/Line is owned by the V/Line Corporation which is a Victorian State Government statutory authority. V/Line operates to 82 railway stations and a larger number of coach stops, and operates 1,444 rail services and 592 coach services every week across regional Victoria. The V/Line system carried a record 1,175,030 passengers in July 2008 and continues to grow at a rate of over 20% on the major interurban lines servicing Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo and Latrobe Valley. V/Line is also track manager of the Victorian intrastate rail network outside of the Australian Rail Track Corporation and Metro Trains Melbourne leases.

On 1 July 1983 the Transport Act 1983 commenced and the State Transport Authority (STA) was created along with a range of other transport bodies. The new authority replaced VicRail, and established the V/Line operating brand in both country passenger and Victorian rail freight. The VicRail orange and silver 'teacup' livery used on passenger rolling stock was replaced in August 1983 by the orange and grey livery, the white and green V/Line logo also being launched at the same time.

Robin Charles Thicke ( /ˈθɪk/; born March 10, 1977) is an American R&B singer-songwriter, musician, composer, and actor. Thicke's albums, which he previously released under the name Thicke, are noted for their feature of a predominantly R&B sound. Thicke has written hits for popular artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Mary J. Blige and Raven-Symoné. Thicke has also been acknowledged for his work in popular albums such as Confessions and Tha Carter III.

Thicke is a judge on the ABC show Duets.

Before his days as a singer-songwriter, Thicke had written "Love Is On My Side" on Brandy's self-titled album and a number of songs for 3T's "Sexual Attention" and collaborated with Jordan Knight, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on several songs in Knight's 1999 album Jordan Knight. He also co-wrote the songs "When You Put Your Hands On Me" for Christina Aguilera's debut album and "No Tears on My Pillow" for Mýa's sophomore release, Fear of Flying. As an artist, he recorded and performed solely under his surname, Thicke. He would continue to do so until 2005.

Kelly Fisher (born 26 August 1978) is an English professional pool and snooker player.

Fisher grew up in South Elmsall, near Pontefract, West Yorkshire. She learned to play pool in her parent's pub and took up snooker when she was 13. When she was 21, she had been ranked number 1 for two consecutive seasons.

Fisher won three successive World Ladies' Snooker Championship between 1998 and 2000, and won the title again in 2002 and 2003.

In 2001, she won four successive tournaments in the ladies' divisions - the British Open, Belgian Open, LG Cup titles and the UK Championship, and extended her winning streak to ten successive tournaments when she won the LG Cup in October 2002.

She has reached the final of every European Ladies' Championship, losing just once to former West Yorkshire (Batley) Champion Shakeel Kamal. In 2003 Fisher won the first IBSF World Ladies' Championship.

When the sport's governing body withdrew its support for the women's game in 2003, abandoning all major women tournaments, Fisher saw her choices as getting a full-time job or switching to nine-ball pool. She chose to switch to pool and moved to the United States to play on the Women's Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) nine-ball tour, joining fellow former women's snooker players Allison Fisher and Karen Corr.

Lane Monte Kiffin (born May 9, 1975) is the current head coach of the University of Southern California Trojans college football team. He previously served as offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans from 2005-2006, head coach of the NFL's Oakland Raiders from 2007-2008, and head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers in 2009. Kiffin was the youngest head coach in NFL history when he was with the Raiders, and is currently the youngest head coach of a BCS Conference team in college football. He is the son of longtime NFL defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, who is the assistant head coach for USC.

Kiffin also worked as a Graduate Assistant for one year at Colorado State University. In 1999, while he was working with the offensive line, the Rams played in the Liberty Bowl that season. Kiffin secured a job with the Jacksonville Jaguars^{[citation needed]} as a quality control assistant for one year. He was then hired by Pete Carroll as a tight ends coach at USC.

Kiffin joined the University of Southern California (USC) staff in 2001 and became the wide receivers coach in 2002. In 2004, he added the duties of passing game coordinator and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2005. Kiffin also took the reins as recruiting coordinator that year, after offensive coordinator Norm Chow left USC for the same position with the NFL's Tennessee Titans. Along with these duties, Kiffin continued as the wide receivers coach.
