Karbala Agha Mir Lucknow
Karbala Agha Mir or Karbala Moata-mud-Daula, Narhi, Lucknow Also known as Karbala Moata-mud-Daula, built by Prime minister of Oudh Moata-mud-Daula Saiyed Mohammad Agha Mir in 1815 AD. Agha Mir was the prime minister of first king (sixth Nawab) Ghazi-ud-deen Haider of Oudh. The monument originally is a Shia religious place meant for Azadari (Mourning rituals of Moharram) and daily Namaaz by local Shia muslim community. Monument is waqf property registered as Waqf Karbala Moata-mud-Daula with Central Shia Waqf Board, Lucknow. According to the Shia Waqf Board, the property was registered with them by Saiyed Mohammad Agha Meer who was given the title of Nawab Moata-mud-Daula Bahadur in 1233 Hijri/1818 AD. After the Mutiny Britishers confiscated the properties and religious places of Shia Muslims for their active participation in the first war of independence of 1857. Monument came under the illegal possession of East India Company in February 1856 AD and later they handed it over to Freemasons. Please liberate this Karbala from Freemason, buildres and State Government.- published: 30 Mar 2014

LUCKNOW THE NAWABI CITY, INDIA.
LUCKNOW: THE NAWABI CITY,INDIA. Editer-Jitendra Kumar Jitu. Voice-Anju Paudel. Lucknow the city of nawabs, capital of Uttar Pradesh was founded by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. The city recites the story of nawabs, their culture and mesmerise you of the sweetness of their language. The only city in India, where you can still hear words like janab, aap, tum and pehele aap. The Language in which respect is engraved, the culture in which Adab and tehzeeb is inbuilt. The Food is above taste and infrastructures are beyond construction. Lucknow is not only the land of royals it is also honoured to be land of Art forms like Kathak, Thumri, Khayal, Dadra, Qawalis, Ghazals and Shero Shairis. Infact, it was in the streets of the city only that Tabla and Sitar were born. The era of the nawabs also gifted Lucknow with the literature, music, dance and arts and crafts that draw tourists here. In the olden times, it served as the capital of the nawabs of Awadh and it is one of the reasons why it is also called as the city of the Nawabs. Even after witnessing modernization, Lucknow has managed to retain its age-old charm and glory. The warmth, the hospitality and the formality of the city have still not been lost. Lucknow tourism brings one closer to the glorious day's city, through a visit to its numerous monuments and ruins. Some of the must checkouts!
