Fire Weather Warning
for the North West Pastoral, North East Pastoral, West Coast, Eastern Eyre
Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges,
Adelaide Metropolitan, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Riverland,
Murraylands, Upper South East and Lower South East forecast districts.

Weather Situation
Severe or higher fire danger ratings have been declared by the CFS for all
districts. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds 30-45 km/h ahead of a
gusty southwest to southerly change 40-50 km/h. The change is expected near a
line from Wudinna to Kingscote to Robe late morning, Cleve to Adelaide to Keith
late afternoon, and Woomera to Hawker to Renmark in the evening. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms in the south and west, tending scattered in the
afternoon over Eyre Peninsula and the south of the Northwest Pastoral.
Widespread rain with local heavy falls near the northwest border, areas of rain
developing later over Kangaroo Island.

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
Mount Lofty Ranges, Upper South East and Lower South East
The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are
likely to be fast-moving and uncontrollable.

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
North West Pastoral, North East Pastoral, West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula,
Lower Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Adelaide Metropolitan, Yorke
Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Riverland and Murraylands
The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are
likely to be fast-moving and uncontrollable.

No further warnings will be issued for this event, but the situation will
