"Sweet Head" is a song written by David Bowie and recorded in 1972. It took a while before it was released, and it first appeared on the Rykodisc CD release of Ziggy Stardust in 1990. It also appeared on the 30th Anniversary Reissue bonus disc of Ziggy Stardust in 2002. Though originally written for The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders of Mars (the lyrics refer to "brother Ziggy"), it was most likely considered too provocative to be released on the original album.
