I'm F**king Allergic To Money (rare 70s funk vinyl)
This 1970s obscure vinyl record, finally restored via ai music magic, was the lead single from Bill Hayter’s first album: Love, Money, Funk, and Adrenaline. Alongside his brother Marvin, Bill Hayter took the 70s underground funk world by storm after fate (and being broke) led the brothers to find two battered bass guitars in a dumpster outside their shared Brooklyn studio apartment.
While Marvin would use his newly acquired sonic powers to chase women (and pay alimony), Bill would squirrel the vast majority of his earnings away. “I can’t deal with that sh*t,” Hayter said in a 2004 Channel One interview. “One time in the 80s as a joke I entered a contest. Then a few months later Ed McMahon is at my door with this giant check and I started going into convulsions. I was in the ICU for six w...

After his military career, McMahon graduated from the Catholic University of America and started working in the world of television. His signature introduction of Johnny Carson, "Heeeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!" became synonymous with The Tonight Show, and he remained a fixture on the program for nearly three decades. While Carson chose a life of privacy after retiring from the show, McMahon continued to work in the entertainment industry. He took on various roles, such as hosting "The Kraft Music Hall" and co-hosting "T.V.'s Bloopers and Practical Jokes" with Dick Clark. He also participated in various charity events and campaigns.
Despite his successful career, McMahon's life took a tragic turn as he faced significant financial woes. He lost his Beverly Hills home to foreclosure and found himself nearly $1.5 million in debt. His financial decline was attributed to his generosity and desire to make others happy, which often came at his own expense. In addition to his financial struggles, McMahon faced a series of health complications toward the end of his life. He suffered from a broken neck, pneumonia, and possibly bone cancer. These health issues took a significant toll on McMahon, ultimately leading to his death in 2009 at the age of 86.
Ed McMahon's life serves as a cautionary tale of the fleeting nature of fame and fortune in the world of show business. His story highlights the importance of balancing personal desires and financial responsibilities, as well as the impact of health complications on one's life. His legacy as Johnny Carson's loyal sidekick will forever be remembered.

Lyrics:
I'm always close to broke
Lady, I ain't bein' funny
I need to call a doctor
Cause I'm f**kin' allergic to money
If you came up to me and tried to put some in my hand
Those bills would curl right up and crumble into sand
If I found a quarter on the street I think my heart would stop
And if I went into a bank they'd shut it down and call the cops
I'm allergic to money (he's allergic to money)
I can't handle it honey (can't handle it honey)
I hope my personality is great, sure hope I'm god d*mn funny
Cause you're a million dollar woman but I'm allergic to f**kin' money!
If I cashed in all my luck and somehow won the lottery
A meteor would fall to earth and it would only land on me
And if I fought a toddler and you armed him with some cash
There ain't no doubt in my mind that little kid would kick my a**
I'm allergic to money (he's allergic to money)
I can't handle it honey (can't handle it honey)
I hope you know what you're gettin' into, sure hope I'm god d*mn funny
Cause you're a million dollar woman but I'm allergic to f**in' money
Someone call a doctor, I'm riddled with poverty
It blows my mind that a girl so fine would want to be with me
Don't say I didn't warn ya, lady I ain't bein' funny
Cause you're a million dollar woman but I'm allergic to f**kin' money!
