Batumi is a seaside town in Georgia, in the center of the Achara, the town is since 1878. The population is about 200,000. Archaeological material found in Batumi and its surroundings, near the mouth of the river Korolistskali, on its left bank (the hill where there was a fortress built in the VI century, which is now called "the Fortress of Tamar" by the local people) confirms that this area has been settled by ancient people still at the turn of the II - I millennium BC. Today Batumi is a major transportation town, where marine, rail, air and road communications are connected. Large sea transport operations are held there. Batumi is the oldest and most important port on the transport of oil on the coast of the Black Sea. It is equipped with the latest technology and serves as large ocean tanker. Batumi is connected with the most important centers of the regions of Georgia due to the modern highways. Batumi is an international port on the south - eastern coast of the Black Sea, while Baku is the final destination of Batumi railway and a pipeline, as well as a transportation hub. The city, as well as the entire area is served by an international airport, which was opened in May 2007. The museum, the aquarium and dolphinarium of Batumi, the botanical garden, modern attractions, the circus and the "Batumi Rivera," casino -- it is the best leisure and entertainment complex on the Black Sea coast. In Batumi there are all the iconic buildings of the main religious denominations: Orthodox, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish. There are also a chair and a seat of the Diocese of Batumi and Shalta in Batumi. Batumi became one of the most popular tourist destinations on the east coast of the Black Sea in recent years. It is popular not only in the Republic, but also in the region. There is a large flow of tourists from Europe, Asia and America. Visa-free travel is declared for all countries of the former Soviet Union, what helps to increase the tourist flow. According to research conducted by international organizations, Georgia is among the top three countries of Europe by the criterion of security. In recent years, the country has carried out successful reforms in the following structures: the economy, energy, infrastructure, security, education, police, and state administration. As a result, the level of bureaucracy and bribery was significantly reduced and this was highly appreciated by various leading international organizations. There is an intensive construction of modern hotels and entertainment centers in Batumi; you can already see such well-known hotel brands as Sheraton, Radisson there, and the Hilton Hotel, Kempinskiy and other hotels of the famous brands are under construction. Our favorite dolphinarium was remodeled, too. In 2009, the Batumi Boulevard was extended by 1.5 kilometers, and thus became one of the largest avenues in the world, with a total length of more than 7 kilometers. Many large-scale projects are scheduled, there is an infrastructure project of unprecedented scale implemented for the post-Soviet space which includes a complete upgrade and replacement of municipal water (pipes, tanks, sewage and drainage channels), of the gas system, electrical cables, including outdoor lighting, communications, and in a result all communication will be placed underground. At the same time, the decoration of streets and sidewalks is implemented. Thus, Batumi becomes more important than just the port, it is the face of the success and development of Georgia. The real estate market in Batumi is very attractive not only for its citizens, but also for foreigners, as well as from the point of view of the reliable and profitable investment in the life of the city. Recently, after the unpleasant "surprises" of the banking sector of a number of leading countries it became topical to invest the real estate.
