5 Things You Should Never Do In A 4X4 or 4WD Vehicle. Never drive on pavement with part-time 4WD, nor with a differential locked. Always put the car in neutral and come to a stop before putting the transfer case in 4 Lo. Never floor it when you're trying to get unstuck. Be sure to use traction control appropriately, leaving it on when driving on snow, ice, or while rock crawling, and turning it off (or using an appropriate terrain mode) when driving through sand or mud. Finally, be sure to inspect underneath your vehicle after any serious off road adventure. Be safe and have fun out there! Thanks for watching.

Click to Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU - The rain has continued, and so has my love for mud! Today I take out my Vaterra Ascender 4x4 Chevy K5 Blazer for a rip in the mud! The water has made all dirt areas slick as a pool of grease on a hot day! The mud has continued to layer up.. so I have decided to get my 2.2 RC4WD Mudslinger tires full of the good stuff.. and try to climb a slick hill with all of the rigs power!
The sound kit I am using is called the "ESS-One" and can be found via Google. I found mine on eBay.. The sound unit is NOT waterproof, but I built a splash guard around it. Notice I never sink the truck passed the top of the door handles.
My servo is a Savox WP series.. waterproof, of course.. :)
This is a great rig, and I really enjoyed taking it out today.. there is no end of fun when enjoying the hobby of Radio Control!

Extreme 4x4 Fun Wet and Wild Off-road, In trip episode 30 we take on a very soaking wet Adelaide rd and the muddy hills in the South West of W.A.
Alex from Intents Off-road joins us for this trip providing great track intel and as usual Brian & John in the Jeep Wrangler and Torben in the Silver 79 V8 are along for the ride.
Plenty of recoveries were had along the way and a vehicle failure.

4x4 Off-road trip Awesome muddy South west W.A. (Episode 19). We explore Wellington National Park and find more than we could have hoped for. Yet again with the help of our good mate Wayne (the SW local) we encountered Deep bogholes, very steep and long hill climbs covered with mud and a great tough section at the end which tested us all!
After this awesome trip we camped at a place called Potters Gorge which made for a great nights camp with plenty of cold ones around the camp fire talking about the days 4WD adventure.
Vehicles in this video: we had Two 79 series landcruisers, Two Nissan Patrols and one unstoppable Jeep!

Four-wheel drive, 4WD, or 4×4 ("four by four") is a four-wheeled vehicle with a drivetrain that allows all four wheels to receive torque from the engine simultaneously. The term four-wheel drive typically describes larger passenger vehicles that may allow the driver to manually switch (sometimes with an automatic option) between two-wheel-drive mode (if available) for streets and four-wheel-drive mode for low-traction conditions such as ice, mud, snow, or loose gravel.

5 Things You Should Never Do In A 4X4 or 4WD Vehicle. Never drive on pavement with part-time 4WD, nor with a differential locked. Always put the car in neutral and come to a stop before putting the transfer case in 4 Lo. Never floor it when you're trying to get unstuck. Be sure to use traction control appropriately, leaving it on when driving on snow, ice, or while rock crawling, and turning it off (or using an appropriate terrain mode) when driving through sand or mud. The water has made all dirt areas slick as a pool of grease on a hot day! The mud has continued to layer up.. so I have decided to get my 2.2 RC4WD Mudslinger tires full of the good stuff.. and try to climb a slick hill with all of the rigs power! The sound kit I am using is called the "ESS-One" and can be found via Google. I found mine on eBay.. The sound unit is NOT waterproof, but I built a splash guard around it. Notice I never sink the truck passed the top of the door handles. 4x4 Off-road trip Awesome muddy South west W.A. (Episode 19). We explore Wellington National Park and find more than we could have hoped for. Yet again with the help of our good mate Wayne (the SW local) we encountered Deep bogholes, very steep and long hill climbs covered with mud and a great tough section at the end which tested us all! After this awesome trip we camped at a place called Potters Gorge which made for a great nights camp with plenty of cold ones around the camp fire talking about the days 4WD adventure. 5 Things You Should Never Do In A 4X4 or 4WD Vehicle. Never drive on pavement with part-time 4WD, nor with a differential locked. Always put the car in neutral and come to a stop before putting the transfer case in 4 Lo. Never floor it when you're trying to get unstuck. Be sure to use traction control appropriately, leaving it on when driving on snow, ice, or while rock crawling, and turning it off (or using an appropriate terrain mode) when driving through sand or mud. Finally, be sure to inspect underneath your vehicle after any serious off road adventure. Be safe and have fun out there! Thanks for watching.

Click to Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU - The rain has continued, and so has my love for mud! Today I take out my Vaterra Ascender 4x4 Chevy K5 Blazer for a rip in the mud! The water has made all dirt areas slick as a pool of grease on a hot day! The mud has continued to layer up.. so I have decided to get my 2.2 RC4WD Mudslinger tires full of the good stuff.. and try to climb a slick hill with all of the rigs power!
The sound kit I am using is called the "ESS-One" and can be found via Google. I found mine on eBay.. The sound unit is NOT waterproof, but I built a splash guard around it. Notice I never sink the truck passed the top of the door handles.
My servo is a Savox WP series.. waterproof, of course.. :)
This is a great rig, and I really enjoyed taking it out today.. there is no end of fun when enjoying the hobby of Radio Control!

4x4 Adventure - Victorian High Country (November 2013)
4x4 Adventure Victorian High Country Extraviganza was full of high expections, we were heading from Ensay back to Thompson Dam through the High Country. Little did we know what was ahead of us. After an Awesome start to our get away staying at one of our club sponsors Pub The Little River Inn. Putting on an exceptional accommodation with full All you can eat buffet BBQ Dinner and Breakfast for us. We headed out Sunday Morning with the excitement of the new challenges ahead. As we stated on Haunted Stream Track and was relative easy with many small river crossings. this was a very long track and 1/2 way through we stopped for lunch just outside at Dawson City camp site. from there we check our bearings and decided to head in a different direction heading in a more direct line for Dargo. After an Awesome start to our get away staying at one of our club sponsors Pub The Little River Inn. Putting on an exceptional accommodation with full All you can eat buffet BBQ Dinner and Breakfast for us. We headed out Sunday Morning with the excitement of the new challenges ahead. As we stated on Haunted Stream Track and was relative easy with many small river crossings. this was a very long track and 1/2 way through we stopped for lunch just outside at Dawson City camp site. from there we check our bearings and decided to head in a different direction heading in a more direct line for Dargo. Unfortunately this is where our trip also ended. As one of our members (Jake) rolled his 60 series (1.5 times) after falling into a rut THANKFULLY both Jake & Gabby came away with out any injuries although a little shaken, After an epic recovery we managed to get the 60 back on its wheels and regroups at the camp site below for the night. The Next morning we started the slow crawl back to ensay. and finally home. Again you would not wish this to happen to anyone, and was just a freak accident. Although our trip was cut short, the best thing about it was how we all pulled together and made a bad situation into one as President of 4x4 Adventure So Proud of All our Members in making sure we all got home safe.
