A week ago, Ukrainian troops launched a surprise offensive against the Russian army on the eastern front, precipitating a massive military tragedy. In a few of days, the Ukrainian army has taken over 30 towns and villages and recaptured almost 2,500 square kilometers of land from the Russians. As Ukraine's commanders aim to consolidate their advantage, the astonishing rate of advancement shows no sign of slowing down.
A week ago, Ukrainian troops launched a surprise offensive against the Russian army on the eastern front, precipitating a massive military tragedy. In a few of days, the Ukrainian army has taken over 30 towns and villages and recaptured almost 2,500 square kilometers of land from the Russians. As Ukraine's commanders aim to consolidate their advantage, the astonishing rate of advancement shows no sign of slowing down.
As tensions between the Russian leader and the military high command increase, Putin and his generals have resorted to pointing the finger of blame at one another.
General SVR, a Telegram channel, stated that in a recent meeting held by an enraged Putin, one of his generals could no longer control his anger and told the Russian president where to go.
General SVR said, "The most important event of the meeting was a report to the President via video connection from one of the Generals, who is far closer to the front line than the other speakers."
Already at the beginning of the General's report, Putin started to question his sobriety.

Russia-1 (Russian: Россия-1) is a state-owned Russian television channel founded in 1991. It belongs to the All-Russia State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK). Russia Channel was previously known as RTR (Russian: РТР). Russia-1 has the second largest audience in Russian television. In a typical week, it is viewed by 75% of urban Russians, compared to 83% for the leading channel, Channel One. The two channels are similar in their politics, and they compete directly in entertainment. Russia-1 has many regional variations and broadcasts in many languages.
History
Soviet period
Russia-1 had started in 1965 as Program 3 in the Soviet Union and moved to Channel 2 in 1967 when a new channel, Program 4 (now known as NTV), was officially launched and the Moscow Program, which started in 1956, was transferred to Channel 3. From the very start, it only hosted programs produced by the Ministry of Education of the Soviet Union, as well as children's programming, in monochrome. The move to a new channel frequency resulted in it being renamed Program 2 and becoming the second home of the national newscast Vremya since 1968.

Russian wine
Russian wine refers to wine made in the Russian Federation and to some extent wines made in the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics though this later referencing is an inaccurate representation of wines from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine. The phrase Russian wine more properly refers to wine made in the southern part of the Russian Federation-including the areas around Dagestan, Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Krasnodar Krai, Rostov, and Stavropol Krai. Russia currently has the following controlled appellations that correspond to the sorts of grapes: Sibirkovy (Сибирьковый), Tsimlyanski Cherny (Цимлянский чёрный), Plechistik (Плечистик),Narma (Нарма), and Güliabi Dagestanski (Гюляби Дагестанский).
History

Arktika-class icebreaker
The Arktika class is a Russian (former Soviet) class of nuclear-powered icebreakers; they are the largest and most powerful icebreakers ever constructed. Ships of the Arktika class are owned by the federal government, but were operated by the Murmansk Shipping Company (MSCO) until 2008, when they were transferred to the fully government-owned operator Atomflot. Of the ten civilian nuclear-powered vessels built by Russia (and the Soviet Union), six have been of this type. They are used for escorting merchant ships in the Arctic Ocean north of Siberia as well as for scientific and recreational expeditions to the Arctic.
History
On July 3, 1971, construction began on a conceptual design of a larger nuclear icebreaker, dubbed Arktika, in the Baltic Shipyard in then Leningrad. Four years later, on December 17, 1975, Moscow and Leningrad received radio messages informing them that sea trials had been completed successfully. The newest and largest nuclear icebreaker at the time was ready for the Arctic.

As Ukraine's commanders aim to consolidate their advantage, the astonishing rate of advancement shows no sign of slowing down.

As tensions between the Russian leader and the military high command increase, Putin and his generals have resorted to pointing the finger of blame at one another.
General SVR, a Telegram channel, stated that in a recent meeting held by an enraged Putin, one of his generals could no longer control his anger and told the Russian president where to go.
General SVR said, "The most important event of the meeting was a report to the President via video connection from one of the Generals, who is far closer to the front line than the other speakers."
Already at the beginning of the General's report, Putin started to question his sobriety.

Yamal (Russian: Ямал) is a Russian Arktika-class nuclear-powered icebreaker operated by Atomflot (formerly by the Murmansk Shipping Company). She is named after the Yamal Peninsula in Northwest Siberia; the name means End of the Land in Nenets. Yamal is equipped with a double hull. The outer hull is 48 mm (1.89 in) thick where ice is met and 25 mm (0.98 in) elsewhere and has a polymer coating to reduce friction. There is water ballast between the inner and outer hulls which can be shifted in order to aid icebreaking. Icebreaking is also assisted by an air bubbling system which can deliver 24 m3/s (850 cu ft/s) of air from jets 9 m (30 ft) below the surface. Yamal can break ice while making way either forwards or backwards.

There are a total of 29 countries that have Icebreakers. Russia is the only country that builds nuclear icebreakers. Nuclear Icebreakers can generate power up to 230,000 horsepower. An icebreaker should be related to the subject or the purpose of the meeting. For example, if a collaborative learning environment is needed for a training project, then an icebreaker exercise that promotes collaboration could be chosen. If the subject of the meeting is literature, then the subject of the meeting could be introduced through an exercise that revolves around a participant's favorite books.
Icebreakers should be relaxing and non-threatening. For example, icebreakers in a professional setting should not require people to reveal personal information or to touch other people, as this may be stressful or culturally inappropriate. They should not embarrass the participants or make them feel compelled to participate. They should also not show disrespect for any social and professional hierarchies in the group, as this can be uncomfortable for participants. At the end of a well-executed icebreaker exercise, the facilitator should be able to summarize for the group what was learned during the exercise.

The lead universal nuclear icebreaker (GUAL) "Arktika" (part of the Rosatom enterprise "Atomflot") has completed its farthest passage in the eastern direction - to the port of Pevek (Chukotka Autonomous Okrug). The communications department of FSUE Atomflot informs about this.
According to a message posted on the company's website, with the assistance of the Kapitan Dranitsyn diesel-electric icebreaker, the Arktika GUAL completed the pilotage of the Yuri Arshenevsky and Engineer Trubin motor ships. General cargo was delivered to Chukotka by ships for companies implementing investment projects in the region.
“For the first time, the lead universal nuclear-powered icebreaker Arktika passed to the water area of the port of Pevek. The vessel has confirmed its compliance with the design characteristics of the icebreaking capacity. This caravan escort is a good experience of operating a universal nuclear icebreaker. The crew of the nuclear-powered ship learned in practice the capabilities of the vessel. The headquarters of the company's marine operations will study the results of the work for further planning of activities, ”commented the general director of Atomflot Mustafa Kashka.

As tensions between the Russian leader and the military high command increase, Putin and his generals have resorted to pointing the finger of blame at one another.
General SVR, a Telegram channel, stated that in a recent meeting held by an enraged Putin, one of his generals could no longer control his anger and told the Russian president where to go.
General SVR said, "The most important event of the meeting was a report to the President via video connection from one of the Generals, who is far closer to the front line than the other speakers."
Already at the beginning of the General's report, Putin started to question his sobriety.

Russia-1 (Russian: Россия-1) is a state-owned Russian television channel founded in 1991. It belongs to the All-Russia State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK). Russia Channel was previously known as RTR (Russian: РТР). Russia-1 has the second largest audience in Russian television. In a typical week, it is viewed by 75% of urban Russians, compared to 83% for the leading channel, Channel One. The two channels are similar in their politics, and they compete directly in entertainment. Russia-1 has many regional variations and broadcasts in many languages.
History
Soviet period
Russia-1 had started in 1965 as Program 3 in the Soviet Union and moved to Channel 2 in 1967 when a new channel, Program 4 (now known as NTV), was officially launched and the Moscow Program, which started in 1956, was transferred to Channel 3. From the very start, it only hosted programs produced by the Ministry of Education of the Soviet Union, as well as children's programming, in monochrome. The move to a new channel frequency resulted in it being renamed Program 2 and becoming the second home of the national newscast Vremya since 1968.

His grapes are still ripening in the spring sunshine on Ukraine’s Black Sea coast, yet even now, winemaker Georgiy Molchanov knows that 2022 may be a unique vintage.
For one thing, it will be the first time he has made wine while his terroirs have been part of a warzone. And for another, this year’s Chardonnay may have some unique extra tasting notes: a hint of gunpowder maybe, with a full-bodied metallic finish.
For buried in the sandy soils of his vineyard overlooking the Southern Bug River are several Grad rockets - fired by Russian forces during their attempts to capture the nearby city of Mykolaiv two months ago.

This video was shot in the Arctic Ocean in March 2018. For 7 days our crew passed through the Barents Sea to Karsky around the Novaya Zemlya archipelago on the nuclear icebreaker Yamal - we saw the northern lights and polar bears, watched the ships stuck in the ice being towed, and were very cold.
In the video you can see two Russian icebreakers - “50 Years of Victory” and “Yamal” with a capacity of 75,000 horsepower and a distinctive shark mouth, which appeared on it in 1994 during one of the children's humanitarian programs. According to legend, someone suggested drawing a smiling shark mouth on the nose to make it more fun for children. At present, Russia has the only nuclear-powered icebreaker fleet in the world. They are used to provide wiring ships in the ices of the Northern Sea Route in the freezing ports of the Russian Federation, research expeditions, rescue operations and tourist cruises.
In addition to the extreme weather conditions, the shooting was complicated by the fact that the icebreaker was always in motion. And if the drone was flying over the radar tower, the recording file was damaged.

The Arktika lead nuclear icebreaker of project 22220 sailed out from Baltic Shipyard for the final stage of sea trials, the enterprise said.
“Innovative solutions which have never been used in a nuclear-powered vessel were implemented in the lead nuclear icebreaker.
The Arktika is equipped with electric alternating-current propulsion with asynchronous electric motors.
The icebreaker has high-voltage generators and a steam unit designed specifically for it.
Practically all equipment is Russian-made.
The running trials will test interaction of the electric motor with the nuclear power plant and the main turbo generators.
We have entered the final stage of trials.
The icebreaker will be handed over to the customer after return to the Baltic Shipyard.
It is to become operational in 2020,”

Nothing in Russia is small and that is why its ice breakers have always been some of the largest in the world. The Arktika is fairly recent. Before the Arktika came out, Russia had an entire fleet of Arktika class ice breakers, with 50 Let Pobedy, or “50 years of Victory” being the last title holder of the biggest icebreaker in the world. However, after over 13 years of holding the title, she was superseded by Arktika 2016. Now, 50 Let Pobedy was super huge and extremely powerful, so you can only imagine what Arktika is like.

There are a total of 29 countries that have Icebreakers. Russia is the only country that builds nuclear icebreakers. Nuclear Icebreakers can generate power up to 230,000 horsepower. An icebreaker should be related to the subject or the purpose of the meeting. For example, if a collaborative learning environment is needed for a training project, then an icebreaker exercise that promotes collaboration could be chosen. If the subject of the meeting is literature, then the subject of the meeting could be introduced through an exercise that revolves around a participant's favorite books.
Icebreakers should be relaxing and non-threatening. For example, icebreakers in a professional setting should not require people to reveal personal information or to touch other people, as this may be stressful or culturally inappropriate. They should not embarrass the participants or make them feel compelled to participate. They should also not show disrespect for any social and professional hierarchies in the group, as this can be uncomfortable for participants. At the end of a well-executed icebreaker exercise, the facilitator should be able to summarize for the group what was learned during the exercise.

With the assistance of the Kapitan Dranitsyn diesel-electric icebreaker, the Arktika GUAL completed the pilotage of the Yuri Arshenevsky and Engineer Trubin motor ships.
The lead universal nuclear icebreaker (GUAL) "Arktika" (part of the Rosatom enterprise "Atomflot") has completed its farthest passage in the eastern direction - to the port of Pevek (Chukotka Autonomous Okrug). The communications department of FSUE Atomflot informs about this.
According to a message posted on the company's website, with the assistance of the Kapitan Dranitsyn diesel-electric icebreaker, the Arktika GUAL completed the pilotage of the Yuri Arshenevsky and Engineer Trubin motor ships. General cargo was delivered to Chukotka by ships for companies implementing investment projects in the region.
“For the first time, the lead universal nuclear-powered icebreaker Arktika passed to the water area of the port of Pevek. The vessel has confirmed its compliance with the design characteristics of the icebreaking capacity. This caravan escort is a good experience of operating a universal nuclear icebreaker. The crew of the nuclear-powered ship learned in practice the capabilities of the vessel. The headquarters of the company's marine operations will study the results of the work for further planning of activities, ”commented the general director of Atomflot Mustafa Kashka.

Yamal (Russian: Ямал) is a Russian Arktika-class nuclear-powered icebreaker operated by Atomflot (formerly by the Murmansk Shipping Company). She is named after the Yamal Peninsula in Northwest Siberia; the name means End of the Land in Nenets.
Yamal is equipped with a double hull. The outer hull is 48 mm (1.89 in) thick where ice is met and 25 mm (0.98 in) elsewhere and has a polymer coating to reduce friction. There is water ballast between the inner and outer hulls which can be shifted in order to aid icebreaking. Icebreaking is also assisted by an air bubbling system which can deliver 24 m3/s (850 cu ft/s) of air from jets 9 m (30 ft) below the surface. Yamal can break ice while making way either forwards or backwards.
