Tom Dixon came to Matter and signed copies of his new book Dixonary. The publication covers his entire body of work from his first drawing, to his most recent projects. The book signing coincided with a new Tom Dixon display up in the showroom.  Come by to see pieces from his latest collections, including the impressive, never-before-seen 4 ft. Punch Ball. 
 

 



The MatterMade extended family of products is now available, which includes new colors, new finishes, and a few design revisions. Shown above, Pallet from Jonah Takagi's Range Life series is now available individually, and in several new stains. Browse through our MatterMade section to meet the new family members. 



One look at the Roman and Williams collection will let you know that details matter to these designers. The Woodrum Table light comes with a custom milled dimmer knob, and a jewel-like pull fob elegant enough to be placed on a necklace. If you haven't seen this collection up close and personal, you should. All pieces are currently on view in the showroom.

Bec Brittain's new collection is now available, and includes some wonderful new materials. We will be receiving pieces soon and installing them in the showroom.  Come visit us and see them.

The Inheritance Armchair by Stephen Kenn is composed of a welded steel frame, custom webbing belts, smooth leather straps and re-purposed WWII military fabric. The designer acheives something entirely new by pairing modern design principles with elements of nostalgia.


The Helix series is comprised of custom brass hardware and LED tubes wrapping around a central support. The floor version features a black marble base and floor switch. Hanging versions are also available.



The concept behind the Cross Chair was to pare back the structure to it's minimum requirement whilst retaining an elegant form. It's unique form makes it possible to neatly stack multiple Cross Chairs saving space while preserving it's aesthetic profile.


Tessella uses etched mirror to create patterns with light. Through the use of selective transparency and tessellated panes of mirror, 2-dimensional designs take 3-dimensional form.



The “Pin Series” is based on traditional wedge-in-tenon joinery which holds the horizontal elements captive between the vertical elements with the force of several small wedges. Units pack flat and are easy to assemble.
