Nightlife in Tokyo is a serious business. And nowhere more serious than in the neon capital of Shinjuku, which is home to the biggest and most famous nightlife area in Japan - Kabukichō (歌舞伎町). The area puts almost any other "nightlife district" - on the planet- to shame with not only it's immense size, but in it's dizzying array of activities. Everything from batting cages and manga cafes, to Soapland and fetish clubs can be found within a stones throw of each other. Angry homeless man, at 1:10 is long known to us, his territory is basically around the Milano Theatre and is so blindingly drunk at all times, has no recollection of things even 5 minutes prior. A gem of Kabukicho to be sure. (pro-tip, the thumbnail of the video can be seen as the outside posters of the shop at 2:07) Royalty free music.
