Douglas McKenzie "Doug" Somner (born 4 July 1951 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish former footballer, who played for clubs including Partick Thistle and St Mirren. He was the first player ever to score for St Mirren in European competition. He finished as the top scorer in the Scottish Football League Premier Division in the 1979–80 season.

I discovered jazz fusion in 1985 watching this band play at free outdoor performances in the Minneapolis / St. Paul "Twin Cities" area. This was shot by K-TWIN in 1986. My favorite memories are when this band played at "Main St. Jazz" in the outdoor courtyard at St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis.
