28. WFF - "The Captain of Nakara" - Bob Nyanja - FesTiVi 2012
The Captain of Nakara / Kapitan z Nakary - reż. Bob Nyanja
Kenya/Germany 2012

A Song in Nyanja
This song is sung in the native language of Nyanja. The children at the Village of Hope speak, write and are taught in English, the official language of Zambia, but to most English is a second language. The kids sound great in any language they are singing! The tall man in the middle is Teacher Malowa, he teaches the upper grades at the School of Hope.
