A-INFOS-ORG

The A-Infos news lists are democratically self-managed by an international organizational collective. Here's how to participate. We especially encourage women, non-english speaking people, and those living outside of Europe and America. Here is a list of our current policies.

A-INFOS VISION

The A-Infos Project is coordinated by an international collective of revolutionary anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist activists, involved with class struggle and who regard it as a total social struggle.

These are people who conceive themselves as revolutionary class struggle social anarchists, anarcho-communists, libertarian communists, syndicalists and others who hold similar opinions but use other labels.

A-Infos is organized by people who feel anarchism is a social theory, and that a revolution is necessary to bring about the new class-less social order, and that this revolution can only be made by the vast majority of the working people.

The specific kind of anarchism we talk about and promote is the anarchism of the Haymarket martyrs and those expelled by Karl Marx from the First International for criticizing his authoritarianism and the elitist, vanguardist degradation of the masses of the working class...

We do not support the kind of anarchism proposed by some pseudo-modernists and pseudo-"revolutionaries" who regard symbolic activity as substitute to mass struggle, or the kind of anarchism of "humanists" who hold other tasks as equal or more important than the revolutionary struggle for abolishing the capitalist system.

A-Infos work is not inspired by egoistic and egocentric individualism, primitivism, "free capitalism without a state" or even a state without free capitalism - who oppose the present capitalist order but do not offer instead a viable model of modern social order of freedom, equality, and solidarity.

It is not enough for individuals and groups to use an anarchist label for their texts to be distributed by A-Infos.

In the struggle for a free society, we distribute news and articles in several languages, covering a wide range of areas of struggle. These include workplace and environmental struggles as well as the fight against racism, sexism and homophobia. A-Infos also distributes news on indigenous peoples anti-colonialist fight against settlers, occupation and marginalization, as well as anti-nationalist and anti-regional separatist struggles, because workers have no country but the world as a whole....

A-Infos is specialized press agency, in the service (as we see it best) of the movement of revolutionary anti-capitalist activists who are involved in the various social struggles against the capitalist class and its social system.

A-Infos is not an open "liberal" service that distributes anything "we" are sympathetic to -- it is not Indymedia. It is first of all a free distribution tool for information from and about collectives of anarchist (and other anti authoritarian revolutionaries) involved in the struggle.

A-Infos workers do not think we are the ones who should decide who, on the social anarchist camp, is a "real" anarchist or not. However, as resources are limited, we have the right and duty to (autonomously) choose what we distribute what we feel is best among the contributions and contributors. The freedom of association the A-Infos collective is based on means nothing without the freedom not to associate, if workers so choose.

A-Infos has a role to play in the world anarchist movement. Information is strength. A-Infos helps to build a sense of an international movement. A-Infos is, to a certain extent, one of the few international organizational tools of the movement. But to keep this role it must stay a tool in the service of the movement and not a free-for-all information service.

A-Infos is not just an internal movement tool. Like the Anarchist FAQ, it's also a means to present the movement to the wider audience and to a new generation, and acquaint them with international aspects of the movement.

A-Infos is an autonomous anarchist press agency that is not the bullhorn of any "social" movement. Even when self-proclaimed anarchists (or even if real ones) are involved is not a guarantee A-Infos will distribute contributions. Even if we ourselves sympathize with given movements is no guarantee articles will be posted.

Thus, A-Infos distributes the news and analysis its workers want to share with the world non-authoritarian activists community -- mainly posts from anti-authoritarian revolutionary collectives and reports about direct action of social struggle both of activists and of common people in their daily life.

Anyone who is not satisfied with the services we provide, is welcome to use other services or build her/his own.

A-infos is both an organizational tool, a propaganda tool, and an information tool of the movement -- and is not merely "news by, about and of interest to anarchists."

On 19 October we will block terminal Alcantara Port of Lisbon, after the merger of the CGTP 15h in Alcantara. Let's stop the movement of goods in the main terminal shipping Portugal. We will support the ongoing strike of dockers. ---- We want to stop the process of casualization, reinforcing the concrete struggle in the port of Lisbon. We want to grow other struggles, other sectors of the economy, in other areas of life. We want to say loudly that the problem is the exploitation and obscene accumulation of resources by a few. We want to say it in a language that can no longer be ignored. We want to stop the economy and put it in our hands. ---- The Port of Lisbon is a trading platform of international, European and Atlantic, and one of the most obvious campaign of devaluation of labor and also the resistance that opposes it. Sunday, October 13, the National Front candidate won the cantonal elections of Brignoles (Var) with approximately 54% of the vote. The electoral victory of this little fascist bureaucrat takes place in a climate of particular concern: rise of extreme right idea throughout Europe and criminal violence that go with (murder and assault of activists, immigrant-es, to Homosexuals), lower social struggles and discouragement are face-operated roller capitalist compressor. ---- After the first round on October 6, it was fashionable to relativize the big score the National Front in the first round . While the National Front was not progressing number of votes compared to the previous local elections. Yet his score, added to that of a right-wing splinter party of France (9% of the vote) was high enough to cause concern. Otherwise, why would it take to conclude that a significant ...

Back to the fight against the burial of radioactive waste in the late 1980s ---- On the occasion of the public debate on the proposed radioactive waste disposal Cigéo, the anti-nuclear struggle again speak a bit of it. This project is expected to Bure, a small town located at the boundary between the Meuse and Haute-Marne. A priori, this sparsely populated region and irrigated financially for twenty years by the nuclear does not seem to be a good breeding ground for the fight against the big nuclear waste. If Andra1 settled there, this is also precisely why. Because she felt that here, it was unlikely to encounter strong resistance. ---- In 1989, a report by the Director of Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) said: "It is increasingly the primary constraint in this area [the burial of radioactive waste] is the ability of the population Local to accept the principle of ...

DRUM ( Dodge Revolutionary Union Movement ) was an organization that was based on the working men and women-are black industry. Born in 1968 to a wildcat strike in Detroit, the importance of DRUM lies in the fact that the black movement has gone through her ââstreets and communities to workplaces. ---- Originally the black auto workers complained of racial discrimination that prevailed in their factories and the inability or unwillingness of the powerful union of the car to fight. After several "wild" strikes condemned by the union, black workers began by creating their own organizations. DRUM considered, unlike the Black Panther Party (BPP), the workers are black-and not the unemployed are black-cities, had to be organized, because they're were a key social group and potentially more powerful: the working men and women are black-played a central role in the most important industries. ...

The "libertarian" world as an area for debate ---- Until a few months ago we had a libertarian movement in which different ideological expressions of the popular movement came together, but with certain shared elements such as recognition of the need to build organizations from the bottom, outside the State, promoting at all times internal democracy and the leading role of those directly involved, with the clarity on a strategic level that the task was to build popular power with class autonomy and encourage direct action as the main political tool for social transformation. However, the appearance of the Red Libertaria as part of the Todxs a La Moneda movement which supports the presidential candidacy of Marcel Claude and the recent sign from the Frente de Estudiantes Libertarios rejecting this initiative have only served to initiate a split within the ...

May 15 began in New Caledonia a general strike "against the cost of living" that lasted twelve days. But though the Kanak-es are in the French territorial community population with the lowest income, independence Kanak USTKE union called for not participating in the movement. This decision may seem surprising is the lighting in the process of self engaged in the archipelago since the late 1980s - and it is an opportunity to take stock of the situation, then a referendum on independence should be organized between 2014 and 2018. ---- After the Matignon Accords signed 26 June 1988 (see box "Towards the Kanak Socialist independence" and CA No. 192), the voltage has fallen in the area, but a strong cleavage of course persisted between Kanak- are (usually independence) and "Europeans" (Caldoches and Metros, often anti-independence and right). Back on the history of black feminists can understand the concept of intersectionality of social relations (gender, race, class ...). Indeed, these are the struggles and analysis of Black feminists we must largely this major contribution to the analysis of power relations. ---- Black feminism [ 1 ] emerged in the years 1970 to 1980 in the United States in a context of multiple social movements (movement against the Vietnam War, civil rights movements ...). It is the result of multiple historical heritage. ---- The history of black feminism is inseparable from the history of North American slavery and abolitionist movements. From the second half of the nineteenth century, black women and white combine to fight slavery in the southern United States. Many of them are actively involved in the escape of slaves by the famous "Underground Railroad" [ 2 ]. ...

Namely A trans person is a person who lives in a different kind from that which was assigned at birth. A trans man is a man who, at birth, was labeled "F", while a trans woman is a woman who, at birth, was labeled "M". In contrast, a cis person is a person who is not trans, that is to say, who lives in the same kind as that which was assigned at birth. A change in family status is an act to change the name and / or sex indicated on his marital status ( and therefore on official documents such as identity card, social security, etc.. ).
