3CR Film Fundraiser - Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer

Join 3CR for an evening of punk and protest on film with Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer. Five women wearing brightly coloured balaclavas rushed the altar of a Moscow Russian Orthodox Cathedral with microphones, speakers and a guitar and launched into a "punk prayer" in protest against Vladimir Putin's "excessive nationalism". Come to the 3CR film fundraiser and get the real story of what happened next. Tickets are $22 full and $18 conc and all proceeds go to the original protest radio station - 3CR. The film starts at approximately 6:30pm on Thursday 10 October at Cinema Nova Lygon Street, Carlton.

A Legendary Lunch - Live Broadcast

You are invited to a special get-to-know-you day and fundraiser for Left After Breakfast on Sunday 29 September. Come along and meet some living legends over lunch! No, we don’t mean we’re the Legends. Every listener counts at 3CR, every listener is a legend, and we’ll be having lunch with some well-known legendary listeners. Come and join us, then you get to have lunch with them too! Our lunch will be held in the Ecocentre, Blessington Street St Kilda on Sunday 29 September from 12.30 to 2. 30 pm. Come and have lunch with us, be part of an historic broadcast of Left After Breakfast, live from the Ecocentre. Five choirs a soloist and a trio are playing a live concert at 1 Mark St. North Fitzroy to raise funds for the Music Sans Frontieres Radiothon effort. Three choirs singing the traditonal songs of Georgia, men's ensemble Gorani, Utskho Suneli women's choir and the Melbourne Georgian Choir, directed by Nino Tsitsishvili, plus Living Out Loud and Cadence with Rose Gonzalez, and the Krstevska Sisters offer a packed night of songs and music.
