We are going in this occasion to the northwestern tip of Spain, we are in the Autonomous Community of Galicia, in the Province of A Coruña that gives its same name to its most populated city, welcome to A Coruña.
Day and night, there is always atmosphere here. This is a city to stroll and enjoy, with beaches right in the center and, presided over by the Tower of Hercules, a long Promenade that almost completely surrounds it.
The people of A Coruña have a reputation for living well, so follow their customs. Sit on a terrace in the Plaza de María Pita and discover its fascinating history. Or stroll through the Cantons and admire its famous glass galleries, in a modernist style. And if you want to go shopping this is the perfect place, especially if you want to dress up in fashion.
In addition, A Coruña has excellent museums such as the Fine Arts, the House of Sciences, the Domus or the Archaeological, in the Castillo de San Antón. And at sunset, nothing like the cozy and romantic Jardín de San Carlos or if you prefer animation, the Jardines de Méndez Núñez, right in the center.

8. Castle de San Anton (10:17)
The San Antón castle is a beautiful island fortress located at the entrance of the port. This castle was a means of defense which the people of Coruna heavily relied on. Throughout its history, the Castle has been a fortress, a governor's residence and a prison. Today it accommodates the archeological and history museum as well as a remarkable collection of silverware.

A beautiful Conch like statue located in Punta Hermida park. Walking distance from the Tower of Hercules, this Conch statue is designed to make the Atlantic wind blow through the horn. Take a romantic stroll at the park, enjoy the Atlantic breeze, and take some cool photos.

11. Iglesia de San Jorge (13:57)
San Jorge Church is a sinister looking old church located in Plaza Marqués de San Martín . The cruceiro in the courtyard in front of the church is carved in a medieval style and is surrounded by 4 smaller pillars. Great location to take photos, especially at night.

12. Orzan Beach and Monte de San Pedro (14:57)
I highly recommend to take a hike or enjoy a leisurely walk on the beautiful sea-side promenades of La Coruna. A nice 8km hike starts with Caracola Monch Amigo conch statue. Walk through Hermida Park, Orzan Beach, Praia do Matadoiro (which translates to "Slaughterhouse beach”), Explanada de Las Esclavas, the giant Obelisco Millenium statue, "The octopus" statue, and my favorite, “Window to the Atlantic” (https://goo.gl/maps/1ASDuzwiZnytRqCA9).
If you still have time and you are not fatigue, you can visit the San Pedro Mountain Park.
13. Santiago de Compostela (17:10)
Located one hour drive from La Coruna, Santiago de Compostela is the capital of Galicia and the final destination of the 1000km+ hike of the well-knows Camino de Santiago trail.

14. Hot Springs in Ourense/Orense (19:36)
Located on a volcano an hour away from La Coruna, Ourense is known for its hot springs. Great to relax. The one I visited is 30 minutes from the city.

Aerial drone flying over A Coruña-GALICIA, Spain shows how spectacular this city is on the North Atlantic Coast and the Castillo de San Antón. Nice coastal city that was bigger than I thought once I got airborne:) I wanted to show a closer view of one of the buildings in this film; however, it appeared sensitive/government so I flew around it as to not show a part I felt should remain theirs.

I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

A Coruña (Galician: [a koˈɾuɲa] official name, Spanish: La Coruña pronounced: [la koˈɾuɲa], English: Corunna) is a city and municipality of Galicia, Spain. It is the second-largest city in the autonomous community and seventeenth overall in the country. The city is the provincial capital of the province of the same name, having also served as political capital of the Kingdom of Galicia from the 16th to the 19th centuries, and as a regional administrative centre between 1833 and 1982, before being replaced by Santiago de Compostela.
A Coruña is a busy port located on a promontory in the entrance of an estuary in a large gulf (the Portus Magnus Artabrorum of the classical geographers) on the Atlantic Ocean. It provides a distribution point for agricultural goods from the region.
Name
In English, use of the Spanish or Galician forms now predominates. However, the traditional form Corunna /kəˈrʌnə/ can still be found, particularly in reference to the Battle of Corunna in the Peninsular War. Archaically, the city was known as The Groyne, probably from French "La Corogne", although this name could also be as much a geographical description given the city occupies a small peninsula protruding out into the Atlantic. In Spain, currently the only official form of the name is the Galician one, "A Coruña". Nonetheless, the Spanish form, La Coruña, is still widespread, and it is the traditional name in Spanish recommended by the Real Academia Española for texts in Spanish. Certain groups of people have advocated elevating the reintegrationist spelling "A Corunha" to official status, pointing to the provisions of the Spanish Constitution of 1978 and claiming that it is unconstitutional to stipulate use of the Real Academia Galega spelling, but have not been successful so far.

Province of A Coruña
The province of A Coruña (Spanish: La Coruña, pronounced: [la koˈɾuɲa], and Corunna in English) is the most North-western Atlantic-facing province of Spain, and one of the four provinces which constitute the autonomous community of Galicia. This province is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the West and North, Pontevedra Province to the South and the Lugo Province to the East.
History
The history of this province starts at the end of the Middle Ages during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs of Spain. During those years this province was far smaller than today. This is because in the 1833 territorial division of Spain the entire Province of Betanzos together with half of the Mondoñedo were amalgamated into one single province with its capital city in A Coruña. That was going to be the beginning of a love hate relationship between the major cities caught in between: Ferrol, Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña. Due to this unusual situation, the dioceses of these parts of Galicia do not match any longer with the administrative divisions. In addition, the capital city of the province has never had a cathedral, but both Ferrol and Santiago de Compostela have one. The City of Santiago de Compostela is not the provincial capital, but has always been the capital of Galicia and historically a rival to Toledo for being the most important city in Spain ecclesiastically speaking.

A Coruña (Spanish Congress Electoral District)
A Coruña is one of the 52 electoral districts (Spanish: circunscripciones) used for the Spanish Congress of Deputies - the lower chamber of the Spanish Parliament, the Cortes Generales. It is located in the Community of Galicia. A Coruña is the largest municipality and the only municipality with more than 100,000 voters. After that the largest towns are Ferrol and Santiago de Compostela.
Boundaries and electoral system
Under Article 68 of the Spanish constitution the boundaries must be the same as the province of A Coruña and under Article 140 this can only be altered with the approval of congress. Voting is on the basis of universal suffrage in a secret ballot. The electoral system used is closed list proportional representation with seats allocated using the D'Hondt method. Only lists which poll 3% or more of all valid votes cast, including votes "en blanco" (i.e. for "none of the above") can be considered for seats. Under article 12 of the constitution, the minimum voting age is 18.

We are going in this occasion to the northwestern tip of Spain, we are in the Autonomous Community of Galicia, in the Province of A Coruña that gives its same name to its most populated city, welcome to A Coruña.
Day and night, there is always atmosphere here. This is a city to stroll and enjoy, with beaches right in the center and, presided over by the Tower of Hercules, a long Promenade that almost completely surrounds it.
The people of A Coruña have a reputation for living well, so follow their customs. Sit on a terrace in the Plaza de María Pita and discover its fascinating history. Or stroll through the Cantons and admire its famous glass galleries, in a modernist style. And if you want to go shopping this is the perfect place, especially if you want to dress up in fashion.
In addition, A Coruña has excellent museums such as the Fine Arts, the House of Sciences, the Domus or the Archaeological, in the Castillo de San Antón. And at sunset, nothing like the cozy and romantic Jardín de San Carlos or if you prefer animation, the Jardines de Méndez Núñez, right in the center.

The Tower of Hercules in La Coruna, Spain is the oldest Roman lighthouse in use today. Legend says the tower was built over the body of a Giant Hercules defeated after a battle that lasted 3 days. 8. Castle de San Anton (10:17)
The San Antón castle is a beautiful island fortress located at the entrance of the port. This castle was a means of defense which the people of Coruna heavily relied on. Throughout its history, the Castle has been a fortress, a governor's residence and a prison. Today it accommodates the archeological and history museum as well as a remarkable collection of silverware.

9. Termaria Casa del Agua (11:43)
Termaria Casa del Agua is a temple of relaxation. Varying temperature Salt pools., jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, sun decks, infrared red relaxation rooms. This is the perfect place to de-stress, relax, and charge up your batteries. Occasionally they will even throw parties.

10. Caracola Moncho Amigo (12:20)
A beautiful Conch like statue located in Punta Hermida park. Walking distance from the Tower of Hercules, this Conch statue is designed to make the Atlantic wind blow through the horn. Take a romantic stroll at the park, enjoy the Atlantic breeze, and take some cool photos.

11. Iglesia de San Jorge (13:57)
San Jorge Church is a sinister looking old church located in Plaza Marqués de San Martín . The cruceiro in the courtyard in front of the church is carved in a medieval style and is surrounded by 4 smaller pillars. Great location to take photos, especially at night.

12. Orzan Beach and Monte de San Pedro (14:57)
I highly recommend to take a hike or enjoy a leisurely walk on the beautiful sea-side promenades of La Coruna. A nice 8km hike starts with Caracola Monch Amigo conch statue. Walk through Hermida Park, Orzan Beach, Praia do Matadoiro (which translates to "Slaughterhouse beach”), Explanada de Las Esclavas, the giant Obelisco Millenium statue, "The octopus" statue, and my favorite, “Window to the Atlantic” (https://goo.gl/maps/1ASDuzwiZnytRqCA9).
If you still have time and you are not fatigue, you can visit the San Pedro Mountain Park.
13. Santiago de Compostela (17:10)
Located one hour drive from La Coruna, Santiago de Compostela is the capital of Galicia and the final destination of the 1000km+ hike of the well-knows Camino de Santiago trail.

Located on a volcano an hour away from La Coruna, Ourense is known for its hot springs. Great to relax. The one I visited is 30 minutes from the city.

Aerial drone flying over A Coruña-GALICIA, Spain shows how spectacular this city is on the North Atlantic Coast and the Castillo de San Antón. Nice coastal city that was bigger than I thought once I got airborne:) I wanted to show a closer view of one of the buildings in this film; however, it appeared sensitive/government so I flew around it as to not show a part I felt should remain theirs.

I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

We are going in this occasion to the northwestern tip of Spain, we are in the Autonomous Community of Galicia, in the Province of A Coruña that gives its same name to its most populated city, welcome to A Coruña.
Day and night, there is always atmosphere here. This is a city to stroll and enjoy, with beaches right in the center and, presided over by the Tower of Hercules, a long Promenade that almost completely surrounds it.
The people of A Coruña have a reputation for living well, so follow their customs. Sit on a terrace in the Plaza de María Pita and discover its fascinating history. Or stroll through the Cantons and admire its famous glass galleries, in a modernist style. And if you want to go shopping this is the perfect place, especially if you want to dress up in fashion.
In addition, A Coruña has excellent museums such as the Fine Arts, the House of Sciences, the Domus or the Archaeological, in the Castillo de San Antón. And at sunset, nothing like the cozy and romantic Jardín de San Carlos or if you prefer animation, the Jardines de Méndez Núñez, right in the center.

8. Castle de San Anton (10:17)
The San Antón castle is a beautiful island fortress located at the entrance of the port. This castle was a means of defense which the people of Coruna heavily relied on. Throughout its history, the Castle has been a fortress, a governor's residence and a prison. Today it accommodates the archeological and history museum as well as a remarkable collection of silverware.

A beautiful Conch like statue located in Punta Hermida park. Walking distance from the Tower of Hercules, this Conch statue is designed to make the Atlantic wind blow through the horn. Take a romantic stroll at the park, enjoy the Atlantic breeze, and take some cool photos.

11. Iglesia de San Jorge (13:57)
San Jorge Church is a sinister looking old church located in Plaza Marqués de San Martín . The cruceiro in the courtyard in front of the church is carved in a medieval style and is surrounded by 4 smaller pillars. Great location to take photos, especially at night.

12. Orzan Beach and Monte de San Pedro (14:57)
I highly recommend to take a hike or enjoy a leisurely walk on the beautiful sea-side promenades of La Coruna. A nice 8km hike starts with Caracola Monch Amigo conch statue. Walk through Hermida Park, Orzan Beach, Praia do Matadoiro (which translates to "Slaughterhouse beach”), Explanada de Las Esclavas, the giant Obelisco Millenium statue, "The octopus" statue, and my favorite, “Window to the Atlantic” (https://goo.gl/maps/1ASDuzwiZnytRqCA9).
If you still have time and you are not fatigue, you can visit the San Pedro Mountain Park.
13. Santiago de Compostela (17:10)
Located one hour drive from La Coruna, Santiago de Compostela is the capital of Galicia and the final destination of the 1000km+ hike of the well-knows Camino de Santiago trail.

A Coruña
A Coruña (Galician: [a koˈɾuɲa] official name, Spanish: La Coruña pronounced: [la koˈɾuɲa], English: Corunna) is a city and municipality of Galicia, Spain. It is the second-largest city in the autonomous community and seventeenth overall in the country. The city is the provincial capital of the province of the same name, having also served as political capital of the Kingdom of Galicia from the 16th to the 19th centuries, and as a regional administrative centre between 1833 and 1982, before being replaced by Santiago de Compostela.
A Coruña is a busy port located on a promontory in the entrance of an estuary in a large gulf (the Portus Magnus Artabrorum of the classical geographers) on the Atlantic Ocean. It provides a distribution point for agricultural goods from the region.
Name
In English, use of the Spanish or Galician forms now predominates. However, the traditional form Corunna /kəˈrʌnə/ can still be found, particularly in reference to the Battle of Corunna in the Peninsular War. Archaically, the city was known as The Groyne, probably from French "La Corogne", although this name could also be as much a geographical description given the city occupies a small peninsula protruding out into the Atlantic. In Spain, currently the only official form of the name is the Galician one, "A Coruña". Nonetheless, the Spanish form, La Coruña, is still widespread, and it is the traditional name in Spanish recommended by the Real Academia Española for texts in Spanish. Certain groups of people have advocated elevating the reintegrationist spelling "A Corunha" to official status, pointing to the provisions of the Spanish Constitution of 1978 and claiming that it is unconstitutional to stipulate use of the Real Academia Galega spelling, but have not been successful so far.
