SCREEN GODDESSES: Claire Trevor
Claire Trevor (1910-2000) usually played gangster's molls, prostitutes or femme fatales. That she was equally good at romantic comedy can be seen in Borderline (1950), dir. William A. Seiter. She plays a career conscious somewhat over zealous undervocer police woman who is after a badguy played by Raymond Burr. She joins a rather awful dancing troupe and thus tries to impress the Burr character favourably - without much success.

HAVE CAMERA WILL TRAVEL 1956 TV SHOW CHARLES BRONSON PART 1/3 As far as the story goes this is an unsold pilot of a tv show produced by Hal roach Studios in 1956. There were two episodes filmed. None of them have any episode titles, they're just called HAVE CAMERA WILL TRAVEL. Of course a nod towards the syndicated tv show HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL! For some reason they must have decided not to go ahead and turn it into a series. And as far as I know none of the two episodes has been shown on television. This video transfer comes from a 16mm print borrowed from a die hard Charles Bronson cine film collector. The print is ridden with the so called "vinegar syndrome" and is in it's early stages of decaying. Unfortunately this happens to some film prints. This could be the only print in existence of this rare film since there seems to be nobody out there that knows anything about it. I've found absolutely no information anywhere. Not on the internet or in any books or magazines. The information on the INTERNET MOVIE DATABASE has been sent in by me personally so I know about that of course!

Fred Astaire & Rita Hayworth - The Shorty George
From film You Were Never Lovelier Columbia Picture (1942) Director: William A. Seiter Screenplay: Michael Fessier, Ernest Songs: by Jerome Kern and Johnny You Were Never Lovelier was Rita's third and last film released in 1942 and her second time as Fred Astaire's dancing partner. Except for "The Shorty George" number, all their dances were rehearsed in the attic of a funeral parlor! They had to stop every time a funeral procession came through and couldn't start up again until all the mourners had left. But if those conditions disrupted rehearsals, it didn't show on-screen. The results were fabulous. Rita later called this movie one of her favorites, but it was also memorable to her for another reason. During rehearsals of "The Shorty George", Rita experienced one of her "most embarrassing" moments when she fell down during the dance and knocked herself out cold! The film is set in what was one of Hollywood's favorite locales at the time, Buenos Aires, and also features Xavier Cugat and his Orchestra to add to the Latin flavor of this memorable musical. claudia79.tripod.com

"We were THRILLED with the professionalism and coordination provided by RAM Entertainment from the very first Email contact! You guys were so pleasant to work with and it was obvious that you did EVERYTHING possible to customize our daughter's wedding reception to make it very special for her...and for us.
DMP was AWESOME and we loved every minute of their music. They were great MC's. They worked with us to incorporate our own iPod music as well as providing microphones and backdrop music for our "Surprise" song with Whitney's friends singing. They were polite, professional... and VERY TALENTED!
We could not be happier with the entire experience and we would be happy to recommend your services as well as DMP at any time!
With sincere gratitude from a very happy couple and two very happy parents..."

“We LOVED DMP!! They were better than we ever imagined - everyone kept asking where we found them, and saying that they have never seen so many people dancing all night long, so we couldn't be happier with our choice!! They also did a great job of playing easy/softer music earlier in the night, then really turning it up towards the end of the night, and the Michael Jackson impersonation was awesome!!! I'll never forget it!
Thanks again for everything you've done through this process and we will definitely recommend this band and RAM Entertainment in the future.”
