Kim Joo-sung (born January 17, 1966) is a former South Korean football midfielder.
He played for the clubs Chosun University and Busan Daewoo Royals, both in South Korea, and later in the German Bundesliga for VfL Bochum.
He was nicknamed Yasaengma (hangeul: 야생마, literally Wild Horse) due to his pace and long mane of curly hair.
With the South Korea national team, he participated at three editions of the FIFA World Cup, in 1986, 1990, and 1994. He was elected the Asian Footballer of the Year for three consecutive years (1989, 1990, 1991). He also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
In September 2003 he attended a sports management masters course at De Montfort University, Leicester until February 2004 when his studies took him to Switzerland. During his time in Leicester he lived in flat B.0 Bede Hall, a large hall of residence adjacent to the river Soar.
He now takes charge of KFA International Relations Department Chief.
Kim Joo-Sung (Korean: 김주성, Hanja: 金鑄城; born 9 November 1979) is a South Korean basketball player. Born in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, he plays forward-center. He currently plays for Wonju Dongbu Promy, and he wears number 32. He is 205 centimetres (6 ft 9 in) tall.
Kim attended Chung-Ang University from 1998 to 2001. He played on the college's basketball team.
After college, Kim joined the Wonju TG Xers. Kim had one of the best rookie recording averages with 17.04 points, 8.72 rebounds, 2.24 assists, and 2.07 shoot-blocks in the season. In addition, he helped the team win the championship keeping the goal in the post-season of the 2002-2003 league. Kim averaged 18.85 points, 8.85 rebounds, and 2.43 shoot-blocks and won the Most Valuable Player of the league in the 2003-2004 season. However, the Xers failed to win the championship of 2003-2004, losing to Jeonju KCC Egis. In spite of the team's loss, The Xers won the championship in the 2004-2005 season, and Kim won the Most Valuable Player of the post-season for the first time.
