NBC News Senior Political Editor Mark Murray declared on Friday that the problems associated with the health insurance exchanges website are going to be fixed before December, according to federal estimates. He told MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall that, once the website has been fixed, most Democrats and even some Republicans will move on forever from arguing over the Affordable Care Act.

Murray began by asserting that November 30 is the latest deadline by which point the government believes the health insurance exchanges will be operational online. He added that they will have to be because \

One of the world\'s leading medical journals has supported the possibility that Yasser Arafat, the longtime Palestinian leader, was poisoned with the radioactive element polonium 210.

The British The Lancet journal has published a peer review of last year\'s research by Swiss scientists on Arafat\'s personal effects.

It endorsed their work, which found high levels of the highly radioactive element in blood, urine, and saliva stains on the Palestinian leader\'s clothes and toothbrush.

The work of the experts at Lausanne University, Switzerland, was triggered by an Al Jazeera investigation, and also led to Arafat\'s body being exhumed in November 2012 for further testing.

In October 2004, Arafat fell ill, suffering from a number of symptoms, including nausea and abdominal pain.

Within a few short weeks, his health became significantly worse, and he was transferred from his base in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, to Percy Hospital in France.

His situation continued to worsen, and he suffered from acute renal failure, and entered into a neurological coma.

By November 4, 2004, he died of a cerebral haemorrhage, at the age of 75.

Despite several scientific tests, there was no evidence of poison, and the cause of his illness remained unidentified.

Following a nine-month investigation by Al Jazeera, in which several of Arafat\'s key belongings were sent to Paris for tests, results revealed they contained abnormal levels of polonium; a rare, highly radioactive element.

At the time of the investigation, Dr Francois Bochud, the director of the Institut de Radiophysique in Lausanne, told Al Jazeera: \

A grim picture of Middle East peace talks has been painted by the Israeli prime minister as US Secretary of State John Kerry pursues shuttle diplomacy aimed at securing a deal.

Benjamin Netanyahu said negotiations with the Palestinians had failed to make real progress and that he hoped Kerry, who is visiting Israel, could get them back on track.

India\'s Mars Orbiter Mission, the country\'s first interplanetary foray, blasts off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India.
India launched its first spacecraft \'Mangalyaan\' to Mars on Tuesday (November 2), a test of the emerging Asian nation\'s low-cost technology that could help it join a small club of space agencies to have explored the red planet.
The 4.5 billion-rupee (USD 73 million) Mars Orbiter Mission blasted off from the southeastern coast on Tuesday afternoon. If successful, the satellite will take about 300 days to reach Mars and will search for methane in the Martian atmosphere.
Only the United States, Europe, and Russia have so far successfully sent probes that have orbited or landed on Mars.

The peace talks between the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the M23 rebels appear to have stalled after the two camps failed to resolve the thorny issues of amnesty and the integration of M23 officers into the Congolese National Army. A planned press conference called by the Ugandan facilitator and Defence Minister Dr. Crispus Kiyonga was called off Saturday afternoon after it emerged that the two factions had failed to agree on the sticky issues. The M23 leadership has officially said they do not want to integrate in the Congolese army. The development comes a week after the head of the M23 delegation in Kampala threatened to withdraw from the talks if the DRC government troops back in eastern Congo continued to attack their positions as he put it.
The Kampala talks are being followed by a delegation of officials from the UN, African Union and the European Union.

He added that they will have to be because "all of the traffic was supposed to start coming in December." RELATED: 10 Senate Democrats Demand Obama Extend Obamacare Enrollment Period "If it actually is fixed by November 30, I don't think there's going to be much of a problem," Murray added. "We'll look back on this two or three years from now and see that this was just kind of a was a blip on the radar screen, much like the president's first debate with Mitt Romney where it was more of a historical footnote than something that actually ended up mattering." Murray added that, once the website is fixed, most Democrats and many Republicans will abandon the battle over the Affordable Care Act and cease fighting about an issue that has dominated public discourse for the last four years. "After fighting this battle for more than four years now, Tamron, if the websites are up and operational, I think you will end up hearing Democrats and maybe some Republicans saying let's move on to other issues and stop fighting the same fight we've been fighting for the last four and a half years," he concluded.

Was Yasser Arafat Poisoned?
Was Yasser Arafat Poisoned?
  • Order:
  • Duration: 2:25
  • Updated: 12 Oct 2013
One of the world's leading medical journals has supported the possibility that Yasser Arafat, the longtime Palestinian leader, was poisoned with the radioactive element polonium 210. The British The Lancet journal has published a peer review of last year's research by Swiss scientists on Arafat's personal effects. It endorsed their work, which found high levels of the highly radioactive element in blood, urine, and saliva stains on the Palestinian leader's clothes and toothbrush. The work of the experts at Lausanne University, Switzerland, was triggered by an Al Jazeera investigation, and also led to Arafat's body being exhumed in November 2012 for further testing. Following a nine-month investigation by Al Jazeera, in which several of Arafat's key belongings were sent to Paris for tests, results revealed they contained abnormal levels of polonium; a rare, highly radioactive element. At the time of the investigation, Dr Francois Bochud, the director of the Institut de Radiophysique in Lausanne, told Al Jazeera: "I can confirm to you that we measured an unexplained, elevated amount of unsupported polonium-210 in the belongings of Mr Arafat that contained stains of biological fluids." The results of the investigation led Suha Arafat, his wife, to call on the Palestinian Authority to have his body exhumed. According to the Lancet publication, "[the] findings support the possibility of Arafat's poisoning with 210Po ... on the basis of [the] forensic investigation, there was sufficient doubt to recommend the exhumation of his body in 2012". The results of that latest analysis are expected shortly.

Benjamin Netanyahu said negotiations with the Palestinians had failed to make real progress and that he hoped Kerry, who is visiting Israel, could get them back on track. "I am concerned about their progress because I see the Palestinians continuing with incitement, continuing to create artificial crises, continuing to avoid and run away from the historic decisions that are needed to make a genuine peace," Netanyahu said. Meeting the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas later, John Kerry could expect frustration to be voiced there, too. Senior Palestinians have said an Israeli plan, announced last week, for 3,500 more settler homes in the occupied West Bank is a major obstacle to the success of the negotiations. The capital is preparing for a general strike with the members of the EU, IMF and European Central Bank - collectively known as the ,"troika" in town. They have been jeered by workers after a first round of meetings to check on the governments progress in implementing austerity-driven reforms. Students at the Polytechnic University of Athens have already felt the effects of a strike. The college is shut after administrative workers walked out over planned suspensions. The move is the latest in the government efforts to slash the costs in the public sector to meet the terms of the bail out. Twelve and a half thousand civil servants have to be suspended on reduced pay. Students have been left helpless and without classes. "I am in danger of never graduating if these measures are implemented. I won't be able to continue my studies. If the lay-offs are brought in and we'll have to pay tuition fees I won't be able to continue my studies. The difficulties are already many the way things are now anyway," said Danae Karydi an engineering student. The University is just one of several educational establishments to be hit by a strike since the start of the new school year in September. With rare access to a deeply troubled corner of Pakistan, this report asks whether the tribal borderlands are a ticking time bomb of extremism. For downloads and more information visit: http://www.journeyman.tv/?lid=65884&bid;=2 Out of bounds for most Pakistanis, this report gains rare access to a deeply troubled corner of Pakistan. The army claims it has South Waziristan under control, but is it a ticking time bomb of extremism? In a military hospital in Islamabad, hundreds of "profoundly damaged and disabled" soldiers are being treated. They've come from the western tribal belt, where for the last nine years Pakistan has been waging a largely hidden war against extremists. "There has been this double game that has gone on for many years, of Pakistan supporting the NATO presence in Afghanistan and at the same time allowing the Afghan Taliban to operate against the NATO forces", explains Pakistan's foremost expert on Islamists in the region, Ahmed Rashid. He claims the government's duplicity has radicalised a local variant of the Taliban. "There is now a full-scale extremist movement in Pakistan that is trying to overthrow the State." The agents of some of the worst acts of global terrorism inhabit this remote frontier. Yet many local villagers claim life under the Taliban "was normal" and "nobody was afraid". They argue the army intervention in the region has only been destructive. In an attempt to win hearts and minds, the army has opened a high school for girls, which aid workers argue is "critical for countering extremism". However Pakistan's Taliban vow they're determined "to escalate the war". ABC Australia

India's Mars Orbiter Mission, the country's first interplanetary foray, blasts off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India. India launched its first spacecraft 'Mangalyaan' to Mars on Tuesday (November 2), a test of the emerging Asian nation's low-cost technology that could help it join a small club of space agencies to have explored the red planet. The 4.5 billion-rupee (USD 73 million) Mars Orbiter Mission blasted off from the southeastern coast on Tuesday afternoon. If successful, the satellite will take about 300 days to reach Mars and will search for methane in the Martian atmosphere. Only the United States, Europe, and Russia have so far successfully sent probes that have orbited or landed on Mars. euronews: the most watched news channel in Europe Subscribe! http://eurone.ws/10ZCK4a euronews is available in 14 languages: http://eurone.ws/17moBCU In English: Website: http://www.euronews.com/news Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/euronews.fans Twitter: http://twitter.com/euronews Google+: http://google.com/+euronews VKontakte: http://vk.com/en.euronews
