Anthony William Brise (28 March 1952 in Erith, Kent – 29 November 1975 in Arkley, London) was a British racing driver from England. He won two of the three British Formula Three Championships in 1973. He participated in 10 Formula One Grands Prix, and scored one championship point.
Brise made his Grand Prix debut on April 27, 1975 for Williams but after one race switched to the team run by former world champion Graham Hill, where he showed great potential. Later in 1975 Hill, Brise and four other members of the team were killed when their plane, piloted by Hill, crashed at Arkley golf course, in thick fog.

Sometimes I hold a
Candle to it,
Finding the handle to it
I’m holding something
Wonderful
And sometimes
I’m without the light
Lost in the tricks
Of night
Moments
I have the pleasure of it
I take the measure of it
And time goes by
So thoughtlessly
And moment’s
Thought is like a stone
Another cup of Joe
‘N Take somebody home
Time and tide
Have sands to sweep
And I've a waking dream
Love will wait
And children will keep
Love is a kiss to steal
Not written in the deal
Sometimes I drive a nail
Right through it
I pin the tail right to it
And I can feel it's happening
And suddenly it's so far away
And I remember I've got
Dreams to pay
